Kana Webhop Website Opening Browser On Startup Without Request
Nov 4, 2012
On startup, my browser has started automatically and attempted to open the page.[code]I have tried searching the internet to find out what this relates to but there seems to be nothing mentioned. The website itself doesn't seem to exist (I get the normal 'This webpage is not available' tab). I have checked all of my browser settings and cannot find anything that references it.I thought it may have been related to the Kana Reminder program that I have, but I have been using that for many months without this coming up before.Or somewhere else I can check? I'm thinking that maybe something is in my registry but I don't want to go fiddling around without knowing exactly what I'm doing.
I have windows 7 32bit operating system. There is an website that pops up when ever i try to open any site from IE, mozilla firefox, or google chrome i.e licosearch.com it doesn't show the http:// in front as well, and before this unwanted page opens it shows on the lower bar (waiting for bongobongo.net). I have tried to block it from hosts but during the time of save it showsC:WindowsSystems32driversetchosts.txt You don't have the permission to save this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission.would you like to save in the My Documents folder instead?
I am currently facing some problems in loading webpages from browsers. I have tried every browsers with me like Firefox, IE and Chrome. But every time i enters an url, it loads the url( as i can see the title bar showing the website title) but the browser shows the blank page. So it does suggest that my internet connection is in good shape since the page title loads.
This afternoon, I first found that ie8 stopped working, but chrome was still good. So, I restart the machine. I cannot get access to any websites any more even my router's admin page.
I can ping Google etc without any problem. There are another two PCs behind my router and they have no problem. The problematic PC has no problem accessing files intranet, remote desktop, ftp. I tried toggling DHCP, changing IPs, Firewalls, no luck.
The definetion of an EXPERT was "anyone more than 25 miles from home" not sure about that.If memory serves me I used to be able to open more than one copy of the Microsoft IE Browser, however am unable to do that now. Am I imagining thing that I did that before or is there a problem with that?
i have a fresh installed os windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. And everytime i open a browser cmd keeps on popping up with but instantly closes..
i have already did a Full System Scan with my Antivirus kaspersky 2012, Did a Full System Scan using MalwareByte's Anti-Malware, Did a Full System Scan using SuperAntiSpyware found some infected files but still the cmd popup thingy is still there heres a copy of my hijackthis log file..
Some sites like yahoomial.com are not getting opened in any of my browser. I have tried to disable my firewall, reinstalled the browser, cleaned the system everything but nothing works... it keeps on loading but never loads the page.... while from cmd i m able to ping the sites.
Is there a way to stop internet explorer or any browser from opening up by itself...? New computer is launching internet explorer on its own and multiple windows of the MSN homepage when I do attempt to browse. Is this problem caused by a virus, or a defect in the operating system? I have not downloaded any programs other than the manufacturers Windows Office., and my setting are still the "defaults"
I Just bought a new computer, had windows 7 ultimate 64 bit installed and some ususall programs, but I am getting bsod whenever I open any internet browser, such as internet explorer, chrome, or mozila. Then I tried to run it in safe mode with networking - still crashing, but in safe mode works perfectl. I'm thinking that the problem is some old wireless driver. This is the error msg I got:
Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033

Also, when I see the blue screen, I read that the driver "anodlwfx.sys" (System security filter, or something like that) is causing the problem for every bsod, I removed the file from windows folder, and computer worked perfectly, but I coudn't go to the internet, the used system restore, to restore that missing file.
I use Dell studio 1558 WIN7 x64 .And this problem showed up a couple of weeks ago. The problem is ,When I open any media file be it any video or mp3 on my laptop..the media player or any other player lets say realplayer crashes or gives and error saying "encountered some problem ".And at the same the same time can't play any video or audio on any of my browser and browser crashes . System Restore solves the problem and brings everything back to normal.BUT then again in a day or two,the problem comes back and I have to restore again.I have done System Restore 6 times so far.and yet again the problem has showed up again and not allowing me to do anything except simple browsing without any audio or video.
Upon opening the first browser window it opens to full-screen. Subsequent new browser windows open in the lower-right corner at 25% screen size.Q: is there a way to have every subsequent (i.e., after the first one) browser window open at full-screen size?
[code] When I select Japanese from the Task Bar language setting, anything typed in the Japanese language is incorrect. That is, the kana characters that appear are not the ones I typed. The Japanese keyboard appears to be incorrect.I have read many forums about this problem and can only guess the Win7 version I have is not compatible with the language pack I installed. Is there any chance there is some app available for download that will solve this problem? Perhaps I should also ask if there is a Japanese word processor, free version preferred, available I could use?My basic need is to type in kana, that is hiragana and katagana.
I recently have a problem, when my desktop are loaded, sudenly there's about 2-4 browser (ocur to mozilla, and chrome and i think coz it was default browser) than i scan whole computer, there's no virus and malware, always ocur when startup, and p.s i dont set mozilla into startup option
Every time I boot up the computer the screen resolution panel from the Control Panel is open on the desktop. I've checked in the startup folder and it's not on the list of things to open. I'm running multiple screens, 2 off a Nvidia GeForce 9600 and one off a EVGA USB connection. Have the latest drivers for both although I suspect the GeForce driver is pretty buggy.
Just wondered if there's a way to open 2 ports via UPnP (specifically 113 and 3389) on startup, as my silly router refuses to give my computer the same IP every time. Yes, I know I could set my IP as static locally, however, I move my computer to various locations to "share" things?
I have two computers that have win 7 x64 pro/ult. Recently, both computers, after typing in my poassword for login to windows, I get the desktop, icons, the hardware meter gadgets, then a windows pops up, near the top left corner, about a 1/6 of the screen size, and it immediately closes. It isn't there long enough for me to read anything in it, or even see if there is anything in it. Under start-up folder in the start menu, both computers do have logitech registration.
I click it, fill it out, and re start the computer. Still happens, and the start up folder still has logitech's product registration there. I complete it, restart the computer, and the window still shows up, then closes. Damn near instantly. Under start-up, the logitech thing is gone, so it is blank. But it still happens. Installing the webcam and using it for Logitech Vid, is the only thing I have changed recently on both computers. Also, windows 7 did have an update. I have no idea what to look for in regedit.
My computer has been running slow for months, but it is now getting to the point where it is almost unbearable. For example, just clicking on a folder to open it can take up to 15 seconds to respond. It also lags a ton during internet browsing.
I have FF 17. The mouse is freezing in facebook & I find the only escape to release the browser is reboot. The same FB page works fine in internet explorer.
I want to check my hard drive for errors, and go through: C/Properties/Tools/ Error Checking/Check Now , etc., but when I do this, I am told that I have to restart my system before it will run. But when I either simply Restart, or Shut Down then restart, the CHKDSK does not run. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.
I am using W7, home premium on 1 year old HP desktop computer.Recently, I was having trouble accessing videos from you tube, email and other sites. I had been using adobe flash player 9 and I was told to upgrade adobe flash and to get version 11. I installed version 11 but it would not play until I lowered my privacy settings from medium high to medium per instructions on Adobe. The flash player worked after that except now I am constantly getting the following message everytime I launch IE 9 and every time I go to a web site. The error message is always similar to this -"Privacy Alert The website (AZh).com has requested to save a file on your computer called a cookie. Do you want to allow?Allow or block"I am currently getting this message many times a day. No matter if I select block or allow, they keep coming back. This happens on all sites and often is unrelated to the site I am visiting.
I'm having trouble with my hard drive, it's a WD elements 320gb hard drive and when I try to put anything on it or take thing off it it give me this message saying it was unable to do it because of an unexpected error "error 0x8007045D: the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error" I have some important files on this hard drive.
Basically.. I have a orange LED light that blinks like crazy when I'm downloading something.. but what's wierd is.. Once I've finished the download, Sometimes.. It just keeps blinking forever!
That tells me that it's downloading from somewhere and I can't tell from where exactly.. Luckily.. Uninstalling the wireless driver & reinstalling it solves the problem but it tends to come back eventually..
So what I am requesting from you fine people here @ SevenForums is for some type of Internet Bandwidth Monitor which I can use to see where my laptop is downloading from & hopefully stop it completely so that I may use my broadband speed for something more.. For me & less for what I don't want.
I am using FreeAgent Go 5oo GB , when I try safely remove FreeAgent Go always show the error massage " Seagate FreeAgent Go USB device can not be uninstalled right now because the system request system restart " and I have to restart every time.I have already tried the following :
1. Close all application and end recent file process.
2. Check " don't remove file to the recycle bin, remove file immediately when delete" in the recycle bin.
3. Disable write caching on the device in devive property "policy" tab.
4. Using third party sync.exe to flushes disk buffers together with HotSwap!.exe yet still shown the same error massage.
I run a web server from my laptop, and my IP address (location) gets updated via DynDNS.org servers. My notebook is always behind a NAT-configured LAN, and I have configured the router firewall to pass port 80 service requests to my IP (usually 192.168.x.2, where x is maybe 0 or 1 or whatever.I use NetSetMan for location based setting).the DHCP server is configured to stay away from static addresses in the private LAN.Most routers have their own port 80 service, the configuration interface, accessible by hosts inside the LAN.I don't have a problem with port 80 service requests coming from the WAN getting passed to 192.168.x.2 host running the web server.BUT, users in the 192.168.x subnet requesting service from within the LAN do NOT get delivered the web page from host 192.168.x.2, but instead the router's configuration interface, if they use the host NAME. Of course, if they use the host IP address, they get the content. What is happening of course is that if anyone uses url..., it goes to DynDNS.org where the IP is resolved to the address a.b.c.d, the WAN IP address of the router I am currently connected to. So the http client bundles the packet to the destination a.b.c.d:80.The users INSIDE the LAN get the router configuration interface web page when they type in a.b.c.d:80, but not users OUTSIDE the LAN (in that WAN).
I use a windows 7 OS and on january 25, 2013 my computer possibly downloaded a virus or something. I know my way around the computer on an intermediate level but cannot find any strange exe files. I have nortons and it did not stop this download. I think my files are on the computer since 300GB is still being used on my harddrive.
if i have posted inthe wrong section in apologis, I am using MSN Live 2011 When i get asked for Remote assitance my client always disconnects and then says reconnecting in 59 seconds. The end requesting it gets the pass pages etc but by the time they put it in i have dicsonnected and reconnected by which time the seesion is invalid, I have the correct ports open and also tried all the advice i can see and find online.
