Cannot Open Explorer - Get The Error Message 0xc0000006?

I turn the computer on, Windows (7 Home Premium, on a Dell Inspiron) starts, I go to my logon screen, type my password, hear the music and see the "Welcome" screen for a long time (3 minutes or so). Then I get a small error window with the message The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000006). Please Click OK to continue.I click OK, and I see a frozen screen (black, not blue).That's it. Nothing else happen. Nothing works, except Ctrl+Alt+Del, Task Manager, where however, I cannot do anything.I can start window with the command prompt, or in safe mode, but I cannot go to explorer works (I have run explorer from the cmd prompt, with the same result as described above

I just uninstalled Acronis True Image 2011 from my Home Premium 64 and when I rebooted and tried to open Explorer I got a message saying that I needed to install the above dll.

i recently turned my computer on and its changed, and when i try to open a programme it comes up with a error message saying:'These files can't be opened. When starting Internet Explorer, I keep getting and error message telling me that Windows Installer cannot be accessed. Now I cannot open Outlook, Word, iTunes etc. When I do try to open these programs, I get a message saying "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Small Business 2007", but it doesnt seem to do anything. I've run a diagnostic (F12) and was alerted of the following error :Error Code 0142, Msg Error Code 2000-0142, Status 79. The system is extremely slow and I can only stay logged onto an IE page for a few minutes before it has to shut down. My system just restarted (not sure why) and after the start up I got this error message "An error occurred in the program. Try to open it again. If this problem continues, you'll need to reinstall Microsoft Security Client. Error Code: 0x80040154". I am using Windows 7 Home Premium on a Dell Studio.

ive been having a problem with internet explorer crashing since i bought my laptopim using ie9 and i keep getting the msg saying internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close (i appoligize if its not the exact words). than it closes all my programs down. i dont know if it has to do with another problem i have been having while playing facebook games and watching movies using flash player. right out of the blue my game or movie (whichever im doing) freezes than either says i need to update flashplayer or it just shows a big "!" were my game or movie should be.

I have Win7 64bit OS & Office 2003 which I have been using perfectly ok but a couple of days ago it stopped editing emails in word I reloaded Office & then Avast was not found so I reloaded that but I now can't open a link from email.When i do click on a link I get the following message "this operation has been canceled due to the restrictions in effect on this computer. contact your system administator" I am the system administator?Also I have not been able to update Office 2003 & some other updates.

I've recently been having problems opening some pages in Internet Explorer. Today for example I wanted to go to HP's support site. I got to the main site but when I clicked on Product Support the page wouldn't open and the message 'javascript:void(0)' appeared in the bottom left hand corner. It seems to be a fairly random problem as it only affects some websites.

I just purchased a brand new Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Desktop Computer. I replaced it with my old Windows XP IE8 and used Hotmail as my email client which I still want to use on my new Windows 7 Computer. However; when I click on the read mail icon in IE8, on my new Windows 7 PC, I get a popup error message saying "Cannot perform operation because the Default Mail Client is not properly installed."

Also, I cannot start 32 bit or regular internet explorer. I can open x64 internet explorer. I already try to install and uninstall wmp by using control panel .but, it is not working.

When moving or renaming files I frequently get an error messages informing me that "The action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program". This typically happens with the second or third folder I try to rename or move. Navigating away to another folder and then coming back or closing explorer and reopening it usually helps but on the second rename or move I'm back to square one. I've been reading and searching on the forum and this is what I have tried so far:stop the windows media player network sharing servicepause indexingtemporarily disable antivirus softwareused the system file checker to check integrityall to no avail. This is without a doubt the most annoying "bug" I have run into so far as it makes it virtually impossible to get anything done or organised. While I am working in my computer, reading email or just working in a software program, I periodically get this message that Windows Explorer has stopped working (and then an explanation that it is trying to fix it). Then it continues with another message about trying to fix it and it closes the program.I don't know why this is happening but a lot of times I am in Windows Live Mail.I have Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit (built by my computer store (Dnet Computers). I have already reported to Sony to but i heard their take their time but thats the one thing what i dont have at the moment so i know many people here know about that stuff to. So anyway. Some time ago SP1 launched for Windows 7. I installed but it but something went it wrong and it didn't install correcly and then i was forced to use System restore. Everything worked and i haven't used SP1 because i don't want to risk screwing up my computer before some important things, i got plenty of time later for that . The problem is after the system restore every time Vegas launches i get a error : Sony Vegas pro 10 an error occurred starting Vegas Pro Error 0x80070002 (message missing).

Is it possible for the program NOT to open the next message when deleting the current, opened message? If I delete the current opened message, I want the message window to close and go back to the Inbox. Currently, upon delete, the window opens to the next message from the Inbox.

I have read the Windows Mail tutorial but I have a problem.
I have used Take Ownership and removed Windows Live Mail 64 and installed Windows Mail 64 as per tutorial.
I have the shortcut on the desktop but when I try to open from there it says:-
Windows Mail could not be started. The application was unable to open the Windows Mail message store. Windows Mail was unable to locate its message database. If you’ve moved the database files to a new location, click okay to reset the database to that location.
I clicked okay and I now click on the hidden folder Widows Mail hoping that will do the trick, it doesn’t!
The next error message I get is:-
Windows Mail could not be started. The application was unable to open the Windows Mail message store.
The last error message I get is:-
Windows Mail could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialised.

When attempting to Forward an email, Outlook will open a recent message from the Sent Items folder, instead of opening the desired message in draft view to be forwarded. The message that Outlook decides to open is not related to the desired email thread.I have:
-Run the Microsoft Office Repair;
-Removed and re-installed MS Office;
-Run ScanPst on all Archives;
-Disabled cached exchange mode, cleared the cache, re-enabled;
-Removed additional personal IMAP email accounts from Outlook.
This PC is a Dell Optiplex 755 Small Form Factor with Core 2 Duo and 2GB RAM.About a month ago the Hard Drive was predicted to fail, so I created a Windows Image from the Windows backup utility, swapped in a new hard drive, and applied the Image.I tried searching the issue, but Google could not provide any help on such an obscure issue but with terms common to other problems.

Windows' explorer will not open on top. If I've got other applications open and I click on the 'My Computer' icon in the taskbar the Explorer window opens behind the window of the opened application.Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me, but I thought those windows used to open 'on top'.How do I restore the old behavior?

Whenever I try to open an Explorer window to manage files on my hard drive, the folder icon will appear on the task bar, but no Explorer window will be open. If I click on the folder icon on the task bar, instead of opening an Explorer window, the folder icon will appear in the system tray area. If I click on the folder icon in the system tray area, the folder will jump back to the task bar, and still no Explorer window will open.

Ok I have a server that I want to access from a windows pc, I can do it on a mac fine in finder but i can't find a way to open up the server in windows explorer!! If I type the server into windows explorer it opens it up in google chrome (my default browser) and it doesn't let me replace or add files and it looks like this:So is there any way I can open it up in windows explorer or any other way i can replace and add files?P.S.1.File Zilla only works for ftp while this is an http server.2.If I add a network location for this it says it's not a valid location when it is.

Whenever I try and access Windows Explorer nothing happens. It lights up for a bit like it has been selected but the window never actually opens. Task Manager indicates that Windows Explorer never actually opened. I need an answer to my problem soon because it is essential that I am able to manage my computers files.

so i am running the windows 7 home permium 64bit and i am having quite the problem. none of my programs will open. it seems like the olny thing that will open is internent explorer, paint, actual folders, those kinds of things. nothing else will open such as itunes, malwarebytes to scan for anything, not even flashplayer will open to watch Internet. i've tried starting it in safe mode and still nothing will open. ive run a diagnostic test to see if it was the hardware and everthing checked out okay. i have even tried sfc /scannow command - system file checker and that came back negative. so i am out of ideas.
