Some days before I installed Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 for Windows XP-SP2. But I didnt feel secure with the changes and decided to uninstall it. But a problem comes. When I want to close the P C, I do as always: Click Start, Close, Shut Down. But, the P C instead of closing restarts. My Windows XP-SP2 is installed on Portuguese.
View 8 RepliesEvery time I go to yahoo mail I have to login even when I chose to be remembered.In another sports forum now I cant post: server allways ask me to login again, and again, , , .At my bank place I can't make operations any longer.It seems IE7 some how cant manage cookies, I have change security leves from high to none without results, moved privacy settings also but nothing, nada!I don't feel there is something especial about IE7, harded to work from IE history and favorites file At MSN feedback havent find any cure or workaround so I'm going to switch back to IE6.01.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI can't double click on my IE icon with out gettign a send to MS error. Same error happens when i go to start Explorer but i can go to my computer or somethign liek that and use that as a browser but only thing is if i click on somethign liek a link for say my explorer will then crash and once again i would be confronted by a send to MS error. Heres a bit of what the error says: AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: hydradmh.dll. ModVer: 3.21.0.2105 Offset: 00003c02.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen you double click a Drive or program it loads or starts, a mouse right click tells me that it will open search only, and that is what it does. Open and explore is farther down the list and search is on top. In my 25+ years I've never seen this. Thanks, John

I have a PC which boots up okay and I can double click on any icon, they open and when I minimise them they minimise. When I start Internet Explorer it all works fine with other icons maximising and minimising as they should. However when I close Internet Explorer I can't click on any icons and when I select them from the Start, Programs menu they start but won't minimise.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed SP2 after a re-format today. And everything was going smooth at start-up. Then I started noticing that my icons weren't coming up, and my start button was missing! Well I opened task manager and manually started explorer.exe and it came up for 2 seconds and then terminated. I tried again and again, and it never worked. So I did a ton of Spyware and virus scans. I got rid everything, but it still isn't working! I just re-formatted not even 48 hours ago, I don't want to do it again. Oh yeah, and I tried to repair XP with my OS CD, no luck.

I'm experiencing problems with Internet explorer which cannot open full pages and shows error in script (I think that's what it is). It opens the top of the page but not the content or it just indicates that it cannot find the server or the page.
I recently 'upgraded' the family computer (running XP pro) with SP2.we've had a number of problems with programs no longer working after the upgrade. More specifically, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Norton, and HP Precisionscan Pro 3.1 (to name a few) are causing us grief.Outlook will load, but as soon as you try and view a new message, the program crashes.Internet Explorer will open, but immediately closes before any page can load. (I've installed Firefox in the meantime, so I'm sure it's not the internet connection).

Now there is an icon there, but I get all the options if you were to right click on IE on your desktop.My work has changed to a new program. View 6 Replies View RelatedI was on Firefox, which didn't have flash, so i decided to switch to Internet explorer, when i opened the program, my screen froze and i could not click on anything, it began to flash randomly, I couldn't do anything so i shut down the computer by the power button. I restarted the computer everything still working, and went back into Internet explorer 8 to see if it was still doing it. Yet again it happened and I powered down. When i started it again, the bios screen had small faint lines going though it in some places it continued to boot and got to a blue screen, and then nothing happens.

When I go to start then click on turn off computer the shut down box never comes up. I end up having to push the power button to turn it off. I know this will eventually do harm is there anything I can do besides reformatting. I have all the disk to reformat, but would rather not if I can get this fixed.My hard drive crashed last year, it was an 80 gig, I replaced it with a 300 gig. Haven't had any problems until last week after I downloaded adobe.
