Getting Language Pack For Battle For Middle Earth Game?
Jul 26, 2005I was given a Thai version of Battle for Middle Earth from a friend who bought it there when he was overseas.the game is an original version but the problem is he didnt realise it was a Thai version where evrything was in the Thai language even the manual. does anyone know where i could get an english language pack to change the language from Thai to english or how to change the language to english?

Oct 2, 2006I just finished putting together my new computer and I'm excited to test it out on a new game. All i have right now is WarCraft III and UT2004.I want another first person shooter, as ut2004 isn't pushing my computer at all. Oct 7, 2005I went to play Half-Life 2 last night, just as I do any other time. It informed me that there was an upgrade for my ATI Radeon 9550 video card and wouldn't let me proceed without it. Really wanting to play, I went and installed the update. After rebooting after the update, I noticed something. Some applications (i.e. Skype, MSN, etc.) weren't working properly. Then, I started getting random shutdowns.
I was able to boot into Safe Mode and do a System Restore back to before I installed the new driver. This did not solve the problem. So I called ATI, and they instructed me to uninstall the ATI Drivers and reinstall it without Catalyst. So I did, and it worked... For about an hour. My computer then rebooted and now refuses to boot, safe mode, debug mode, normal or otherwise.

I wanted to play it again, so when I went to install it it gave me the blue screen. So I have a AMD Athlon XP 2200+ processor running on a Gigabyte mobo (I can get the model no. if needed) and a BFG GeForce 5500 AGP card. I have 2 Crucial DDR-333 512M sticks and a WD 80GB SATA drive.Now when I run Windows and basic apps(IE, Outlook, Firefox, etc) But when I run a few games like World of Warcraft, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth, etc. Occasionally it will just hang the PC. No error, just looping sound and freeze frame.
Installing Acting Weird - Installing Windows Server 2003
Dec 20, 2006I install Server 2003 Standard SP1 downloaded and installed on a PII 400, 256Mb RAM with IIS, ASP.Net 2.0, SQL server 2000 SP4, Mysql 5, and PHP5, and all without a single hitch...too good to be true. I went ahead and tried on what will be my server PIII600, 512 MB RAM, First try, Server 2003 couldn't find a file when installing, retried and it worked. Downloaded SP1 and when I was extracting it said "file is corrupt", downloaded 4 more times with same result. reformatted and reinstalled 5 more times and cannot get past "file is corrupt" on SP1 and sometimes extracting the .Net 2.0 installer got the same error. I swap all hardware with PC from first try (except RAM, Mobo, CPU, CDROM) with no change. Win98 and XP installed fine on the second PC just can't get server 2003

Mar 7, 2008I've had this problem for a couple of days. Every time I start a game like portal or team fortress 2 svchost.exe starts eating cpu. This goes on for a couple of minutes and suddenly svchost goes back to normal cpu usage.
I have 7 different svchost.exe processes in my task manager, 3 system, 2 local service and 2 network service.
I've downloaded process explorer and the svchost that takes all the cpu has the PID 1412, dunno if that info makes any difference but sounds important.
I've searched for svchost.exe to see if there are any more that could be possible viruses but i only found the one in /windows/system32/
I have no idea what could be causing this problem... Also, I apologize if there already is a solution for this in another topic. Didn't find any when I searched.
Can't Delete Downloaded Game Files
Oct 3, 2010I downloaded some computer game files and now I am sorry and want to delete them but can't find the files that support them. The shortcut icons appear only on the fifth line of the Mozilla and I.E. browzer home pages. The address line shows the files at http://retrogamer.iwon.com/home.jhtml?tbdd=9197. The files do not appear under C: anywhere and the search function and Control Panel add/remove can't locate them either.

Jun 25, 2006A few months ago I built a system for a friend of mine. I had the system running stable @ 2.4 GHz (memory on a 5/4 divider, if I remeber correctly) for a week before I delivered it to him. By stable I mean dual prime overnight, memtest, and hours of COD2 without crashing. Now he has had it for a few months and he is reporting that randomly it will completely shutdown. He primarily uses it to play WoW and so far that is the only time it has crashed. It has not crashed during any other activity but he really doesn't use it for much else. It will usually crash 5 minutes into game play and after a restart it will be stable for the rest of the day. Ocassionally it will crash a few hours into game play. When the behavior first started it would BSOD. Now it just turns off with no warning. After restart it works fine. When it shuts down the standby LED on the MB remains lit but the DRAM power LED does not. I have updated the Graphics drivers to the latest 90 series beta drivers. That did not affect the problem.
