my BSOD with Win7proSp1 on lenovo x200Tablet occures from time to time at the end of boot time, when the desktop is already visible. The only change I made to the original settings was to disactivate Bluetooth drivers since I do not use them. The error was present however also before that.
I bought lenovo H415 desktop last Friday. However, it started to have BSOD yesterday. It's my first time using Windows 7 system. Please help me figure out the problem is software conflict or hardware defect.
We have recently upgraded to Windows 7 at work. Our work have enabled access to my main work machine which is still on XP. I have just logged in, and for some reason the mouse icon was still visible on the machine and it was really annoying. So, here how I was connected:
MyLaptop (Windows7 Home) > Secure RDC onto Windows XP > RDC onto Windows 7 Pro
Before the last machine was upgraded, there was no extra mouse visible, but suddenly there is another mouse icon following my mouse icon.
Is there anyway this extra mouse icon can be removed?]

I have 25 files and folders on my desktop but only 15 are visible when viewing the desktop directly. All of them are visible when viewing the desktop in Windows Explorer. I have two monitors configured as one and keep all desktop items on one of them. I've tried selecting everything with CTL-A while on the desktop and moving them around as a group, to see if the missing ones might have somehow scrolled off the screen, but that doesn't reveal them.
Windows 7 was not functioning well, so it was re-installed using restore option, then MS Office 2007 was installed, but then on right clicking the desktop, in the new option ms office 2007 programs are not visible, but folder is visible.... whereas those programs are visible in start menu.

I have a Toshiba satellite x200 running on windows 7 64 bit. Everything works great except for the sub-woofer. The sound from the other speakers are working fine but there is nothing coming form the sub-woofer and the bass is greatly reduced. i have been searching for a couple of hours, installed all the latest drivers and nothing has worked yet.
I am trying to boot from an external esata hdd through an esata express card. I can set the boot priority to ata hdd2 however it will not boot from it because it does not list my hdd id next to it. HDD 1 internal does however, show the hdd id next to it and obviously has no problem booting from it.
I have been getting 2-3 BSOD in a day.I have attached all the required files in Attachment.

I have removed Norton AV from my system using the Norton Removal tool. I ran system file checker and everything turned out OK.Also i have installed new Corsair Ram (8 GB) by myself. I have run Memtest on them without any errors.
After restart, Lenovo Windows 7 home basic just shows a colour Window 7 logo screen and does not show desktop even after clicking on anywhere on the screen?
When trying to install W7 in 64-bit form I get the error message "The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."
this is new purchased notebook and i can't install the windows 7 anywehere in the driver
I am having some troubles on my PC where a BSOD appears everytime I turn on the computer, just before the icons appear or the start bar, I cannot even get onto safemode to debug this and remove/update drivers etc.I have included the directory MiniDump which I obtained by using a bootable linux CD.There isn't much else I can say as it started happening quite suddenly.I have run SeaTools and MemCheck and neither of these brought up any errors.
I keep getting a BSOD every time I log into my desktop and I'm not sure what the problem is. It works on safe mode, but that's about it. I think this folder may contain the dump files which I got by running the desktop on safe mode: Attachment 233731
writing the BSOD codes I got on the last BSOD even tho they happen frequently, afterwards I write down the system information + attach the files required in the report guide. And some hardware information, In addition I Attach the windows error reporting in case you'll need to look through some of it.

I just bought a new Dell laptop 6 weeks ago. The laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, Original Install, OEM.
About two weeks after purchasing the laptop Windows startup recovery would run every time I turned on the laptop. Just a few days ago the I started getting the BSOD after logging in to the desktop. If I try to start an application immediately after logging in, I won't get a BSOD. If I log in and leave the latptop unattended I get a BSOD.
I am attaching the ZIP file of the dump utility that I ran. My basic system profile is:

This just started happening a few days ago and I can't seem to determine why? I also cannot seem to run the perfmon report as my system won't stay running long enough to generate it and I can't seem to run the report tool from safe mode.
I have been getting the blue screen of death on my win 7 Dell desktop for about 2 weeks. I managed to back up all of my files onto an external hard drive , but then today started getting the same BSOD when starting up my toshiba win 7 home premium 64 bit notebook.
Since the BSOD on my desktop , I am unable to connect to the internet as it no longer recognises the wifi card in the PCI slot. So I will continue with the information from my notebook.
I recently got my first crash(0x00000050) on my pretty new Asus G74SX-A1 laptop while playing Half-Life: Source and never had any other blue screens before that. After that, I restarted and went to desktop and it eventually crashed again but when it did I opened Steam(not sure if connected). After that second crash, I went and scanned my PC on safe mode and then restarted again and tried to do a system repair but right after it was done I got the second BSOD(0x0000001a).
I have not recently installed any new hardware or anything that could change my system in any way. The last time I updated my PC's hardware was when I updated my graphics card (Nvidia gtx 560m) to a beta client about 3-4 weeks ago and haven't had any problems.
I looked through some of the error dumps my self to see what was causing the problems and it says it was "ntoskrnl.exe+7f1c0" but I'm not too sure what to do.
I provided the dump files in the attachements(2 dump files zipped). Edit: I think I might have fixed it by updating my graphics card, performing hard drive error checking, and chkdsk /f. I am not totally sure if it is resolved yet and if it is not, I will post back with more information informing that it has not worked.
then the desktop finally loads. It only lasts about 60 seconds before BSOD'ing again. Safe Mode seems ok, but I was in the process of typing up this thread when safe mode shut down on me randomly. I've tried restoring to earlier points and running malware scans. Minidumps are included.
Windows boots fine and loads the log-in screen, but usually seconds after starting to load the desktop, she gets a BSOD and the system restarts. The errors alternate between 0x000000E, 0x000000 50 and 0x000000A from what I've observed. Performance Monitor won't generate a report, giving the error "The system cannot find the path specified." I don't know how to correct for that.

I have a Dell XPS L702X running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, within the explorer window there is a link on the left for Libraries but when you click on it there are no libraries displayed, the window is empty. The Libraries do exist as you can see them in the 'Include in library' dropdown.Ive looked around and i have seen that this is an issue for 64 bit but i have no idea of how to get them to appear.
I was recently trying to enable the "No GUI boot" option in the Boot tab of the System Configuration simply because I was tired of waiting for that stupid logo to load before getting into my computer. I figured this was easy enough. Well, I went into the Boot tab and I was unable to click any of the options. I soon realized that this was because I had no OS visible in little white sub-window. I thought this was pretty shocking, it's supposed to say "Windows 7(C:Windows) : Current OS; Default OS" for me since I'm running Win 7 (64 if it matters). I've looked into the issue quite a bit, but almost everyone with this problem seems to have a much more serious problem of not even being able to boot at all. This same research has led me to think that it's something with my bootloader. I've tried running EasyBCD, but it tells me "There are a total of 0 entries listed in the bootloader". If, from inside EasyBCD, I try to go to Tools->Edit Legacy Entries it tells me:"Boot.ini is located on the hidden boot partition and cannot be loaded for user editing by EasyBCD. Please either assign a drive letter to the hidden boot partition or use the Windows XP dual-boot auto-configuration feature instead." I've also tried a second method, which was to boot from my Windows 7 install disc and get to the command prompt and type in (in order): "bootrec /FixMbr", "bootrec /FixBoot", "bootrec /RebuildBcd". The first two commands were successful, and although the last command returned successful, it tells me "Total identified Windows installations: 0".
I guess I should start by saying I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x86.I got a pair of LG HBS700 Bluetooth Headphones for Christmas and couldn't wait to pair them up to my Windows 7 Home Theater PC so I could watch movies after my wife has gone to bed w/o disturbing her.My first problem was I had no bluetooth adapter for the HTPC so I went and purchased a Targus Bluetooth 4.0 Bluetooth Adapter.Thought I had it all squared away. I installed the latest drivers for the Bluetooth Adapter I had purchased and was on my merry way.Went to the control panel, choose to add a bluetooth device after putting the headset in pairing mode and much to my dismay, Windows 7 can't seem to find the headset... I know the head set works because I'm able to pair it with my cell phone.
Using windows 7 64bit home premium, have tried two different adapters- A-link WNU(M) USB adapter- ASUS PCE-N15 PCI-e adapterBoth of them seem so install correctly, no errors during install. Device manager shows them working correctly, but......there are no networks visible to connect. At the same time my laptop (win7 64bit business premium or something) sees and can connect to networks. Have tried both of those adapters in XP in same computer, and there they work correctly, and show plenty of networks. 2 of mine, and many more from neighbours. Phone also can connect...so networks really exist. I have installed latest drivers from manufacturers sitesif I try manually setup connect to wireless network, get error..."an unexpected error occurs"Trouble shooting wireless network gives:"There might be a problem with the driver for the wireless..."But when I try to resolve the issue:"The wireless network adapter is experiencing problems"Also updating driver "windows style" says that driver is up to date. And it does exactly the same with 2 wireless adapters......dont think I need to try 3rd. Atleast ASUS PCE-N15 shold be win7 64bit compatible
I'm having a problem with my Desktop icons. All standard Windows 7 icons are completely visible, but after I install any software, new icons are only half visible.
I have a program for which I need to save project data within its Program Files location in order for it to be displayed in the program.I can drag-drop files into that folder, load the program and see the files where they should be ...but then when I go to that folder through Windows Explorer, it appears empty.
