Help Unintalling Program - Internet Downloading

his program is dependent on the internet to unload and download important information containing my progress. but the program will not stay up. it will exit without any error or warning to the desktop. No data is saved to their servers. I know it's got to be my end. as I have seen others use it (in the classroom) without problems. My connection is stable. and I have DSL. In cases like this I would usually uninstall and then reinstall. I can not lose my past progress as it is saved to their servers. But I cannot uninstall as the setup.exe for the program cannot be found, I have not done a manual uninstall before.

Lately when I download any type of file whether it be from the internet or from my Sony Cybershot, I am being denied access to whatever I downloaded. Just downloaded pictures and video from my camera to my computer and I moved all 'video' to a folder I called 'our video'. Now that it is there I cannot access it. Just plainly says, " 'our video' is not accessible, access denied". It is not allowing me to move it to another folder as well.
When I tried to play the video before I was getting the access denied thing, media player was saying that it cannot play that type of file. I have NEVER had an issue with playing ANY pics. or video that came from my camera. This has been going on for a few weeks with every video or picture that I add to my computer. After it is downloaded I can't access it. I am running XP professional.

I would like to know if there is an excellent program that a person could use to completely delete a program.I mostly use add/delete programs in the Control Panel, but there are times when I would like to use something to completely delete a program (hard drive files and registry files).

Has anyone had problems with their computer after downloading Internet Explorer 7?
I was going to try it until I was told by a friend that he's had nothing but problems with his computer since he downloaded it.I've read that this IE 7 is a beta version which means that all the bugs haven't been worked out yet? Maybe that might have something to do with my friends computer problems, I don't know.Just wondering what the public response has been about this new version of IE.

For some reason, when tried to open a PDF file over the internet, it shows the downloading and then when it's done, it's just a white screen. I tried going back but it's still the same thing. So I went to my desktop and clicked on some other older PDF file I had and I don't get know error message or anything, it doesn't open.

After downloaded Internet Explorer 7 in wouldn't totally install because I needed to downloads updates and my computer wouldn't. So now I can's use my people's pc internet connection I click on it and it does NOTHING. It's like I don't have it anymore.

I recently go tthe new comp and then ran into some errors when downloading off the internet, Files turn corrupt most of the time on IE or Firefox and other times it might want to work, Downloading the install for Winamp is one which will corrupt every time no matter how I try it, check for virus's, spyware, turn everything else off, turn off the firewall and I've done all that and still haven't gotten anything. I've been told I should try and update my bios but I know that could only cause more problems in certain cases, Even when trying the asus auto update it says that it couldn't uncompress it. One of the classic errors is" NSIS error, The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or virus. It may be possible to skip this check using /NCRC command line switch(Not recommended )". As well as say if any torrents that I get bit comet says it's corrupt and ones that work in the regular bittorrent downloader go at trash speeds, router I was on was set up before this so it should still be good. I hope this is enough information, if more is needed I'd be happy to tell you. I also cleaned the regestry and checked for viruses and malware as well as anything else I could think of.

My cumputer runs Windows XP Service Pack 3. Every day I am invited by Microsoft(automatic update program) to update my browser. After downloading the program it does not install. It is simply impossible.Note that before reinstalling my operational system a couple of months ago, I had Internet Explorer 7 running in my computer without any problems.

I've tried Norton, Ad-Aware SE, Spybot, unintalling and reinstalling, and I still have this worm. Basically, it just sends an IM to anybody I'm talking to, saying check this out: and then a hyperlink. I don't know if this is the best place to come but its the only place I could find. Could somebody either tell me how to fix this or point me in the right direction to somebody who can?

Have only tried this on XP Pro but it works great. Decreased my login time from 2mins to 15secs. Increased my network speed (ex. 170MB file took 15-20min. Now the same 170MB file takes less than 2mins). WOW!Here it is... Go into your network properties and then into your TCP/IP settings. Add your Server's IP address as Prefered DNS Server. Then select you Advanced button, go into your WINS tab and insert your Server's IP address for your WINS address as well. Reboot the system and you SHOULD see a difference. I have already tried this on several systems and have seen the same increase in speed

I have one internet program,( with my bank), that freezes every time I open it. If I delete my Sun Microsoft Java then it runs. This does not happen to me on a laptop that I uses. Both machines run Win XP.It's a pain to keep adding ang removing the Java.

I'm writing this on behalf of a friend. She has a pc that works on the OS XP Home. She used it on Saturday to fill in an application on line. She tried to go on line again yesterday and it wouldn't connect to the internet. A dialogue box appeared stating: Buffer Overrun: a buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. The program cannot safely continue.

Have noticed the internet explorer is now displaying it's wrong icon on my program shortcuts [That is = Start = Programs = say - Legacy Family Tree = and there they are showing as a white back ground with small dots coloured, Red , blue and green? I have a Dell E1505 Inspiron laptop running Windows XP Media. It takes a very long time after I type my password in the logon screen to get into the system - it sits for several minutes and then eventually moves again and opens up the desktop. When I click on the icon to connect to the internet wirelessly,it again takes several minutes seems frozen, before it does connect. In addition,I run McAfee on my system and it flashes up a message saying that it blocked a potentially unwanted program GenericPUP.H, but cannot seem to remove it. Also, there is a folder under c:Documents and Settings Programs called vmntoolbar. I found out that this could cause problems also, but I cannot seem to be able to delete it.

every time i try to open anything that uses these programs i get a 'windows/internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close' crash i think i have a virus in my processes i have 2 strange ones one is n6tgoxae.exe the other is 86851316.exe norton fixes this is for a short while but then the problem soon returns i have also tried spybot search and destroy as well as running AdAware can anyone help me on how to fix my explorer problems and gettin rid of
these processes?

My operating system is "Windows xp professional" with 512 Mb ram.A program came from internet which every two or three minutes opens a small window (baloon) saying "critical system error" and "system detects virus activities get antimalware software to fix the problem" and then "click this baloon to get all available software" If you click the baloon it sends you to an internet adress "http//www.virusburst.com" There they try to sell me a program called "Virusburst".My system seems to work fine though.

I have been having problems with my computer and a frend told me to download Windows XP OEM SP2 using a torrent website and UTORRENT. I want to download Microsoft's antispyware beta. But I've never downloaded anything before.I've started a few but I get confused when I'm suppose to click on "run" or "save", so I end up canceling. is it possible to download a file straight to the E (cd burner) drive? i don't know what i am doing, so playing around i just downloaded a file to that location, but it says the files are ~ready~ to be written to the cd and i don't know what steps to take next. i would be grateful for any guidance (oooh, and question - if i do manage to get files directly to the cd like that, will they still leave traces just as if i'd downloaded them to the hard drive?)
