NO Disk Found When Computer Turned On Message?
Feb 28, 2012I have been having problems logging on to my computer and the Internet, accessing files etc. for some time now, recently whenever I turn on the computer I get the message cannot find disk? I am not sure what category I should post tohats going on? And if possible how to fix it. I did do a scan about a week ago and was told the there was a program installed on my computer to allow remote access, which I have since cleaned out and reinstalled windows 7.[CODE]

But everytime I finished playing games such as Crysis 2 or Just Cause 2 or Adobe the screen will be in over brightness so that I have to go to Control Panel > Color Management and click Set as Default Profile to get it back to normal.
My question is what command I can set a color profile in a command prompt, so that I can put it into the end of a batch file?
Displays Won't Turn Off After 3 Minutes But It Will Then Put The Computer To Sleep After 10 Minutes While The Displays Are Still On?
Aug 20, 2012I currently have it set to turn off my displays at 3 minutes of inactivity, and put the computer to sleep after 10 minutes.Sometimes, the displays won't turn off after 3 minutes, but it will then put the computer to sleep after 10 minutes while the displays are still on. More often, it will turn the displays off, but won't ever put the computer to sleep.Why wouldn't the computer go to sleep?Wouldn't any activity turn the displays back on? And so if they don't come back on, why wouldn't it go to sleep?why wouldn't the displays turn off, and then it goes to sleep?

Some web addresses are case sensitive.' comes up.As well as this, facebook chat does not work from time to time and simply shows a triangle ! sign instead. I've tried to look everywhere to resolve this but nobody seems to have the same issue.

Dec 17, 2012My friend has a computer thats displaying an error message when he presses the power button to turn on his laptop. He has had it sense 2009 and it has worked perfectly fine up till today. After pressing the power button he immediately sees the screen shown in the link below. After he saw that screen he turned his computer off and attempted to turn it back on, the screen did not come on but all the lights displayed on the machine came on as normal and the fan was fully functioning. I dont know the specs of his laptop but he has an dell inspiron 1525. I have included a link that shows the specs for this pc model as well as an image taken of the error message.

Aug 22, 2012Earlier today I accidentally turned off my pc at the switch as it was loading a game by resting my foot on it. When I turned it back on it could load to desktop and load the icons, but I couldn't open anything. Infact, the only thing that did run was Hamachi, and that appeared to freeze (although I could exit it with no problems). The computer runs normally on safe mode, and my first instinct after discovering this was to reinstall the video card drivers (fixed a similar problem for me about 2-3 weeks ago where the desktop froze upon loading), but this has not worked, as you could probably gather.

Sep 14, 2012i recently got an update from microsoft on win 7, and immediately after it had finished updating i had no sound in any application (aim, skype, chrome, firefox, Internet, etc.). this has happened before, and i ran microsoft's sound problems wizard and it always said that an option had been clicked off and that it had restored it.this time when i ran the wizard it says it detects no problems. i am sure it is the software, as it happens a lot with ms updates. will downloadi can't go back to a previous configuration, i don't have one to go to

I look into the case and see that the red VGA LED is lit up on the motherboard. Whenever this happens, I take my GPU out and reinsert it, close up the case, power up and it works again.

Sep 22, 2012I can't enable wake on lan on my computer. First I tried with an on board LAN cart then I added external cart - Intel(R) PRO/1000 GT.In the device manager I checked "Allow this device to wake up the computer" and "Only allow a magic packed to wake up the computer" for the network adapter.In BIOS I enabled the PME Event Wake up property.On my machine I installed a Magic Packect sender/receiver to check whather the packets can reach the computer and I see that the packets are received when I send them from my phone.But when the computer is turned off I can't wake it this way. Also there's light from my LAN cart, so I assume that is has power from the mainboard when the computer is turned off. My mainboard is Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3 and the operating system is Windows 7 32bit.

Jan 21, 2012I am on Windows 7 x64. Today I turned my computer on and it stopped at the "Windows Error Recovery". From the 2 options given I chose "Start Windows Normally". After pressing Enter it will not go beyond the black screen where it says "Starting Windows" and immediately reboots to the "Windows Error Recovery" again. I then chose the other option which is "Launch Startup Repair", entered the Disk, wait for it to load system files but it reboots to the Disk loading the files again like an eternal loop. Tried the F8 Advance booting options, chose "boot in safe mode with command prompt", it starts loading but then it reboots itself again!!

Nov 27, 2012I have 4 Win 7 computer that will not up-date, Windows shows 21 updates available (all 4 computers show same), upon reboot system says "Updates Failed". Each computer upon reboot dsiplays an error message saying the "updates failed". rinse - repeat.This started with one computer about a month ago, I now have 4 that are doing it. I have scanned with Combofix, Superantispyware, Rkill, Symamtec's Endpoint, eSet on-line, Panda on-line, Malwarebytes, JRT, ADWcleaner, CCleaner, FSS, awsMBR, and tried the MS FIXIT.
I also tried this procedure:
1) Disabled Windows update Service
2) Deleted all files in c:\windows\softwaredistribution\datastore and deleted files in c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download
4) 3) Downloaded and installed the most up to date Windows Update Agent.
5) Restarted Windows Update Agent, made sure Workstation and Background Intelligent Transfer Services were running.
6) Ran the MS Mr. Fixit program to repair update issues.
7) Ran the Windows update. 21 updates to install (as always).
8) Rebooted
9) Guess what, same issue!
I tried this on ALL 4 COMPUTERS I have with this SAME issue, 2 of which are on the same domain, the other two are laptops. ALL 4 FAILED. All four (4) again show the need to receive 21 updates. All 4 were again ran through the update process, all four (4) again failed post re-boot to take the updates (message stated �up-dates failed� post re-boot)
