I am using Windows Mail with OS Vista home premium and printing on a Samsung CLX-3175FN printer. When I print e-mail messages, the print of the message is quite small, however, the header (From, To, Sent, and Subject) prints normally. How can I change this so that my printer prints what is displayed By the way, the printer prints the appropiate size in Microsoft Word.
View 4 RepliesI keep getting 42 messages trying to come through and they get stuck on message 28. I then get a message saying 'client connected' and I can never retrieve the other messages. I then cannot delete the first 27 messages. Do I have a virus or something or what is happening?

The remain on the ATT Yahoo server and when I try to forward the message to myself, they disappear again. The messages do not appear in the deleted items folder or in my spam folder. I have run a virus scan with no apparent virus.

This is approx the 3rd or 4th time that it happened and I am getting concerned about the security of my account. I am so embarrassed to all my contacts because they are receiving e-mails which are actually not from me. As this e-mail I use is the enterprise e-mail, I need it to work all the time I click in "send/recieve messages" and don't need it to work "when it decides to" and so, most of the times, I can't use the Windows Mail, but the site where I registered my e-mail in, which doesn't have all the resources the Windows Mail does. Let it be known that if you purchase the above OS, you will not be able to transfer any of your e-mail messages or contacts from your old 32 bit system to the new 64 bit system. Even if you attempt to download Outlook Express, it is 32 bit and will not download and instal, therefore, you can't imnport your Outlook files into Outlook Express to convert their file extension to something compatible with Windows Mail, which is the new e-mail program.
OH, before I forget, I want to thank Microsoft for the laser/wireless mouse and keyboard configuration. My Device Manager does not recognize the keyboard as a wireless keyboard, instead it ;ists it as a "HID", (Human Input Device", or dome crap like that, and my mouse and keyboard continually freeze.
I recently moved and after setting up my computer, I am suddenly no longer able to send messages through windows mail. i haven't had problems with it before and find it odd that all of a sudden it is sending me an error message. I've used the same method in viewing them for quite some time now, but using the same method after getting this new laptop with vista installed isn't showing me the files. 1. Auto complete only works when it feels like it.
2. Cant delete contacts.
3. Cant send messages to newgroups, I am sure the list goes on and on...
Recently when logging on to my e-mail account I lost all my saved messages, the only one left were in the inbox. Now every time I log on Windows Mail generates a "Recovered Messages" folder filled with lots of empty folders and no messages.

Under earlier versions you had the option of keeping messages in the delete folder when existing. I can't find that option in the current version of Windows Mail.

*My problem is when printing email the far left edge of the copy (type) does not print. The From: To: Cc: are missing the left half of the F, T and C letters all the way down the page as well. It's as if the page is not centered in the print area.*
*Under the print preferences I have tried "print to fit" and all the options to get that left edge to come out. This does not happen on Word docs however there is a left margin set on those.

(some sort of error message about C:/users/username/appdata/local/temp/low/ and some files therein.) What are these messages and how can I get rid of them? There are several thousand of them on my wife's computer and I don't want to get that kind of clutter on mine.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAm sending messages that are not being received - it is not every message, and not to the same person (and no message that it could not be delivered!). I normally find out when I have not received an cknowledgement, or a reply, and I ring to find out why.
Second problem is that not all messages appear in the "sent" folder. Seems to be a random problem - not address related (ie messages sent to the same organisation - some appear in the sent folder, some do not).
Am using Vista Home Premium, with Avast.
