I keep getting a BSOD every time I log into my desktop and I'm not sure what the problem is. It works on safe mode, but that's about it. I think this folder may contain the dump files which I got by running the desktop on safe mode: Attachment 233731
View 1 RepliesI just bought a new Dell laptop 6 weeks ago. The laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, Original Install, OEM.
About two weeks after purchasing the laptop Windows startup recovery would run every time I turned on the laptop. Just a few days ago the I started getting the BSOD after logging in to the desktop. If I try to start an application immediately after logging in, I won't get a BSOD. If I log in and leave the latptop unattended I get a BSOD.
Yesterday laptop with Windows 7 has been properly closed, and today after running a complete lack of desktop. The black background and nothing more. Works only task manager and cmd. Safe mode starts up properly. I tried to selectively disable the service take off, I checked the correctness of system files (sfc), chkdsk scanned, restored the system state, repairing the system from the installer, but still the same effect. MHDD does not show anything suspicious and logs OTL, which results in the Annex. Issue the command with cmd explorer.exe does not work. When you call the command iexplore or other associated with the control panel everything works. Sometimes this happens with all the icons appear and then disappear, and only remains the sidebar.

On my desktop I have created a credential. the name of my laptop is laptopTo make things simple lets say I put user name abc and password 123. From my laptop I put in abc for user and 123 for password I can connect to the desktop but it says invalid user name or password. I have tried creating different user names and passwords on the desktop fot the laptop. What am I doing wrong? I do not understand why this is so difficult. Its problably not but the help section in windows 7 does not give enough information.

When I was playing a computer game my Windows 7 Ultimate x86 froze for 1 sec (during that 1 sec the display on screen turns all "glitchy"). Imminently after the Blue Screen pops up and I have typed out what the it says beblow. Now everytime I start up my computer and log into windows (my computer takes a little longer than usual to boot up now) the computer shuts off 5-10 minutes and shows the blue screen again.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I tried logging in this morning I got a BSOD saying "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA". It kept happening after rebooting so I used system restore and that went away. But then I got a BSOD saying "a clock interrupt was not received on the secondary processor". This happens either right when I log in, or within about 10 minutes. I've been in safe mode for about an hour and it's been okay. I ran memtest86 for a few hours but there were no errors. I also cleared the CMOS.

Sometimes it happens after I type in my password and press enter, sometimes while I'm typing it, and sometimes when I just hover the mouse pointer over my user icon.
I attempted the System Health Report like the BSOD thread instructed, but that generates an error: The system cannot find the path specified.
64-bit Windows Professional Full retail version System age and date of OS installation is 12 days.
I get these random BSODs when I log into my PC, it doesn't always happen but it happens alot. Also in that time my PC runs as if it were opening 50 Programs at once. I have my Minidumps attached. (Also the crash does not occur in safe mode, just in normal mode).

It was fine for the first couple of months but for the past couple of weeks, usually when I'm playing a game, I would get randomPage Fault in Nonpaged Area BSOD. Some days I dont get it at all but others a few times. Today out of nowhere I got it while browsing the web. Now every time I boot my computer and log in I get the BSOD. Restarted about a dozen times, same thing. By no means am I a computer Wiz but I checked the hardware, it seems to be fine. Updated all drivers. Tried to even log into a different User. Used System restore.

When I highlight areas of the desktop by dragging the mouse over it it gets rid of the black. my BSOD with Win7proSp1 on lenovo x200Tablet occures from time to time at the end of boot time, when the desktop is already visible. The only change I made to the original settings was to disactivate Bluetooth drivers since I do not use them. The error was present however also before that.

This just started happening a few days ago and I can't seem to determine why? I also cannot seem to run the perfmon report as my system won't stay running long enough to generate it and I can't seem to run the report tool from safe mode.
I have been getting the blue screen of death on my win 7 Dell desktop for about 2 weeks. I managed to back up all of my files onto an external hard drive , but then today started getting the same BSOD when starting up my toshiba win 7 home premium 64 bit notebook.
Since the BSOD on my desktop , I am unable to connect to the internet as it no longer recognises the wifi card in the PCI slot. So I will continue with the information from my notebook.

I recently got my first crash(0x00000050) on my pretty new Asus G74SX-A1 laptop while playing Half-Life: Source and never had any other blue screens before that. After that, I restarted and went to desktop and it eventually crashed again but when it did I opened Steam(not sure if connected). After that second crash, I went and scanned my PC on safe mode and then restarted again and tried to do a system repair but right after it was done I got the second BSOD(0x0000001a).
I have not recently installed any new hardware or anything that could change my system in any way. The last time I updated my PC's hardware was when I updated my graphics card (Nvidia gtx 560m) to a beta client about 3-4 weeks ago and haven't had any problems.
I looked through some of the error dumps my self to see what was causing the problems and it says it was "ntoskrnl.exe+7f1c0" but I'm not too sure what to do.
I provided the dump files in the attachements(2 dump files zipped). Edit: I think I might have fixed it by updating my graphics card, performing hard drive error checking, and chkdsk /f. I am not totally sure if it is resolved yet and if it is not, I will post back with more information informing that it has not worked.
then the desktop finally loads. It only lasts about 60 seconds before BSOD'ing again. Safe Mode seems ok, but I was in the process of typing up this thread when safe mode shut down on me randomly. I've tried restoring to earlier points and running malware scans. Minidumps are included.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWindows boots fine and loads the log-in screen, but usually seconds after starting to load the desktop, she gets a BSOD and the system restarts. The errors alternate between 0x000000E, 0x000000 50 and 0x000000A from what I've observed. Performance Monitor won't generate a report, giving the error "The system cannot find the path specified." I don't know how to correct for that.

In the past week i have had problem staying connected through WLM. When i first boot up computer and log into WLM Ver:14.0.8117.416 it tells me if i have any emails and i go to the inbox and check them. After about 1/2 mins windows Live Messenger signd itself out. If i go to sign in the sign in window pops up and i enter detais but the WLM icon on the taskbar says i am logged in but then if i click on inbox a window opens but it wont connect to hotmail its just a blank IE page. The only way i have kept logged in is when i first log on i open hotmail and then i have to keep that webpage open all the time if not WLM logs off. A few days before this happened i lost connection to my Sky broadband for 2/3 hours and i rebooted the router and all was good. I have done Spybot, Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware and Microsoft Security and they all came back ok.

These 2 days my Windows 7 Build 7232 got a problem that there is an alert message to show "I/O Error 103" when logged into Windows. I check in TECHNET support site and know it was due to "Cannot connect to the registry on site server X in site Y.".
The iso file of the Build 7232 was scanned with Kaspersky and found without malware nor virus.
what my password is to log in. The only account I can get into is the guest account. I have tried using NT Password & Registry Editor and it says password has been changed but when I try logging in it still says wrong pw. Also I notice this completely took off the option to log into my account I created it was not listed on the log in screen until I did a restore from a repair disc I created.But that obviously did not help the password problem.I am running Win 7 Home Premium on a Gateway ID49C07u. If there is a way to completely restore the computer back to factory instead of finding the password this is no problem.
