HP Computer Showing 2008 Date When Turned On?
Oct 15, 2012I have an HP All-in-One Pvilion desktop and it has been returned on more than one occasion. When I turn the computer on, the date is 2008. What can I do to halt this?

Computer Turned On Nothing Showing Up On Screen
Nov 29, 2011Since my new comp has been built, about a month ago, every now and then when I power up the computer it fails to display anything on my monitor. I look into the case and see that the red VGA LED is lit up on the motherboard. Whenever this happens, I take my GPU out and reinsert it, close up the case, power up and it works again.
Motherboard is Asus P8P67 Pro B3 Rev
GPU is Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 SO

Installed Latest Chipset Driver Still Showing Out Of Date?
Oct 11, 2012Ive been trying to make sure that all my drivers are up to date, so I've got the program Driver Max to make sure that they are the latest versions. Ok so as I understand it, things like:
'Intel (R) ICH10 Express Root Port 1-5 etc'
'Intel (R) ICH10 SMBus Controller -3A30'
'Intel (R) ICH10 LPC Interface Controller - 3A16'
And all of those related things are what the chip set driver update's? If I'm wrong please explain how I update those things. If I'm right then why would it say they were out of date when I've gone to the Intel site and used the driver detection feature and it says I'm up to date?

Computer Keeps Turning Itself Off And Also Resetting Date And Time
Nov 7, 2012The problem I am having is that whenever I log onto my computer, I can see that the date and time at the bottom right of the screen always seems to reset to 31/12/2006. I always try to fix this by going to the option where you can synchronise the date and time with the Windows server time, however, this doesn't always seem to work.Another problem I am encountering is that the computer itself seems to be cutting out at different times, for example I could be 98% complete into a full system scan with Kaspersky 2012, but the computer suddenly cuts out, this would also be the case when browsing the internet or completing some Word documents. One other thing to mention as well is that since these problems have occurred, whenever I turn on my computer, I never have to press the power button on, as it seems to turn itself on whenever I switch the power supply on. This is also not normal.

First I tried with an on board LAN cart then I added external cart - Intel(R) PRO/1000 GT.In the device manager I checked "Allow this device to wake up the computer" and "Only allow a magic packed to wake up the computer" for the network adapter.In BIOS I enabled the PME Event Wake up property.On my machine I installed a Magic Packect sender/receiver to check whather the packets can reach the computer and I see that the packets are received when I send them from my phone.But when the computer is turned off I can't wake it this way. Also there's light from my LAN cart, so I assume that is has power from the mainboard when the computer is turned off. I went to the device manager and selected the Atheros AR5007 driver and selected "update". Halfway through, the computer gave me BSOD.
