A week ago i turned my Win 7 HP Laptop into wireless router which is on EVDO 3G dial up using the windows (ICS) to connect my second Win 7 Dell laptop which was successful.Unfortunately, i ran out of data and now that i have recharged my Evdo 3G dial up modem hoping to continue browsing on both laptops, the Dell laptop which in this case is the client is showing connection signal but each time i tried to connect, this error will come up- Access type : No Internet access along with the dreaded yellow triangle alert on the system tray. Although when i plug the modem directly to the Dell laptop, it does browse smoothly. I have Google and read almost everything concerning this online including this forum but i have not come across a solution that is peculiar to mine.
I have already reported to Sony to but i heard their take their time but thats the one thing what i dont have at the moment so i know many people here know about that stuff to. So anyway. Some time ago SP1 launched for Windows 7. I installed but it but something went it wrong and it didn't install correcly and then i was forced to use System restore. Everything worked and i haven't used SP1 because i don't want to risk screwing up my computer before some important things, i got plenty of time later for that . The problem is after the system restore every time Vegas launches i get a error : Sony Vegas pro 10 an error occurred starting Vegas Pro Error 0x80070002 (message missing).
I have Windows 7, Live Mail. Mail with attachments come in with no problems, like photo attachments, but my mail will not go out with photos attached. They are not huge files. I get an error message "error/tasks" but then that screen freezes.
How do you establish an automatic VPN connection in Windows 7?I can establish the VPN connection but I have to click on it and "Connect" every time.I'm trying to establish an always on connection, like you could do with WinXP.
I recently got a new laptop, running Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit. I've been having connectivity issues with the internet, and it doesn't seem to be related to the router, as the same issue happens on different wireless networks. The majority of the time when I wake up my computer from sleep, it won't be automatically connecting to my home network, even though it's set to. When I try and connect, it does the whole "windows is taking an unusually long time to connect" deal. To solve it I usually go through troubleshoot. It doesn't find any problems (other than Hamachi IP issue, but this problem persisted before I downloaded Hamachi, and it doesn't seem to affect anything). Once troubleshoot finishes, it's usually about a minute or two later when it magically connects. Sometimes the internet disconnects right in the middle of me doing something, and to solve this I usually turn the switch on the front to turn off all wireless, wait a few seconds and turn it back on, and this usually solves the problem, for the time being.
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. I need to use wireless keyboard. When I use bluetooth device it can detect my keyboard but it is unable to establish the connection with keyboard. I can't understand what is the problem. The required driver is installed successfully.
I cannot establish a remote desktop connection between two computers in my home LAN running Windows 7.I have two computers in my home network, VAIO and SCALEO. On VAIO I installed Windows 7. On SCALEO I installed both Windows XP and Windows 7 as dual boot configuration. The Windows 7 version I am using is the free downloadable evaluation installation of Windows 7 Enterprise. Both installations are activated. When I run Windows XP on SCALEO (and Windows 7 on VAIO), I can establish RDC between both computers, both ways, without any problems. When I run Windows 7 on SCALEO (hence, on both machines), establishing RDC fails on either machine with the following message:"Your credentials did not work. The credentials that were used to connect to ... (VAIO/SCALEO) did not work. Please enter new credentials."I have followed all instructions in the tutorial of this forum how to set up a computer for remote desktop connection. I can see both machines in their network folders. I successfully established a homegroup where both machines share data. I am able to share folders on both machines and map them as network drives. I am able to copy data between both machines.
I do a lot of tech support for my family, however I'm a bit stumped a family member presented me with a problem on her hp netbook. She has verizon internet which is dial up and has a belkin router broadcasting the signal. Today however she was unable to connect. Usualy a box would pop up when she would connect to the network or a notification window would come up saying it is connecting to the dial connection. The window did have a box to check or un check asking to do it automaticaly, My question is how would i go about checking the box again and connecting the dial up connection?

Suddenly, my direct connected (Cat 5 to the broadband modem) computer is asking me to dial a connection. It no longer seems to know that it is simply connected. When I look at the devices tab, it shows Enabled for my network card and I have tried to reinstall the drivers.I dual boot with Ubuntu and Ubuntu is able to access the internet (and network) fine.
I have changed my graphic card (MSI N560GTX-TI) and new PSU (Corsair GS 700) and now my PC does NOT start, it gives me an error message: "error code biohd-2 warning no drives detected".Checked the cables, SATA ports, hardware diagnose, reset CMOS, removed the motherboard battery and nothing...My HD is a WD Caviar Green 2TB.
I am trying to access my work PC remotely after doing a fresh install of windows and receiving the below:"Remote desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:
1) Remote access to the server is not enabled 2) The remote computer is turned off 3) The remote computer is not available on the network
Make sure the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled."I have established some sort of VPN connection through the browser with work (sorry I am not very technically inclined, icon says "network connect" in the taskbar and shows I am conected), our techie guy said then just run Remote Desktop and type in my computer name and should connect, which it is not.

Hey everyone, I am having an issue with my computer right now. When I boot it up, I get an error message reading " Applaunch.exe - Application Error" and then under it, it reads: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application. Okay, so I click OK. After I click it, and around 5-30 seconds it pops back up again.
I have had my vista pc and my windows 7 (basic) net book setup to let me share files (through an Netgear DG834PN Route) for around 18 months with no problems.
However as of 3 days ago I can no longer do this and non of the network tools can fined or solve the problem. I can uses the internet though my rooter, see my vista pc on the network as well as the media streaming (windows one) thing.
I can also access my net book hard drive from my pc no problem and transfer/delete files as well?
When I do try to connect the following error message is given: "Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found"
P.s. I know windows 7 basic has not create home group ability, but it worked with the one I made on vista. I can not afford to upgrade my copy of windows 7 so that is totally out of the question.
In the past couple of days I have had the following WLM error message: The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Live Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. HP laptop: after log on, message says "problem starting C:ProgramDataWindowsPolicyProfile.dll" and can't do anything at that point but shut it down. Did full MRT scan which found nothing. McAfee says no problems.
I can't find anything on this and all 501/505 message posts are related to Windows XP not 7. But, I have a 501/505 error message in my Windows 7. Funny thing, it is a problem with all my browsers (IE and Firefox) and I cannot access any website with the www. prefix. Urls without this prefix works fine. The only thing I can think of is that I downloaded and installed a Java update yesterday. Did this cause the 501/505 error problem? I also tried following the steps recommended by Microsoft for XP [URL]
I recently just starting having this problem in which it states that a specified modual cannot be found when i enter onto desptop?. I have no clue where this came from and it is very annoying. I have attached an image at the bottom of what specifically it states.
