Dec 21, 2008every time put uo internet explorer i get this up internet explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled but when i check in manager add-ons thay are all enabled.

Internet Explorer Not Working / Wouldn't Open / No Windows Based Functions Used Explorer Interface Would Work
Apr 4, 2008I recently had a problem on my computer where Internet explorer was not working and would'nt open, and no windows based functions that used the explorer interface would work... So i downloaded the IE7 install package on my other computer and burned to disk to install. everything was going along fine, and when prompted to restart to finsih the installation i did so..... that is when "it" hit the fan.

Like To Install Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 / Does Not Work
May 11, 2006I would like to install Internet Explorer 7 beta 2, and it does not work. So I did what they said in troubleshooting (use regmon to find a key that says "access denied" So I did that and found that HKCR/mailto is the problem. So I go into the registry and when I click on it I get an a message saying there was an error opening the key. I try change the permissions, and again I get an error message. Then I even try to delete it (I have a copy from another system to install) and again I get an error message. What can I do to fix this problem?

Nslookup works, but DNScache is empty (DNScache enabled).No traffic from host to resolve name detected on the modem firewall. Oct 19, 2005daughter has an "emachine" (I know, but it's too late) with XP. Son opened a "cheats" from Google and now they can't open internet explorer at all. Just gives us the "sorry, we'll send error report." They can right click on the "explorer" icon and open by "run as" but they can't download anything, or open new pages (assuming the other pages are stored). They play a game called Ragnarok(sp??) and that may have something to do with it, not sure. Anyway, I've checked internet connections and she is enabled, I've run Winsock and that doesn't help, even loaded Foxfire browser to bypass, but it won't open either, just gives me the same message. We even updated with the XP2, still nothing

Sep 5, 2005When I start up my computer it will not respond to anything that has to do with my keyboard and mouse. I couldn't figure out why, I mean they came with my computer. The mouse is not even optical and it has a cord. I tried booting into safemode but since the keyboard doesn't work I couldn't. I tried booting from a disk but I have to be able to press any key to be able to do that. I couldn't log onto the accounts because that requires both a mouse and a keyboard. I tried using a different and keyboard that plug into the same ports, which resulted in the same thing. So I used a keyboard for a playstation 2 because it uses USB and I used a mouse I found that hooks up to USB as well. They work fine. However, I want the PS/2 ports to work because I better things to be taking up my usb ports.

Jan 27, 2009My computer doesn't recognize USB ports upon startup. When I turn it on, it says Floppy diskette seek failure, and I have to press F1 to continue or F2. It's always said that... and my mouse lights up and my key board lights up fine... but when I press F1 and it goes to the Windows loading screen, the lights powers off and the keyboard doesn't work.. and I can't use my mouse or keyboard when it reaches my login screen.

Start Puter First The Mouse Dont Work Any More
Oct 8, 2006when I try to start puter first the mouse dont work any more. I had a Logitech MX 510. IT lights up but wont work. Installed a Radio shack mouse worked for a little it. Then it shuts down too. I try to start computer and tap on F8 key or DEL key sometimes it works an sometimes not if it works I am good for a little bit. 15min to 30 min then lock up. If i get into safe mode its ok until about the same 15min to 30 min. If F8 and DEL keys dont work It starts the process and then gets to floppy disk and fails. It say Floppy Disk Fail (40). I have checked and the fans are working and thats not a problem Hard drives work and 1.5 GB ram and thats ok too. So stumped and wondering if I can fix it or not.

Nov 18, 2008After a recent automatic software update, the sound on my computer stopped working. When I go to the device manager, it's telling me that no audio device is installed and I can't seem to find it or how to reinstall it (I do not have the disk that came with the computer). However, my main concerns are the USB ports and the Plug and Play feature. These were working fine, but now nothing happens when I plug in a USB device. There is power going to the USB ports, however, the system doesn't seem to recognize that I have plugged something in. I've tried uninstalling the drivers and restarting the system, and the drivers were correctly reinstalled but it is still not finding any new device that I plug in. System restore isn't working either.

When using wireless usb, I key in code and says I am connected and green lights show, but when pulling up explorer, it says no connected?
