Computer Freezes In Every Game?

Computer Specs:Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz, 3301 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical rocessor(s) (stock speeds and fan)8GB 1666 Mhz RAMAsrock Z68 extreme 3 gen 3 Motherboard Corsair TX750w Power supply Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bitSee the problem that I have been having with any game, Terra, League of legends, Bored lands 2, etc. Is that when I play the game about 5 minutes into the game the computer freezes, and its not just a regular freeze. The computer screen just freezes and all my USB ports become inactive, but the computer stays on and there isn't any whirling sounds, so I don't believe it is hardware.So far what I have tried is that I re installed windows 7 many times(at least 5). I have updated all my GPU drivers, and one issue I read on the EVGA website was that the Intel HD adapter driver was conflicting with it so I disabled the driver but it didn't solve the issue.

i am running windows 7 64bit Ultimate, i am currently having the same problem i use my computer for Flight Simualtor online gaming and last night my FSX game froze which i was not to concerned about but when i started to have repeated freezes in game i decided to shutdown and restart computer. i then had the problem you were having i would get to the windows startup with the "4 Colours" and my computer would not load any further, i then went to bed due to frustration and woke up next morning to find that my computer worked perfectly.this worked for about 4hrs when i recieved exact problem again and have spent the last 3 hrs trying to get my computer to work!!!Finally i am back online but it did it itself with normal startup.

Lately,when I play games i can see that bug.My screen shuts off and computer freezes(I can`t use keyboard(caps lock/ctrl+alt+delete..)or mouse)I heard the last game sound or something like that When this arrives,i can`t restart my computer,i have to press the power button.This problem appeared with the purchase of a computer,from the first day.Event viewer got only this:The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. On my new laptop and after around 20 seconds in game minecraft freezes. I have put the graphics on both highest and lowest with no changes. Theres also 2 ways that my minecraft is crashing.
1st: Minecraft just stops and i have to open task manager to close it.
2nd: Minecraft freezes and then i get a black screen. Then it goes back to the main screen, minecraft closes, and then in the bottom right a message pops up saying. "AMD video has stopped responding and has recovered successfully. I tried finding drivers but couldent in the end what now!

Game was working fine 2 days ago when I last played. Now it starts up as normal but when I load the level where I left off it freezes at 82%. Error message says AppCrash etc...
I tried starting at previous levels but they don't work either. I haven't running any scans or anything so I can't think why it went from working fine to not working?

i have been playing saints row the third on my laptop a lot recently and everything has been running fine, but now when i open it it goes onto start menu but as soon as i launch campaign it will freeze on loading screen but if i use the keys to move around and fight i can still hear my character doing it.
specs are:

I am running Windows 7 and frequently get a screen freeze while playing Battlefield Vietnam II or Battlefield II only. This happens quite often and I see no patterns except for these 2 games. I have updated my video drivers. I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 (Prerelease - WDDM 1.1)

It started yesterday: in an online game, after a couple of games I suddenly got some short freezes (half a sec, never longer) in which the sound goes like a machine gun, if you understand me. This was the first instance and since then it occasionally happens in that game. Nothing weird with that, just lag. That's what I thought. But today I started an offline-only game that has always worked perfectly (in fact, it's an old game, so very low system specs), and I got the same issue!
So, it seems I have a freeze issue suddenly, only appearing in games (haven't experienced freezes anywhere else). Note that it isn't exactly a freeze. Say I move my mouse and the freeze issue happens (still moving my mouse, but the arrow doesn't move), after the freeze my mouse arrow teleports to the spot it would've been in if the game hadn't frozen for that instant. In an actual freeze it wouldn't record where I'd move my mouse, would it?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3.01 GHz 4GB RAM
Videocard: AMD Radeon HD 6670, fully updated
While I was writing this, I noticed the PC showed a problem. I let it do its thing, and it reports a video hardware error. I DO NOT know if this is related to the problem, but regardless, I've attached the 3 files (in a zip) Windows showed me, in case it's relevant.

whenever I try to install a game or program (happens more often for games), the setup process freezes at random intervals. Not the kind of freeze where it crashes or gets the 'not responding' error message, but I can't click anything or advance to the next part of the setup until it goes away. It's really strange, and only started happening two weeks ago. I'm running Ultimate 32-bit.

Have all updates. after about 10 mins of play sound get weird and game freezes entire system in a sound loop that can only be fixed with hard reset. Disc and online auth. tried on installation. changed #of speakers in settings to 0 and 6, its a 5.1. No other game gives me problems.

thread here so i am not sure if i am posting in the right area, but i am having major problem with my pc. When ever i start playing a game, what ever it may be, (Starcraft 2, Battlefield 3, League of Legends, Ect) 10 to 20 minutes into playing the game, my computer randomly freezes, and i am forced to unplug it, and plug it back in to restart it. Computer runs very slow. Computer freezes randomly. Does not want to boot past windows startup except for in safe mode(SOMETIMES). IF IT BOOTS takes and an incredibly long time to get to the desktop (20-45min). Does not want to run programs. Runs EXTREMELY slowly (makes a windows 95 pc look like a speed demon.) Random restarts, restart loops, and shutdowns. Sometimes after turning on it will immediately shut off then turn back on. Keeps recommending windows repair on startup. Wants to run chkdsk, then freezes on it.Malware detection programs. Hardware diagnostic programs. registry tools. disk defrags. Driver updates. Windows updates. BIOS update. System restore. Windows repair tool. Repair installation (twice). WINDOWS 7 CLEAN INSTALLATION (twice).Exactly the same as the first day it started happening. So not only did I lose all programs and files, but my pc still runs like crap. Also, this is a higher end pc under a year old. [code]

I have an AMD Athalon IIx4 640 3.gig w/ 4. gig memory computer. I play Frontierville on Facebook alot. I am having trouble with computer shut down in the middle of the game. It doesn't blue screen it simply shuts down. POOOF!!!! gone. Then I have to restart the computer. I am running Windows 7 64 bit OS.

Basically, what happens is, if a game runs in fullscreen, there's a slight chance my computer stops responding entirely. The HDD Indicator flickers, and buzzing can be heard- as if it is trying to play the game. However, I am met with a black screen and no sound. I can not Ctrl-Alt-Del or Ctrl-Shift-Esc; it does nothing.It is also very erratic, it seems to be quite selective of what games do, and what games don't run, for instance, Half Life 2 and it's episodic expansions, as well as L4D2 and 1- Portal, and Portal 2 run fine. Fallout 3 and New Vegas, the same. UT2004 Runs swell. UT3 however, hangs. Metro 2033, Hangs. Skyrim works beautifully. Oblivion Hangs.I'd like to think it is a resolution issue, as I am using a 17" TV with HDMI. The resolution is at 1280 x 720, and my Graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 550Ti. My Operating System is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

My Computer turns of randomly when i play a game called Alliance of Valiant Arms. It will just turn off at a random time. It never use to do this but now it does it alot... My computer has o viruses or spyware or anything. All clean.

So I found my old copy of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (OLD game) and I decided I wanted to experience some nostalgia.I installed it and everything and it started like a charm. Once I started playing, my computer randomly shuts off. Just completely turns off, no warning, nothing.I'm pretty sure that my computer is not overheating because I play StarCraft II on this computer and do not have any overheating issues. This Tony Hawk game is a much lighter game, taking much fewer resources.I have an HP HDX18 laptop computer. url...I probably need to provide some other stuff to aid in finding the problem, but I do not know what else to provide.

When I try to play City of Heroes my computer shuts off. I run on a 550w Power Supply. Windows 7 32bit...for now bout to upgrade. There is not a lot of downloads on the computer maybe 4 items. It might let me on 2 minutes, 5 minutes or up to 40 minutes yesterday ( I was really surprised). It just shuts off. I have to flip the power supply button off for a few seconds before I can turn the computer back on. I can surf the internet all day long with no problem at all, its only when I go to game.

I have a custom built computer that i finished almost a year ago then bout 3 months ago, it start shutting down completely while I was playing The Old Republic no Blue Screens. I thought at first since it was just shutting down and not BSODing it was either my GPU or PSU, I have now replaced both with pretty decent upgrades, and booted some games like counter strike source, minecraft, orcs must die, and still happens.

I was playing through the walking dead game fine no problems then I had to go eat dinner so I paused the game (hit the esc key) and my monitor shut off and said no signal whenever I turned it back on. My mouse and keyboard also started shutting off and on and nothing I pressed (alt+F4, ctrl+alt+delete, etc) nothing got any response. So I shut off my computer booted it back up tried to play the same game again got the same issue. Then I tried to play something else and I got the same problem so whenever I launch any game my screen shuts off and computer essentially crashes. When Windows boots back up it says that it has recovered from a serious error similar to when you encounter a BSOD but doesn't ask you to send a report to MS. Also whenever I come back from the error windows for some reason attempts and fails to re-install the wireless receiver for my 360 controller. However it works fine again once I unplug and plug it back in again.
1. Uninstalling the game that started this.
2. Re-installing my video drivers.
3. Wiping my video drivers with driver cleaner in safe mode then re-installing my drivers.
4. Re-installing direct x using a setup file from a random steam game.
5. Doing a system restore from as far back as I had (April 25th)

I recently bought a new power supply, along with more ram because I was already ordering the power supply. When the package came and I set everything up in the computer, the PC turned on and everything was fine. I started to play a game with my friend and the computer just turned off. No error message, nothing. I believe the computer overheated, but I could be completely wrong. Now, when I start my computer up, it gets to the Launch System Repair (Recommended) or Start Windows Normally. If I select one of them, it will get into the 'Starting Windows' screen with the orbs, and then the monitor will just go blank. The computer still runs in the background, but my monitor just is blank. It is not the RAM (I switched and went to my old RAM) And I also cannot boot into safe mode, or anything of the sort, as the same thing happens. And I cannot boot from a CD (Tried with a windows 7 repair disc and computer goes blank again)

I recently plugged in a gamepad I had used on my old (vista) computer. Windows installed drivers that sort of worked but weren't as functional as my old ones. I copied the gamepad's DLL/instal folder over to this (7) computer and tried to register the dlls. Regsvr32 gave me the error: The module "name and location of dll.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "name and location of dll.dl" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.None of the .exe files seem to do anything.I can't find the original installation file on the internet anywhere but the old driver name/version was: "TWIN PS TO PC CONVERTER Driver Version: 3.51(2007.01)"

Something really strange happened one day when I ran one of my games. Well, The game crashed several time and when I went to open it in again, my documents wouldn't open! I went to "my computer" clicked it and still nothing happened. Whenever I click "my documents" the document screen just goes off to the side of my screen and nothing happens, same problem when I try to open "my computer". I have run scans with Norton and Malware Bytes but it cannot find any virus, my computer seems clean at the moment.
