Email messages have been stuck in my Outbox since Thursday morning. When I try to send/receive messages, new emails come to my inbox but no messages ever get sent. I've tried moving them to drafts, then reopening them and sending, but nothing has been successful.
When I am away from my cable provider's broadband, I cannot send email from windows mail in vista. It remains unsent in the outbox. But I can receive mail in the inbox. Below is the error when I click on the send all button: The connection to the server has failed. Thought it was all fixed. Changed to CA antivirus. I'm now able to create and send messages, but can't reply or forward or send attachment. Do I need to download the file that fixes messages stuck in the outbox? The symptoms described on the support page are accurate, except I am able to move messages from my outbox to drafts folder and I can delete messages from my outbox. Error message:

I have a msg stuck in my outbox, it never sent for some reason and i cant delete, move or do anything with it. i have recently changed service providers. so evertime i now go into windows mail it comes up saying... one or more messages in your Outbox does not have a valid account specified. Would you like to use your defult account to send this message? even if i hit yes..or even no..it does nothing ad keeps poping up with that when i get into windows mail or try to send a message.
i have an email stuck in my outbox, I can't remove it, I can't send it, my other gmail accounts work fine. Now i cannot send any mail from that specif account, but I can receive. I tried changing the "from" address to another gmail account listed on my Windows Mail send that email but it does not want to send it

When using Windows Mail, after I try to send an email, it remains in my outbox until I close down the Windows Mail. When I reopen Windows Mail, the message has moved to the sent folder, but is there a way I can send a mail without having to shut-down the program everytime? My status is showing as 'Working Online' and I have tried clicking the 'Send and Receive' but this doesnt resolve the problem.
When I look for mail, and I get the message and the beep "2 messages" they're not always there! I'm really loosing email! I'm using this program for months now, no problem, but since about a week it's a nightmare. So unreliable! My send-messages don't always appear in the outbox.
Ive read many discussion on this...and found out about the download which I did and it says "Update does not apply to your system" Someone else had this same exact problem named Marie...But, I couldnt find where it said how to fix the problem...I use the 32 download, can I try the other one ? My computer is 32 byts I found that on the computer..Then also tried to change that 25 to the 587 ( as I read of here also ) and now the message says " one or more messages in your outbox do not have a valid acct.specified would you like to use your default acct to send messages...I have deleted this acct. and started over many times and still end up with the same results..

I cleared out my outbox, restarted windows mail, no luck. Turned Mcafee off for emails,restarted windows mail no luck.
I just went into my Windows mail to verify that something was sent and ALL my sent messages are gone. Does anyone know what would have caused this or how to get them back?
WindowsMail keeps trying to compress the messages but cannot. I keep getting the "other ap using the application" or something similar. How do I compact the messages? Nothing else was using the mail program.
In my windows mail i can not list 'all messages' any more. I can read new messages only when hide the read ones. I can find all messages via search but it is very inconvenient.
I configured the e-mail correctly and it recieves and sends messages, therefore, it doesn't work all the time. Only some times. As this e-mail I use is the enterprise e-mail, I need it to work all the time I click in "send/recieve messages" and don't need it to work "when it decides to" and so, most of the times, I can't use the Windows Mail, but the site where I registered my e-mail in, which doesn't have all the resources the Windows Mail does. It works in random times... Last Friday, I started working at 8:30 am and the messages only were recieved at 5:00 pm. So, I'd like to know... What's going on?
I recently moved and after setting up my computer, I am suddenly no longer able to send messages through windows mail. i haven't had problems with it before and find it odd that all of a sudden it is sending me an error message. my windows mail stopped sending messages a few days ago. still recieves. tried to delete and add account again but still won't work. same account works on my laptop. both have vista.
using this Windows Mail program to read messages in the MS bases. Where in the world is the internet files/cache/cookies stored now anyway? I've used the same method in viewing them for quite some time now, but using the same method after getting this new laptop with vista installed isn't showing me the files. I suppose that the files could be being handled differently now, but I'm not sure. So are these files STILL stored/accessed the same way?
Everybody seems to be having the same problems in windows mail, so my question is when will microsoft release the patch to fix the problems. 1. Auto complete only works when it feels like it. 2. Cant delete contacts. 3. Cant send messages to newgroups, I am sure the list goes on and on...
Recently when logging on to my e-mail account I lost all my saved messages, the only one left were in the inbox. Now every time I log on Windows Mail generates a "Recovered Messages" folder filled with lots of empty folders and no messages.
I'm using Windows Mail for my emails. When I exit the program, all the messages in the Delete Folder are permanently deleted. Under earlier versions you had the option of keeping messages in the delete folder when existing. I can't find that option in the current version of Windows Mail.
When I create an email and press send, instead of going out it goes straight to my outbox. I can then not send the message from my outbox, I have checked the account info and the server details look correct. This has just happened recently, the email account has been working fine previously so not sure what has happened.
