Blue Screen Error System Service Exception Error
Dec 21, 2011I am having difficulty with drivers on my Acer Aspire 5253 system using Win 7. It is a couple months old. Within the last month, I have been getting random blue screen of death error messages in which the computer shuts down to prevent damage. The computer boots up fine without any problems. The blue screen that I see contains the same information each time.

In the morning when I switched on my laptop there is no display. So I attached an external monitor. When I put the windows 7 dvd, the hp logo comes and then there is a dash ( I dont get the press any key to boot) and then I get "Setup is starting services" error. When I press Ok. The same procedure is repeated.

May 17, 2011When I try to install W7SP1, I get an error message after it tries to install after restarting after having downloaded it in Windows Update. It's error code 0x800f0826. IT used to be 0x80071a9, but I fixed that I think.
Note: My laptop does not have a built in disc reader, because of its design, nor did it come with any W7 CD's.

I ran system restore and was able to get the desk top screen, however, nothing responded and in an attempt to shut down, I had to hit control/alt/del which now has me stuck in Logging off.....

Feb 23, 2011I installed Service Pack 1 for Windows 7. After it rebooted, on the Windows 7 loading screen it shows "Applying update operation XXXX of XXXX". After a certain number it says "Error applying operation XXXX of XXXX", and then the system proceeds to hang on that screen, meaning that I am unable to access Windows. I try mashing F8 for my life when resetting the computer, but I never get a list of boot options, so I cannot get into Safe Mode or even try the computer's Last Known Good Configuration. The edition of this version of Windows 7 is 64 bit Ultimate. The laptop I am using is also 64 bit Ultimate.
Another thing I want to point out is that both of these computers have been taking an incredibly long time (near 12 hours at this point) trying to download and install Service Pack 1. There is no spyware or anything running in the background. I am fearing that I might get the same error on this machine but I have taken the liberty of creating a System Restore point in the event it happens. I have two other Windows 7 machines in the house (32 bit Professional and 64 bit Home Premium), and both of them installed Service Pack 1 without any kind of problem, and both of those computers installed them rather quickly.

May 7, 2012I have tried to install this update six times today (07/05/12) after it was flagged as an important update this morning. Looking at my update history it also failed to instal on the 18th October last year but it has not bothered me since and i have not noticed it until now. Of the seven attempts I had the following error codes from earliest to latest : 800B0100, 80246007, 80010108, 8024200D, 8024200D, 8024200D, 8024200D. I have followed advice from MS running KB947821 and FIX IT also disabled my Norton 360 firewalls and auto protect but to no avail. Also I do not have a DVD with Windows 7 as it was not supplied with my PC and I don't want to restore my computer and lose all my installed software.

Windows 7 - Volume Shadow Copy Service Component Encountered Unexpected Error
Apr 17, 2012I have a Windows 7 Home premium x64 OS and it has been giving me more and more problems. I've ran virus scan on AVG and Windows security and came up with nothing. I've tried msconfig and disabling all non-windows services from starting and still nothing has worked! Windows Live ID Sign in use to start after I had to manually start it (even though it was set for automatic), and now it won't even start at all, giving me the error it didn't respond in a timely fashion. My windows task manager doesn't respond, and my system restore gives me an error saying "A volume shadow copy service component encountered an unexpected error".
The problem seemed to start when my web browser would start to not load pages. Then my printer wouldn't work because the "printer spool" service wouldn't start, then of course the hardware and devices in the control panel wouldn't load. After resolving that by manually starting the bluetooth service, the Task Manager stopped working, and the "printer spool" service failed and would not stay started. My start up speed has seemed to have hit a brick wall as well, I've ran start-up repair to no avail. This is my build as copied from newegg.com:

This computer was quick as can be when I built it, and had had no problem with it whatsoever until now. I can't think of any program that may be messing with it, I've gone through my installed programs and startup programs and nothing to me is out of the ordinary.

Jul 2, 2009i cant start windows audio and windows audio input services (thus getting no sound) when i try and start the latter i get error message
the RPC server is unavailable
so i try to look for that service
(edit ...all ^these services are set to start automaticly)
and closes thing to it was RPC Endpoint mapper
which is already started
i go to control panel/hardware and sound/sound
and says
would you like to enable windows audio service
i click yes but fcuk all happens except
the playback/recording /sounds/communication window opens
but says no audio devices are installed what i know is BS.
