After reboot my computer it show up original(Chinese language).Than I check my computer is show currently Display:English I try to switch to english again but can't find English language pack in my computer.Than I download it again and reinstall again.during install get a error code
8007002.I have tried the Microsoft suggested solution. (deleting Software Distribution, somthing like that)but still not work.
When I try to install W7SP1, I get an error message after it tries to install after restarting after having downloaded it in Windows Update. It's error code 0x800f0826. IT used to be 0x80071a9, but I fixed that I think.
Note: My laptop does not have a built in disc reader, because of its design, nor did it come with any W7 CD's.
I have tried to install this update six times today (07/05/12) after it was flagged as an important update this morning. Looking at my update history it also failed to instal on the 18th October last year but it has not bothered me since and i have not noticed it until now. Of the seven attempts I had the following error codes from earliest to latest : 800B0100, 80246007, 80010108, 8024200D, 8024200D, 8024200D, 8024200D. I have followed advice from MS running KB947821 and FIX IT also disabled my Norton 360 firewalls and auto protect but to no avail. Also I do not have a DVD with Windows 7 as it was not supplied with my PC and I don't want to restore my computer and lose all my installed software.
I'm havin' a bit of trouble installing Service Pack 1. Either that or Windows Update wants to make an excuse and stop the installation halfway and then spit out a random error code. Failed - Error Code 8024200DWould downloading the MSU file help resolve what's halting the update process?
i am having a problem with installing the english language pack on windows 7 ultimate sp1. it is now in polish since i am polish and the edition i have is called windows 7 ingresso which is basicaly a cut down version of windows 7 with some great programs preinstaled and is also really fast. the thing is i like doing Internet tutorials to some programs and things like that, but can't because windows is in polish...i tried installing the english language pack through windows updates but it gives me an error code 800736b3
I have Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit. I have never had SP1 before. I recently used system restore to roll back a few days and now when I try to install have Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit. I have never had SP1 before. I recently rolled back my PC a few day with system restore, then updated Windows to the newest updates. I downloaded SP1 32-bit and when I try to install it, it installs right to almost the end and gives me: Error 0x80070002.
I am installing SP1 for windows 7, I get the error 800B0100, I have already tried the system readiness tool 2 times and all it does is install a hotfix.
I have All In One Windows 7 ISO in English. (11 Versions: Starter To Enterprise X86, And Home Basic To Enterprise X64) I would like to have a choice between 35 languages from the installation... how can I integrate the language packs to all of the versions automatically?

I installed Service Pack 1 for Windows 7. After it rebooted, on the Windows 7 loading screen it shows "Applying update operation XXXX of XXXX". After a certain number it says "Error applying operation XXXX of XXXX", and then the system proceeds to hang on that screen, meaning that I am unable to access Windows. I try mashing F8 for my life when resetting the computer, but I never get a list of boot options, so I cannot get into Safe Mode or even try the computer's Last Known Good Configuration. The edition of this version of Windows 7 is 64 bit Ultimate. The laptop I am using is also 64 bit Ultimate.
Another thing I want to point out is that both of these computers have been taking an incredibly long time (near 12 hours at this point) trying to download and install Service Pack 1. There is no spyware or anything running in the background. I am fearing that I might get the same error on this machine but I have taken the liberty of creating a System Restore point in the event it happens. I have two other Windows 7 machines in the house (32 bit Professional and 64 bit Home Premium), and both of them installed Service Pack 1 without any kind of problem, and both of those computers installed them rather quickly.
I am having trouble installing sp1 despite other windows updates having been flawless so far. I tried following instructions found at the Windows site but the System Update Readiness Tool didn't find any errors and repair installation aborts. Sorry to bother you with another "sp1 fail" thread but I have exhausted my search options for solution here and in other sites, which makes this request for help my last resort.
i get the same error message over and over again when i try to install service pack 1 on my windows 7 ultimate 64-bit, and if you leave it running it will bsod as soon as windows starts, i'm not sure what information to put on here, but i've tried nearly everything that there is to try, but nothing will fix.
I got Windows Ultimate and decided to let it install language packs I don't need (I didnt actually know they'd take a huge amount of space). Part way through the installation I cancel one of the language packs and the whole update finishes (This was a fresh install). Now in the history it says some of the language packs installed successfully but in "control panel>Change Display Language" there is only English.I'm quite sure a few language packs did install because the SSD free space was shrinking after every install.
Anybody know if during the RC other language packs will be available.
If not could I "Poodlefake" or Backport the language packs from the VISTA system.
I'd like to try the Icelandic pack so some of our "Normal" i.e non technical users back home can check / try Windows 7.
(Of course they all speak excellent English -- like most Scandanavian countries English is a mandatory language in Schools here and even as adults around 90% here speak it fluently but it would be nice to test Windows 7 in a "Working environment" away from the IT testing areas to see how it performs in day to day work. (Maybe not 100% mission critical stuff but for reasonably robust office situations).
Issues with installation of a recently released update from Microsoft
Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (KB970892) error code 6D9E fails to finish and install.... have went to microsoft and attempted to download the files, however installation fails during this process as well.... any suggestions?
I reinstalled Windows recently, but it used the same boot partition from my old installation. I got rid of the old partition (it was on the wrong hard drive) and created a new one with the repair disc. Windows boots, but won't install updates. Bcdedit outputs The boot configuration data store could not be opened. The system cannot find the file specified.
I deleted these before knowing they are necessary for removal of a service pack. Would system restore or an Aronis image of the system be better to recover these?
I recently purchased a 128gb Crucial M4 SSD. The other day my father and I sat down together to work on setting up the SSD as my OS drive. We installed Windows 7 64bit Home Premium successfully on the drive. There were no issues until I started to install drivers liberally rather then conservatively. While installing ~101 Window's Updates, I impatiently started installing my XFX Radeon 6870 drivers. This caused a crash and a blue screen to appear. After rebooting the system in Safe Mode, everything appeared fine. However, my video card drivers were in a weird funk. After some research, I resolved the issue and my video card drivers were all working and installed successfully. The big problem now is that when trying to Install Service Pack 1, I get an error code upon reboot that says "D_S_S_SUCCESS(0x0)". During the installation of Service Pack 1, the install stops about half-way and wants me to reboot the system, so I do. Rebooting the system is when I get the error code. The screen that pops up says that the install was unsuccessful. I've looked around on Microsoft's website to find some help. So far I've performed the following tasks:
Downloaded a tool by Microsoft called Mrfixit. I've ran troubleshooting that attempts to fix windows update. I've ran disk cleanup to delete temporary files, which won't even delete everything... I've uninstalled any virus software System Update Readiness Tool I've tried renaming the systems distribution folder..(Was this bad?) When I renamed my systems distribution folder to SDold... it created another one... Should I delete my systems distribution folder? Is there anyway to revert this? I hope I didn't ruin anything by doing this. I have no clue what to do next to fix this issue. I'm really concerned I'm damaging my Solid State Drive by all this constant rebooting and installing/uninstalling.
I had meant to say that all of a sudden I can't use windows installer service I get error code 8007641 or error code 641. I'm unsure why I'm not able to use windows installer anymore and I'm not able to get valuable updates from windows without it.
I need to install the Windows 7 Icelandic Language pack on some computers. The file is LIP_is-IS-64bit.mlc. which I've got from MS.These files used used to have the prefix MUI -- I'm a bit flummexd on how to install a language pack manually with the *.MLC suffix?
I downloaded the service pack last night. It installed with no problem. Sort of embarrased to say this, but I have been unable to get into Farm Town on Face Book today. It's the first time I tried since installing the service pack. This has happened on both the desktop and laptop. Both are Windows 7 64 bit.
in my list of updates since it was released. However I have put off installing it until the reviews were in.Last nite I decided to bite the bullet and do the install, and lo and behold SP1 is nowhere to be found in the list of available updates? Also checked update history to be sure it didn't get installed sneakily nowhere to be found?Spent sometime on the internet looking, but could find nothing addressing this.Where do I get SP1 now? Microsoft website? Why is it gone from the update list?
Is anyone else having problems getting the new service pack for Windows 7 installed? I keep getting an error towards the end of the installation. I dont rememeber the error code but it happed on both my laptops I tried to intall it on.
I never realized it until just now, when I looked through Windows Update. It's been trying to install the service pack update about a hundred times behind my back since LAST JULY. and every time the status is "Failed."
I had checked because I just installed it last night again and shut down my computerr and everything seemed fine. Then this morning I noticed the windows update icon in the taskbar and saw it again even though I just installed it last night and noticed all the failed installations
