I can send e-mails and they go through as well as the cc's but when i try to send an e-mail to myself mmcfaddon@microsoft.com i get allkinds of error messages from that account saying it didn't go through. So,what is up?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI configured the e-mail correctly and it recieves and sends messages, therefore, it doesn't work all the time. Only some times. As this e-mail I use is the enterprise e-mail, I need it to work all the time I click in "send/recieve messages" and don't need it to work "when it decides to" and so, most of the times, I can't use the Windows Mail, but the site where I registered my e-mail in, which doesn't have all the resources the Windows Mail does. It works in random times... Last Friday, I started working at 8:30 am and
the messages only were recieved at 5:00 pm. So, I'd like to know... What's going on?
I recently moved and after setting up my computer, I am suddenly no longer able to send messages through windows mail. i haven't had problems with it before and find it odd that all of a sudden it is sending me an error message. I'm not sure if I accidentally changed a setting or something. the error message I am receiving when trying to send e-mails is:

Everybody seems to be having the same problems in windows mail, so my question is when will microsoft release the patch to fix the problems.
1. Auto complete only works when it feels like it.
2. Cant delete contacts.
3. Cant send messages to newgroups, I am sure the list goes on and on...
I try to send mail from my laptop but it displays this message: a server error occurred and your mail could not be sent (102) when i log on from any other computer it seems to work and let me send mail. i tried restoring my computer and changing browsers but still same error message occurs.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently added another identity to my server and was told to put the incoming pop3 as pop3.xtra.co.nz port 995 and the outgoing SMTP as send.xtra.co.nz (use 554?) port 465 and enable SMTP server authentication. I put the pop3 and SMTP info in and forgot to enter the different ports, voila i got my mail but couldnt send any. So i went in and put the ports in, voila couldnt send or receive. After going to the event view,I saw this regarding San Andreas. I know many have the cracked version of the game but I can assure you that my copy is 100% legit,I will post a pic just in case you want proof. Upon installation of Windows Home Premium 64 bit, I receive blue screen error messages. Usually they happen when I am trying to open a file, or if I am installing updates for anything. It either goes to a blue screen, or it will completely freeze, and I'll have to reboot. Sometimes upon rebooting, my computer will get stuck in between the loading screens for Vista, it will get past the Microsoft Corporation loading bar, but get stuck on a black screen before the vista symbol shows up. I have some friends that think its my RAM, because I have had 2 sticks of ram in, totaling 4gb, and others think its the Video card. below is a list of all my components.
View 7 Replies View RelatedVista 64 Home Premium. Woke to find my computer had rebooted itself during the night and Windows failed to restart. Didn't catch the error code, but the message said if Windows won't restart, insert startup disc and do a repair. That is what I ended up doing as Windows simply wouldn't start up. Anyway, repair worked but my desktop looks like from a week ago. The desktop icons for Thunderbird and a couple of other recently installed programs are no longer there. Their program folders, however, are still in the Program Files folder but with no .exe file. Is there a way to repair the programs so that they are in sync with my current windows install?
This is a new machine recently purchased from a popular online vendor. They installed Vista. I've only had it two weeks and have kept it in pristine condition and it has been working fine....until now. I think Vista tanked overnight during an update. I'm new to Vista, has this happened to others?
I use Windows mail. When I send messages using scripts, my graphics sometimes do not embed. This happens randomly.I have changed my Interent Explorer settings. I turned off my antivurs program Avast to see if this helps. I also turned off "Defender" and any thing that looks like a firewall.But The problem persists. It works about 70% of the time. Downloading incoming mail is not a problem, and I obviously can post to newsgroups. Although this is a new problem, I turned off Norton's checking of outgoing mail - no change. Verizon had us change to Port 587 last year so that's not the issue either. WM does send e-mail from my desktop so apparently the problem is specific to the laptop.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm using Windows Live Mail with Windows Vista and a Hotmail account. I'm getting these emails from postmaster@mail.hotmail.com and they are driving me crazy because I'm getting hundreds of them. I never even tried to send an email to these people, so I have no idea why I'm getting these emails. I thought I might have a virus or something, but I ran Mcafee, Spybot and Ad-aware and come up with nothing. It seems to only happy when I'm running Windows Live Mail and I don't get the emails when I'm not running it.
