I was looking at Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600mhz Vengeance Memory Module CL9.. It looks great my mother board is a gigabyte 880gm-ud2h I'm currently only running 1333 dims and I was wondering would it be able to run a 2gb corsair value 1333mhz moduel and a vengence 1600mhz?
well at first the screen would freeze, only thing i could do is restart the machine via the switch. Ive updated all the drivers i can, even updated the bios version. But everything i seem to do is making it worse now im having alot of non responsive programme's. Games are freezing up and staying froze for 30+ seconds then work for about 5 minutes and freeze again, sometimes fully stopping
Are mice and keyboards plug-and-play for laptops (automatically detected and ready to use)? Or will it require driver installation of any sort? I have a Dell laptop and will be buying a Dell keyboard and mice...
Hopefully not the wrong category, but there was nothing related to headsets, so I made a best guess. I got a Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset a while back, and have been having issues with them ever since. The first headset was RMA'd, and then the second was as well due to an issue where randomly the sound would just cut out. The headsets were still on (the mic loopback system would work), and even recognized as being plugged in by Windows, but I could hear absolutely nothing from my computer. The only temporary fix thus far is to unplug the headset, then plug it back in. After contacting Corsair again, they just had me RMA the headset again without any sort of explanation. After less than a day of use, the same issue has just occurred. Now either I am just unlucky as all hell and this headset is somehow broken too, or the issue is related to my system.I have no idea what the problem is, and have yet to find anything helpful online. I've tried reinstalling drivers and switching USB ports, but to no avail.
I have windows 7, clean install(upgrade), MOBO- ASUS P7P55D Pro. Intel I5 2.66, 2-2gig Corsair ddr3 Ram. 750w power supply 1tb hdd, 1-550gig hdd. Headsets- Cyber Snipa USB 5.1 surround headsets. I installed Beta Drivers from Cyber, I set the Headset program to use the headsets. I set the Audio program to use the headsets. No Sound card. All programs are up to date. Problem- No Sound from the headsets. I can, however, by using the control on the headset set the volume and mute. No matter what I have done I cannot get any sound from the headsets.
The speakers of my laptop are working properly but when i use headphones then it doesn't work. I checked the playback devices but headsets/headphones are not in the list, there is only speakers.

I've spent days researching this problem and have found no solutions. I plug the Microsoft wireless mobile mouse 3500 transceiver into my USB 2.0 port and the cursor movements are so erratic that the mouse is useless. I try to use a Microsoft wired mouse connected to the USB 2.0 port and it does not work at all. However, both the wireless mobile mouse and wired mouse work perfectly when plugged into one of the two USB 3.0 ports.
This problem occurs on my Dell XPS 17 L702X laptop, which is less than three weeks old. The laptop is running Win 7 Ultimate x64. I have installed the latest drivers from Microsoft's website. I have uninstalled them and reinstalled them but the problem remains. I have exchanged the Microsoft wireless mobile mouse 3500 for a new one but the identical problem remains.
I do not have this problem on my Dell Studio XPS 7100, which is also running Win 7 Ultimate x64. The same mice that fail to work properly on the laptop's USB 2.0 port work perfectly with the USB 2.0 ports on the desktop. Everything in Device Manager (laptop) is up to snuff and no problems are indicated.
When i try to connect my wireless mouse to my laptop it dosnt respond at all. It says it is connected, however nothing works. Ive tried using a Flashdrive and it works fine. Ive also tried with 3 different mice with the same result. Im guessing it has to do with a driver i have recently downloaded from windows update, however, i have restored my computer as far back as i can go, and it still dosnt work.
For some reason the computer that I am trying to fix won't discover any keyboard that I plug it into, USB wise. I have tried multiple working USB keyboards and none of them work on the computer. It is Windows 7 for the OS. There are no PS/2 ports to try out the old keyboards. The computer recognizes all the other USB accessories like the mouse and flash drives. For some reason whenever you turn on the comp, as if you were hitting F8 to choose to boot it to safe mode, the keyboard works and you can use it to choose and option. Also, when the the computer asks you to put in the password it works then as well but as soon as it is logged in, it doesn't work anymore.
I run Windows 7 Home Basic edition. I need to use English U.K. for all editing of text, particularly MS Word, but English U.S.International on the keyboard. How do I do it?
i have 2 windows 7 computers that dont recignize that i plugged in a mouse. i know the usb port works because i use thumbdrives and other usb devices and it recignizes them onecomputer is an alianware m11x laptop the other is a custom biult desktop computer i know the mice works because they work in my husbands laptop but neither of my computers plzzzzzz ive tried like 5 differnt mice and none work
Is it possible to get Windows 7 to use 2 keyboard BUT where the 2nd keyboard has separate inputs associated with it? This is regarding a flight simulator, where I want to use a 2nd keyboard as an input panel, effectively doubling my assignable keys. Is there some hack, 3rd part app or other way to do this in Windows 7?
I have an ASUS Rampage II Extreme MOBO, with the lates BIOS update (ver. 2101). When I boot the Comp, I can get into BIOS and what not with keyboard (logitech G-15-original one). Problem starts when I log on to Windows. It takes over 1 minute for me to start typing or even being able to use my keyboard. I have tried other ports, still the same. I have tried other keyboards, still the same. The only one that I am able to use it a PS/2 style keyboard. All my other USB Devices seem to start up and run ok, it's only the keyboard. Also, I have tried other USB ports on PC as well.I called ASUS, they were ready to RMA the MOBO for me, which I bought back in 2009! Then he said it could be a Microsoft issue..This all started when I switched to 2x120 SSD's in a RAID 0 Configuration, but was probably like this and didn't notice because I had to wait 3-5 minutes for the computer to start up. My computer will boot up and I can get on the web in about 15 seconds now, but can't use the keyboard...
Couple of months ago I built a new computer from a scratch. My Logitech G400 worked fine for like month and then it suddenly started freezing but not losing power( light still on ) Switching to another USB port fixed it for a while until only Rebooting made it unfreeze again. My first thought was that the mouse is at its breakingpoint which felt weird because it was only 4 months old and worked perfectly with my old PC.I gave it to my brother to test and he is still using it after 2 weeks of no freezing.I took my old Razer Diamondback 3G and used it pretty long time with no problems, until recently it started to unplug/replug itself for 2 sec at increasing interval each day./EDIT: This might be just coincidence as the mouse was old. need to test it on other computer.
Now I'm using Microsoft Basic optical mouse v2.0 Which is working fine.I've tried googling up people with similiar problems but havent found a fix.I have also deleted and reinstalled Drivers for both mice but nothing changes.I have USB headset that works fine in every port.
having boot mgr errors 4-6 times a day computer reboots out of the blue have to go into bios re-identify the bootable os drive. have a corsair force 3 120gb SSD. have daily talks with corsair tech support. AHCI is enabled in the bios & MSAHCI is changed from 1 to 0 still get BOOTMGR is missing. i have done windows startup repair no change still get bootmgr. have updated the Firmware on the Corsair SSD. have done everything i can find to do. still get BOOTMGR is missing. asus p6x58d, intel I7-970 3.2ghz windows 7 ultimate SP1.
One day keyboards stopped functioning and it hasn't worked since. The problem is on a home built desktop computer and any and all types of keyboards. I've sat on this problem for a while since I also have a laptop and have used that for activities that require extensive typing and I can still use the onscreen keyboard to use the desktop. I wish I'd done a system restore when the problem was still fresh but I didn't think of that immediately, and it's been several months now since it started. Keyboards work fine in BIOS, but not in safe mode. All attempts at updating or reinstalling drivers have not resolved the issues. My last resort will be to reinstall Windows but I want to find an alternative fix before going there. Using Home Edition 64 bit...
I did about 3 format since I bought my ssd. And its getting slower and slower for everytime I format it, I have format it about 2 times not more. and its about 100-200 write speed on it, before it was about 200-300. but its not fast as I expected here comes my bios settings if i have anything wrong there [URL].
I am currently running core i5 2500k @ 4.5GHz at 1.34v and while running intel burn test I reach up to 80C and the idle is around 45-50. My ambient temp is around 23c-25c
As for the H60 it is running how it should at full pump speed so i duno if its just me or the temps are little too high. I tested with a cheap 15 pound heat sink and fan I was getting the same temp so what real advantage is this achieving
Rig crashed due to a failed PSU --> Replaced with new Corsair AX1200 and now the Win 7 Ultimate 64bit is not recognizing the 12 gb Corsair Dominators (shows only 4 gb). I've searched the forums for this issues and the common responses was - to go to BOOT Advanced Options and uncheck the maximum memory. The Dominators are fine because they are detected by CPU ID. The MOBO is only showing 4 gb as well. I tried the 12 gb memory modules in a friends computer and it works fine!
I am trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my new Kingston 128GB SSDNow V200 (SV200S37A/128G) and Asus M2N32-Sli Deluxe motherboard. The CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ and I also have connected a Palit 9500GT graphics card via the primary PCI-E slot, PSU is Enermax 485W.I have the whole setup with a traditional hard drive working just fine in Windows XP Professional 32-Bit with SP3, what I am trying to do is switch over to using the new SSD with a fresh install of Win 7 Ult X64.The problem I am having is freezing/hanging when either on "Expanding WIndows Files" at 80% or usually on "Installing Features", either the cursor won't move or the dots next to "Installing Features" stop moving completely.. and I can just leave it for hours and nothing happens.
I have tried so far including combinations of each of these; Installing from DVD drive Installing from USB drive Installing from USB drive with slipstreamed SP1 Using PS/2 keyboard and mouse Installing with only one stick (2GB) of RAM, or two sticks (4GB) of RAM or four sticks (8GB) of RAM, or different pairs (4GB) of RAM Updated motherboard BIOS to latest beta version Swapped graphics card for another PCI-E card Swapped graphics card for a PCI card Installed on another PC.. worked fine on that PC (previous generation motherboard) then swapped to this machine but when Windows 7 has loaded it reboots the PC.. repair doesn't do anything just runs and runs finding nothing Installed Windows XP Professional 32-Bit with SP3 and all fine.. why won't Windows 7 install? Checked firmware of the SSD which is completely up to date Tried all 6/6 SATA ports Tried 4 different SATA cables Tried the SATA RAID port but no luck as driver won't install on Windows 7 installation due to it being "unsigned" I am very confused because surely if the SSD was incompatible with my motherboard then Windows XP Professional 32-Bit with SP3 wouldn't have installed and been working apparently flawlessly?
I have a problem with the sound on my board "popping / clicking sound" like when you power on your speakers but it's constantly does that and even when on standby...I will start from the very first day when I built my PC.Well I built my PC from following parts :
Motherboard: ASUS MA578L-M/USB3 PSU: ALPINE 700W RAM: Corsair XMS3 2x2GB 1600MHz 1.65V GPU: Gainward nVidia GTX 550Ti 1GB / 192bit Golden Sample (also knows as "GS") CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz / 8MB Cache HEAT-SINK: Coolermaster Vortex Plus CPU Cooler DVD driver: Pioneer DVR-S19LBK which is LightScribe as well HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F1 don't know which model exactly but spec. > 1TB / 7200RPM /3Gbps.
From the very beginning I had Windows XP 32bit (and of course all of my 4gigs didn't worked, and also I've been suffering sound delay eg. you've been shot and you see that but you'll hear it in about 2 seconds, so NOT GOOD) then I went on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits (note that I haven't got a speakers JUST > HEADPHONES) so it solved the problem with RAM's (I can use all of them properly now) and I am happy with that, but it was annoying to be sitting all the time on the headphones, so I bought "Logitech X-530 5.1 speakers BRAND NEW ones. And the story began from that moment. I started to be hearing weird sounds and the sound takes a half of a second like "popping/clicking or beeping" or I don't know how it would be called like"..So I tried to bring whole motherboard back to the shop where I bought them, left it to them..After a couple of days I'm back and got told like "the thermal paste was on cpu's socket and cpu's pins "SOMEHOW" ?!?!?....got told again that I could choose that "Motherboard would be sent to ASUS supplier to clean the socket", but CPU I needed to clean my self but the guy was not too sure about my cpu's life and will it work properly or I don't know.. So it is sent now "the MOTHERBOARD" but I've been told to wait for it for another 28 days to get it back, but I couldn't wait for that much and I bought another one, exactly the same one I got sent but just BRAND NEW ONE. So brought home, CLEANED CPU TO THE CONDITION AS IT WAS NEW, added a bit of thermal paste on the surface of cpu, inserted everything onto they belonged positions "ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING AS IT SHOULD BE" = GOT THE SAME POPPING SOUND.....Well then I tried my friend's exactly the same cpu as I have "AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition etc." = SAME POPPING SOUND..So I'm getting to the conclusion that I need to check "THE RAM MODULES" Cause: NEW MOTHERBOARD SAME CPU *friend's one is doing the same popping sounds as my one (I've even tried my cpu on friend's computer and it goes well just 110% well as it should be")
Is there any way to use 2 XBOX 360 Controllers for Windows and 2 XBOX 360 Wired headsets at the same time in a game on the same PC? I have tried and both headsets are working properly independently but was just hoping to get them both outputting sound primarily with both microphones recording as the secondary priority.
I have three audio devices on my pc (ATI HDMI, Via HD onboard and steelseries usb soundcard) and through all devices I only get audio out of the left channel. I have tried two pairs on headphones and my tv speakers all with the same results. I have looked at all the balancing end everything is set to even on both channels.
