How To Burn .iso (bootable) And Notepad Instruction In One Disk
Jul 2, 2011
I have an .iso and a notepad instruction. I'd like to make an .iso a bootable disk. How can I burn the .iso (bootable) and the notepad instruction in one disk. What burning software do I have to use?
I can burn a normal audio cd, yet i can not get it to burn mp3's (data cd, also says for mp3's in software) i have tried a few burning programs and always get the same result. so i figure its a windows 7 issue.
i have windows 7 home premium,4gb ram, comletely updated. i am using windows media player to burn music to a cd-r disk which i have always done in the past.only difference is now im using a 52x instead of a 40x.i dont know if this is the problem or not.all the songs im burning are in mp3 format. when i burn all the songs to a 52x cd-r ,the first 10 or so songs play fine when i play then in my truck in my cd player.after that,it takes multiple passes of the cd player to find each individual song after that.it makes a skipping sound as though its searching for it or it cant find it or read the disk.at times it will even eject the cd and say there was an error reading the disk.i tried different setting through windows media player, including dropping it down to a 20x,slowing it down, using wav format..etc.still nothing.when using the 40x cd-r,it will play almost every song in my truck without hesitation, except for the last one or 2 songs.the songs all play fine through my media player after they are burned, however, once i put the cd-r in my drive,i go to C: and look at my drive where the cd-r is located, its showing that there is nothing on it,that there is 0 used on disk.if i double click the drive,it gives me this error....this file does not have an program associated with it for performing this action.please install a program or,if one is allready installed, create an association in the default programs in control panel.basically i cant open the file by double clicking on the drive, but if i right click my drive and click "open"..it opens..lol..so confusing.never had that problem.will even open in any player i want, funny thing is it show nothing on disk when i look at my drive.all i really care about is why i cant burn these correctly to cd,and that it only burns thah first 10 and and the player has a hard time burning the rest?
I have a trail copy of windows 7 ultimate 32 bit with a keygen to make it into a licened version. thing is the disk does not have any updates on it. normally i can live without them, but it doesnt even have the most basic things like realtek hd audio driver or even my video card driver. windows update will automatically install everything i need as soon as i connect to the internet, but i do not always have internet handy. my question is would there be any way i can burn my updates to a disk instead of just installing them so i can have them for later? i dont need this to work on all computers cause im aware that different computers require different drivers. i only need my own computer updates.
I accidentally recently over wrote my windows C: hard drive by trying to dual install linux on my laptop. I downloaded and burned a windows 7 64 bit repair disk but I have no point to repair it from! So I think I need a clean installation, is there anyway I can also burn an installation disk.
I am trying to burn an *.avi file onto a dvd disk to play on the TV. I am using Windows DVD Maker and when I add the avi file then press Burn, it reports that a dvd burner can not be found. Yet there is a dvd burner on my computer loaded with a blank dvd.
To improve the reliability of my system, I bought an identical second hard drive, which Windows 7 recognized. I then used a CD-based cloning program to clone the second drive to be identical to the first. If I disconnect the first drive, I can successfully boot from the second drive. With both drives connected, I can boot from the first and the BIOS recognizes both drives, but Windows does not see the second drive. Can I fix this so that Windows recognizes both drives?I plan to run the cloning program once a week. Is there a better way? My computer has RAID available, but the backup disk is not bootable.
I have a compaq presario that keeps showing this. I put another HDD in and it is saying the same thing. Does it mean the old HDD was buggered and I need to do something to the new one to sort out boot order or anything? or is this not a HDD issue. I have two broken compaq presarios here. One with no screen working and one saying no bootable disk drive.
I come with cap in hand and head bowed in shame at this, my first post - after so many months reading the knowledge that so many of you seem to have.
I seek your help if you would please. After downloading at 45k all day what I believed (and still believe to be!) was the iso image of the RC, I (merely?) have the RC content that I need to create a bootable disc.
I have used Bart's BBIE to extract a boot image file from my previous W7_7068 disc and I now have 'image1.bin' at 2k.
But from here? - How and where do I merge this bin file with my W7_RC content? (I'm using 'CDBurnerXP').
Call me a 'noob'or call me a 'knob', either way I'll cop it sweet.
I download a software, it has iso file. Because I have no CD-ROM, I want to make it to a USB bootable disk and boot this software from USB, rather than. install it on my hard drive. Can Everyone help me?
I own a Dell xps M1530 with a: 2.0 ghz dual core processor, 3gb of RAM, and (currently) a 360gb 7200rpm hard drive. I have purchased Windows 7 professorial 32bit to upgrade from Vista. Not shortly afterwards my hard drive started to go so I bought a new one(better on of coarse) I want to upgrade the RAM in my laptop to 8gb and I need a 64bit os to do so. I now am using Ubuntu 64bit on my laptop until I install windows. I have legally got the installers for the 64bit version of Windows 7 professional. I am planning on using the same key for the 64bit version which after research I believe will work. Right now I am having problems installing 7. I would really like to not have to waste a DVD to install it. I used some Microsoft utility to extract the ISO to a thumb drive which, I believe is bootable in the purpose of installing 7. Every time I try loading the os from the Thumb drive I get this error message:
Error: Unknown file system Grub Rescue
Also, the Setup.exe file for installing windows doesn't seem to run under a linux operating system even with wine.
I recently purchaced a new notebook, shipped with Windows 7 64-bit HP. I need 32-bit in order to run certain programs, so I used my Windows 7 Ult DVD and installed it on this laptop. I did not delete the recovery partition that was already on the drive, but I re-installed my own Windows 7 on the partition with the pre-installed Windows 7. This was a mistake... I lack a lot of drivers and pre-compiled software that is not available for download from the manufactor. So, I hope there is a way to make the recovery disk bootable, so I can boot from it in order to respawn the pre-installed Windows 7.
I have my Windows 7 Pro install disk which does not have SP1 on it. I have Roxio Creator and I want to create an bootable disk image with Windows 7 Pro and SP1 so when i install Windows 7 it was also install SP1. Can I do this with Roxio Creator or will this take something else?
I installed a second HDD and installed Win 7 onto it and then t/f all data from the original VISTA HDD over.Been running just fine for a few months. Decided to remove the old VISTA drive and now I get "no disk" error when I bootI assume that the boot files reside on the old VISTA drive as I used to get the boot manager screen asking which OS to boot. What is the easiest way to make the Win 7 disk bootable now?
the hard drive failed... i like to install an external hard drive. I have inserted the recovery CD...removed the failed hard drive yet the error stops to recover
I am about to buy a new internal hard drive for my laptop, and want to do a clean install of Windows 7. My laptop came with XP, but I did an online upgrade to Windows 7 (student edition) Professional.
How can I create a bootable Windows 7 disk so when I put my new hard drive in my computer, it will setup Windows 7 for me? I also don't have any old XP disks because my laptop didn't come with any.
I looked on my C: Drive but couldnt find any .iso files or anything like that?
Today, i was trying to burn an ISO today when i got this message."The image didnt burn burn because an error occurred. The drive reported that it is performing a long-running operation, such as finishing a write. the drive may be unusable for a long period of time. (Error code: 0xC0AA0207)"Haven't started a write since my computer turned on.
I have an HP dv5 notebook PC with windows 7 (64bit) I3 cpu m330@2.13 ghz. I recently had to wipe my hard drive due to a virus. I bought this 2nd hand and wasn't provided any disks. I do have a Dell re-installation DVD with the same OS. I realize this disk won't install my drivers but was hoping there was a way i could install just the OS and download the drivers after. I do have the original product key for the HP. Now when i start up it says "No bootable disk-- insert boot disk and press any key" or "Media test failure, check cable". Even with before mentioned re-installation disk inserted. When i goto Setup Utility: Diagnostics and run the Primary Hard Disk Self Test and the memory Test it Passes both. When i go to System configuration (f10) this is what i see[CODE]

I have a friend that burned me an antivirus program that his job uses, he used a flash drive to get it on dvd. I can extract it to the desktop, but cannot boot from it. Is there a way to make the disk bootable, because it is supposed to be bootable in its true form. I can still run the program, but if something was seriously wrong, I would not be able to boot from it, wanna know if that is possible!
