i have blue screen on new machine pc with news components, asus sabertooth x58, intel i7, hd caviar black wd, ddr3 corsair 1600 etc.
the blue screen is every time, on internet, copy files, etc..the last blue screen say interrupt exeption not handled, but in the others times, is different..
I usually have to boot my machine twice. I boot the first time, log into my (domain) account, and once windows loads, I get a BSOD. After that, if I reboot, the system works all day.
This happens if I'm bringing it out of sleep or hibernate too, but it has to be inactive for a few hours for it to give a BSOD.
I am running a Dell Latitude D620.
Windows 7 Pro 32 bit (fully licensed)
4 GB RAM
Intel T2500 2.00 GHz processor
Joined to a domain

Just purchased an Apple Time Capsule that has the 2T memory built-in and called a Time Machine. I run Windows 7 on several home PCs; is there a way to back them up to the Time Capsule/Time Machine?

The PC is also running a weather station via Cumulus Software to weatherunderground. The PC has to run 24/7 (advice from tom's hardware has helped with the 24/7 set up
However a few times the station has gone off line, up on inspection I have found that the PC clock - as displayed bottom right - has advanced its self by 12 hours. The last time this happened was Friday 28 Sept. The weather base station showed 16:45, the Cumulus display on the desk top showed 16:45 but the PC clock showed 29 Sept 04:45, 12 hours in advance. Similar time slips both forwards and backwards have happened. Each time I have reset the PC clock on 'Adjust Time/Date and all clocks are at the right time allowing data to be transmitted / received and all seems to be OK for anything up to a week.
[code] I am using a single Seagate 250gb HDD and a bog standard LG CD drive and have removed my networking and graphics card in an attempt to rectify the issue.My problem is in the first time windows7 Professional 64bit installation. The machine powers does immediately after the the 'Loading Windows' screen every time without fail.

I've done some research and all the drivers are up to date, to the best of my knowledge, and I have installed all the updates from Windows Updates? I have an Asus G51 gaming series laptop. It has an intel core i7 with 4G of RAM and a GTX 260M for a graphics card. I've been getting a BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER BSOD almost every-time i use my machine for over 20 mins. My machine was working fine , until i bought an external monitor and started using that over HDMI. Now even though the other monitor is plugged out , BSOD still happens regularly.

I have a workstation that I just setup and the user is reporting BSODs on the system randomly. I've done all the standards stuff:
- Updated to the newest drivers from the vendor's web site
- Removed and reinstalled anti-virus
- Run chkdsk on the system volume
- Ran memtest86
- Looked into the bugchecks that came up. They are all event id 1001, but the bug check seems to change almost every time. I've noted bugchecks 3b, 0a, 7f, c4, 24, 101, 1a, 1e, 7e, and 4e. I didn't see anything promising, but I'm not exactly sure what to look for.
System is:
-Windows 7 pro 64-bit
-OEM install
-Compaq 100B SFF PC (Adina)
-AMD E-350 Processor @ 1.60Ghz
-4GB RAM
While it's an older system, we bought it new recently from tigerdirect. Guessing it was overstock. It's perfect for our simple needs on this workstation as far as power goes. Just need to resolve the BSOD issue. BTW, the other unit that is exactly the same does not have any problems.I have an exact match to this system, so I'm going to swap the hard disks between the functioning system and the one with BSOD problems. Once I note where the BSOD ends up, I'll have a better idea whether it's h/w or s/w. I'll post the information, but it is doing a BSOD every couple of days, so it may be a bit.

My previous setup was with a AMD 240e. I use Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus and have firewall turned on. The Media Center machine is on for 24/7 on sleep mode for recordings or turned on for showing recordings. Since the upgrade I have BSOD most times after it is turned on after sleep. The STOP occurs 4-5 minutes after the wake up either the wake up is initiated from a recording or from user. I even see BSOD occur in the middle of the night where I have no recordings or other activity. I have made several new install and tried to exclude the SSD and install a 32 bit Win7 - but the BSOD still occurs 4-5 min after awake.
I am experiencing issues with my ASUS graphics card and my Intel HD display driver. Whenever I am playing a videogame or doing something that is graphics intensive, my display freezes and I either have to reboot my machine or sometimes the display unfreezes and I am allowed to resume my activities. I originally had graphics driver 295.73, but I upgraded to version 296.10 when it came out. I still had the same issue when I upgraded my driver so I rolled back to version 295.73. I kept bouncing back and forth between the two drivers and I even tried going into safe mode to install the drivers. Twice while I was using AutoCAD and playing a videogame, the display became distorted and showed pixelated colors.
I installed the 301.24 driver when it came out on May 22nd, but the problem occurred again while I was playing a game and while I was in AutoCAD. In the rare instances that my display froze and unfroze, I received a windows notification from the windows event log stating that my driver 295.73, 296.10, or 301.24 failed. I have performed numerous diagnostics and stress tests using Ultimate Boot CD. My memory tests have checked out fine and so have my hdd and ssd tests. The only thing that sticks out is that my southbridge temperature, my CPUTIN according to HWMonitor, is at a constant 60 degrees. It never changes or fluctuates.
This is my 3rd Home built, 1st time with BSOD issues. On my 4th reinstall of Win 7. All new hardware. Minidump analysis and Performance Report attached. To isolate the problem, I have only loaded the video driver,(no apps, no data) and still get BSOD's indicating a ntkrnlmp.exe cause. (Not sure if I should have loaded the chipset driver with the video)The PC even crashed in Safe mode. I have run HDtune, memory testing, and chkdsk /f. Previously I had taken the PC to a repair shop, they reloaded Windows and drivers, but it crashed as soon as I brought it home.

So I reported this problem to the store, they asked me if I had my PC near a wood table or something of the sort, I said yes, and they said that could be the reason because of some whatthefuck reason I can't recall. So I took the PC to another place, and also replaced the CPU cooler meantime but turns out it's still happening. But now it's not only in games, it's anytime, I don't know what to do anymore.
I had a blue-screen today and the error was the following STOP: 0X0000003B I posted a thread about this in this forum already, I've done Memtest 86 as told by a user here but no problems were found. From what I've googled this seems to be a driver (mostly graphic's driver) related issue, I've no idea how to fix it anyway.

i have Lan, all computers are windows 7 proffisional and one machine is windows 2003 , workgroup . i made shared folder in windows2003 , some computers can access the shared folder and others can not.when i open network , i see the 2003 computer, when i try to access it , it asked for user name and password. the user is administrator for all , when i enter the user and password from many computers in the lan it is work correctly but in one machine with the same settings its says , you have no permession to access this computer.

I was playing Skyrim, noticed it was flickering a bit which is unusual as I specifically set my desktop up to be a gaming set-up. I alt-tabbed to see if any processes were hogging resources, and saw that my bamboo tablet was taking a fair amount. I stopped the processes and unplugged the tablet from the USB drive only to find myself staring at a BSOD.Upon doing a system resource (safe mode wouldn't work), I then found that my drivers for my Razer BlackWidow no longer worked, and upon re-installing, still didn't work. I switched to my old bog-standard USB keyboard.Since then, I've had several BSOD's happen at random. Browsing the web on Chrome, doing University work on Photoshop, even when my PC is idle.I don't want to have to replace parts just yet, so hopefully this is a software/BIOS issue. I've included the 4 dump files separately, as browser wouldn't let me select a whole .zip file.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've decided to join the forum seeking for help with this problem I'm facing on a relatively new Dell XPS 15 laptop. The machine is around 7 months old, has Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit edition installed (OEM) and has been updated to SP1. The problem first appeared when trying to backup files to an external 2 TB WD hard drive. While backing up the files, explorer.exe crashed, and my browser and iTunes crashed rapidly after, all giving some random address 0x. as the cause of failure. Around 15 seconds after this, I receive a BSOD with KERNEL_INPAGE_ERROR written at the top, and a notification at the bottom that the physical memory dump FAILED with status 0xC0000010. I thought that maybe I was straining the hard disk too much by transferring so many files at once, so I reboot the system, only to get a notification after POST that "there was a disk error, press CRTL-ALT-DEL to reboot". After doing this, the system rebooted, went into startup repair, rebooted again, and boot up normally. Ever since this ocurrence (which was a week ago) I've been getting random BSODs when doing random things on the computer, but mostly, when doing hard drive intensive operations. However, an interesting thing to note is that the subsequent BSODs did not contain the error message KERNEL_INPAGE_ERROR at the top anymore, but reported a STOP 0x0000004f at the bottom, and the same FAILED status for the physical memory dump. I tried running a chkdsk, but found no errors. I ran a DELL Memory diagnostics tool that found no errors. So I'm leaning towards a drivers issue.

I've used them for years but haven't had any real issues until this new laptop.I got a BSOD for the 2nd time stating Driver power state failure. I tried updating windows since I thought that was the problem but apparently not.The BSOD said to check for any improper new installations (that could be anything really since this computer is relatively new) And also to disable bios memery options such as caching and shadowing (huh?)it could be related to the antivirus avast but I don't know since it could be anything.

View 3 Replies View RelatedEvery day I come home and boot up my computer, and every day it BSODs either instantly or within 10 minutes, once I restart it seems to be fine and will run for DAYS. Also seems like all of my last systems have been having the same problem, so possibly it's some of the hardware I have been re-using, but it is beyond me to figure out and I just need it to stop..Windows 7 x64 full retail, fresh installed in the last 2-3 months, problem didn't exist immediately..Hardware varies from a few months old (motherboard, cpu) to a few years old (video card, hard drives, some older and some newer ram). I have tried with multiple different hard drives with fresh installs of Windows as well as different RAM combinations and configurations.
