View 0 RepliesI have already reported to Sony to but i heard their take their time but thats the one thing what i dont have at the moment so i know many people here know about that stuff to. So anyway. Some time ago SP1 launched for Windows 7. I installed but it but something went it wrong and it didn't install correcly and then i was forced to use System restore. Everything worked and i haven't used SP1 because i don't want to risk screwing up my computer before some important things, i got plenty of time later for that . The problem is after the system restore every time Vegas launches i get a error : Sony Vegas pro 10 an error occurred starting Vegas Pro Error 0x80070002 (message missing).

Anyways I put in my Windows 7 7100 DVD, restart the comp... I hit a key to boot from CD, it tries to boot and comes up with a screen that says:
"Windows boot Manager"

And I cant get 6801 off this comp. It's now starting be become unstable, it will blue screen and restart on my often.
Anyone tell me what is wrong when this message is displayed, and how to fix it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't find anything on this and all 501/505 message posts are related to Windows XP not 7. But, I have a 501/505 error message in my Windows 7. Funny thing, it is a problem with all my browsers (IE and Firefox) and I cannot access any website with the www. prefix. Urls without this prefix works fine. The only thing I can think of is that I downloaded and installed a Java update yesterday. Did this cause the 501/505 error problem? I also tried following the steps recommended by Microsoft for XP

The box has an 'OK' button and an x in the top right, I just hit 'OK' and the box goes away and doesn't bug me, but I wish to have it stop, since it kinda worries me that it may be a larger problem that may slowly get bigger.
I keep getting a window with this error; when I close the window it simply reappears: "Application Error" Exception EListError in module en.cpl at 00013BF2, List index out of bounds (0)." It didn't appear after I tried opening any specific program, it just appeared randomly. Is this a virus? How do I stop this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to install Windows 7 on my computer but I get is this error message:
CDBOOT: Cannot boot from CD - Code: 5
The hard drive is totally clean, formatted and ready. I been able to install the program in other machines without problem. Even, it boots in an old Pentium III, 380Mb old computer that I have for testings.
I tried the installatio connecting the hard drive on other computer capable to run Windows 7 very well, but when I put the hard drive back it does not work neither.
Can somebody have a solution for this?
First off, some of my system specs;
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2 Ghz
Ati Radeon HD 6570 1GB Dedicated video memory
8GB DDR3 RAM
yesterday I bought Fallout: New Vegas off of Steam. It doesn't run for some reason, and so one of my attempted solutions was to run it straight from the .exe file. So I did, and when I do that, I get "C:Windowssystem32XINPUT1_3.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support." I know that xinput1_3.dll is a DirectX file, and I had already downloaded and updated my DirectX several times as an attempt to fix this problem, so I located the file in my system32 folder, moved it, and downloaded DirectX again (I did it using an older version, a newer version, and the redistributible version that comes with the game), and it replaces the file each time, but I still get the error message. So I figured that this is the reason the game won't run, and am looking for a way to fix this error. I have also already updated my video drivers, and my Windows is up to date.
In my haste to try out the Windows 8 preview, I made a new partition. However, When it warned me about making it a simple partition, I ignored it thinking that I could still use that for a data drive and use a third partition I had as my windows 8 partitionAfter rebooting, I received a missing OS error message no doubt being that all my partitions were turned simple instead of just the one I made. I then used the MSI Recovery which did nothing, but likely removed any and all files I had(no big deal though).Next, I tried my Google-fu to find an answer. It suggested to restore the Master Boot Record, but that did nothing once again. I used this tutorial, but in step 3, I didn't even see Windows mentioned. However, I did see my main OS partition and both other partitions on the disk, so I know it's not dead.
