I am currently facing some problems in loading webpages from browsers. I have tried every browsers with me like Firefox, IE and Chrome. But every time i enters an url, it loads the url( as i can see the title bar showing the website title) but the browser shows the blank page. So it does suggest that my internet connection is in good shape since the page title loads.

There is an website that pops up when ever i try to open any site from IE, mozilla firefox, or google chrome i.e licosearch.com it doesn't show the http:// in front as well, and before this unwanted page opens it shows on the lower bar (waiting for bongobongo.net). I have tried to block it from hosts but during the time of save it showsC:WindowsSystems32driversetchosts.txt You don't have the permission to save this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission.would you like to save in the My Documents folder instead?
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis afternoon, I first found that ie8 stopped working, but chrome was still good. So, I restart the machine. I cannot get access to any websites any more even my router's admin page.
I can ping Google etc without any problem. There are another two PCs behind my router and they have no problem. The problematic PC has no problem accessing files intranet, remote desktop, ftp. I tried toggling DHCP, changing IPs, Firewalls, no luck.
On startup, my browser has started automatically and attempted to open the page.[code]I have tried searching the internet to find out what this relates to but there seems to be nothing mentioned. The website itself doesn't seem to exist (I get the normal 'This webpage is not available' tab). I have checked all of my browser settings and cannot find anything that references it.I thought it may have been related to the Kana Reminder program that I have, but I have been using that for many months without this coming up before.Or somewhere else I can check? I'm thinking that maybe something is in my registry but I don't want to go fiddling around without knowing exactly what I'm doing.
View 9 Replies View Relatedi used to watch a lot of videos and tv shows online, and everything went great, videos loaded good, buffering was great, etc.. now i wanted to watch an episode of a show i missed on tv, so i went on putlocker and when i clicked play, it just kept doing this moving circle that means its loading. it kept doing this until i just gave up. after chrome didn't work i tried firefox, exact same problem. i've tried the same episode on the website movpod and exact same problem on both firefox and chrome, kept trying to load and fail...
now i reinstalled flash flayer, shockwave flash, etc., nothing. i tried same thing with different episodes and different shows , same problem. Internet videos loaded and worked perfectly, both 5 mins ones and 2hrs ones. i remember like a month and a half ago, after i stopped watching online, it kept said " shockwave flash crashed" so i got an answer where i got into somewhere with a list of a lot of things and i disabled something in shockwave flash that fixed the crashing problem but i never tried to watch online videos since then but i don't know how to enable that thing again.
Yesterday I was browsing the web on Yahoo search like I always do. And I was searching for a well known social web hosting forum.That I was visiting two weeks ago and had no problems getting onto that site then. I will not tell you the link as I do not want anyone else to click on it, as it is not safe.But I clicked on the link from Yahoo search engine but instead of putting me onto the website. I was redirected to a blank page,that said I have got viruses and it needed to scan my computer.And it just closed my web browser,without warning, and started scanning.I tried to stop it but I could not, so I quickly shut down my computer as this brings everything on my computer to a halt. And then I turned my computer back on again everything seemed normal.But I did a scan with Windows Defender and MRT-Malicious Software removal tool,just in case. And it never found any viruses or malware. And using system restore to put my computer back in time to BEFORE the event happened helped,I think.
But when I went round to two of my friends house,the same thing happened to them on their computer.When they tried to go onto that website. And I tried some computers in the Internet cafe. And the same thing happened,so it was not just my computer.But am I right in that the website I visited was trying to install,spyware,a virus or malware on my computer and someone elses computer as well?As I explain the website is a well known and genuine website that I have visited in the past,well two weeks ago in fact. But now it redirects to that page which seems IS trying to install spyware on an unsuspecting persons computer. And it is not just my computer was trying to do it on.So am I right was it spyware or a computer virus,that, that redirect was trying to install on my computer? And if so is there anything we can do about it?As I reported the website link to Google and Yahoo and they have not taken it off of the search engine.
So if I search in my internet browser, I get a blank page. The weird thing is if I restart the computer, it is works fine. If I leave it for an hour and come back, everything is rejected and I just get a blank page.

My internet usage is way below over, so I have a fine internet connection, yet when I try to watch videos on the internet, they will stop playing a couple seconds into the video and act as if that was the end of the video. if I try to make the video load, then it will just load forever and NEVER work. I also have issues when viewing images, some images are half loaded and look very strange (google images for example). Also, alot of th web pages I load up go straight to the page saying an error has occured. I have had windows seven for a few months and have no viruses (that I know of).

View 6 Replies View Relatedi have a dell optiplex 780 desktop computer with 160GB hard drive and 4GB ram and its a 64-bit OS , I had a windows 7 installed on it but once my couzin used it and he put on a password on thw windows and then he obviously forgot the password but anyway i couldn't get in to my user so i googled and tried some ways to crack the password but didn't work so i kept restarting my computer to try new passwords and at one point my computer just wont work after the windows logo , Now it just goes blank after the windows starting up logo , so i decided to do a new clean windows 7 (32-bit) but when i choose to boot it from the CD room and it asks me to press any button to boot from Cd or dvd and i do press but after loading the files i get a blank screen and it would just stop, i can hear the cd running and all but no display

The problem starting happening yesterday, when my computer froze up while I was surfing GameFAQs, forcing me to perform a hard reset. Ever since then, I cannot make it past the "Starting Windows" screen. Afterwards, instead of going to the "Loading" screen, my screen goes to blank, with a message that it cannot detect an input and my pc just hangs there.Since I could still bring up safe mode, I've tried the following things, with either no success, or Windows can't detect anything wrong:
1. Performed a System Restore to a day earlier.
2. Startup Repair didn't detect anything wrong.
3. WIndows Memory Diagnostic didn't detect anything wrong.
4. Performed an Error Check on my hard drive with the built-in Windows tool with auto-repair on.
5. I rolled back my video card drivers (Nvidia GTX 460) to a previous version.
I bought a hp laptop about a year ago and have been having a problem for the last couple days. I have windows 7 and when I go to start the laptop up it shows the HP screen then goes to the windows screen like its loading but then goes back to the hp logo and is stuck. I ran a HDD test and memory test those came back good. I tried to go into safe mode it acts like it loading then shows a blank screen. I try to do a system recovery and system restore the screen stays blank. I also took the battery out and press the power button down but that hasn't work. It's no longer under warrenty.

None of them are upgrade versions. I've tried installing on a fresh WD Raptor and an Intel G25 SSD. All other drives have been disconnected. I've moved my memory around and tried with one stick. I ran the Windows 7 compatibility test and didn't see anything that would cause this problem.I have searched the internet and have not been able to find a solution sonstalling Windows XP has never been a problem, just Windows 7, always with the same problem.This is one of the few times when I have not been able to look around a find an existing answer to a problem and I am stumped.
My computer has been running slow for months, but it is now getting to the point where it is almost unbearable. For example, just clicking on a folder to open it can take up to 15 seconds to respond. It also lags a ton during internet browsing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOne particular site that is not loading at all, on any browsers on my computer is [URL]. There are many more that fail to load as well. I did test these sites on my iPhone with no problems though. There are a handful of other sites that do open but do not load properly [missing images, ect.] I also thought that it might be malware but I installed & scanned my computer with four different programs which did not solve the problem. I'm guessing that it still may be some problem on the software side with settings but I can't seem to figure out where to look. BTW, I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials as my antivirus program for the past couple of days now. Prior to that I was using Avira but it seemed to be giving me problems so I uninstalled it and installed the Microsoft app.

After a long wait it will eventually display boot from cd/. When I boot from my windows dvd my os is not shown in system recovery. Intel Pentium P6200.I get an email from a website I have belonged to for many years, & when I click on the link it says waiting on website, then web site not found. There is a information link to click on and it says to check the web address and A DNS and the web address might be wrong.I can move over to my wife's PC access my account click on the email link without any problems. Also some pictures do not show up in emails only a red x. What should I do?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI built a website using MS Publisher 2007. Im using Filezilla to upload changes to the site. Everything works great. Except: When I use a computer which runs on Vista, and I upload the changes, all the changes are good on IE, Firefox and Chrome.
However (and heres the very strange part), when I upload the changes on a computer running Windows 7, the changes are all good on Firefox and Chrome but on IE, the menu bar down the left side doesnt show up which, of course, means that anyone viewing the site on IE cant go to other pages. Ive tried to upload the changes using another computer running Windows 7 to be sure it wasnt just my computer and the same thing happened.
There is a website I cannot connect to on my wifi connection, maybe it's my ip address? When I connect to my neighbors wifi I can connect to that site.I have tried start > run > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns.I have tried deleting all browsing data (cache cookies ect..)I have tried start > run > cmd > ipconfig /release and /renewAnd still nothing.Also I have tried unplugging my router for 5-10 mins to change my ip address and no luck there either.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have two computers connected to a cisco router, one is connected with an Ethernet cable, and the other through wifi.the thing is, recently, i cannot access one particular website "www,timesofmalta.com" with the computer connected through ethernet, but the wifi one is ok.The computer with this problem has a win 7 OS while the other(wifi) is on win XP.I already tried dns flush command, and reset the modem(router). When using tracert and ping i got all packect from ping and tracert found the webpage. if i use a web proxy such as (Url)i can access the website no problem. I contacted my ISP, which did noy give me much help, but told me its a problem i have in my computer. Contacted also the IT guys for this website and asked them if I was blacklisted but i was told that i was not.
