I have a samsung R517 laptop working on Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit edition. have the system for just 3 days now and i am getting error messages such as the display driver has recovered from an error. And finally got bsod 0X000000116.

Firefox: Mainly because I have lots of RSS feeds, but it is resource intensive. IE9: Because I enjoy playing some games on the MSN Zone and have found that tools like Chrome's IE Tab don't cover everything.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just put together this computer on the 2nd and since then I've blue screened 9 times. I've done some research and all the drivers are up to date, to the best of my knowledge, and I have installed all the updates from Windows Updates? I'm not sure what to try next.I downloaded the 'SF Diag Tool' and have attached both the minidump and the system information.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI usually have to boot my machine twice. I boot the first time, log into my (domain) account, and once windows loads, I get a BSOD. After that, if I reboot, the system works all day.
This happens if I'm bringing it out of sleep or hibernate too, but it has to be inactive for a few hours for it to give a BSOD.
I am running a Dell Latitude D620.

I've been having problems with my mobile broadband too - it keeps saying that it's not connected. Only happens on this machine. I think the two incidents might somehow be related (they both started happening around the same time).
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, retail OS installed early 2011 My original OS was Windows XP Machine was built in 2008, adding a new graphics card in 2011.
PS. I noticed that the System Health Report said I wasn't using anti-virus. I'm currently running AVG Free 2011.
I have an Asus G51 gaming series laptop. It has an intel core i7 with 4G of RAM and a GTX 260M for a graphics card. I've been getting a BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER BSOD almost every-time i use my machine for over 20 mins. My machine was working fine , until i bought an external monitor and started using that over HDMI. Now even though the other monitor is plugged out , BSOD still happens regularly.

View 7 Replies View RelatedFor the SigmaTel High Definition Audio or IDT High Definition Audio CODECs, is there any way to get bit-perfect output via the TOSLINK or RCA S/PDIF connectors?
The idea here is to have line-level output, no volume control in software, to an external device that will do the D/A conversion.
And, same question via USB...
I'm brand new to the message board and have been experiencing BSOD messages for about a week. In the BSOD it said something about; "PAGE_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" Also here were some error codes it gave off too in the BSOD.

I have a workstation that I just setup and the user is reporting BSODs on the system randomly. I've done all the standards stuff:
- Updated to the newest drivers from the vendor's web site
- Removed and reinstalled anti-virus
- Run chkdsk on the system volume
- Ran memtest86
- Looked into the bugchecks that came up. They are all event id 1001, but the bug check seems to change almost every time. I've noted bugchecks 3b, 0a, 7f, c4, 24, 101, 1a, 1e, 7e, and 4e. I didn't see anything promising, but I'm not exactly sure what to look for.
System is:
-Windows 7 pro 64-bit
-OEM install
-Compaq 100B SFF PC (Adina)
-AMD E-350 Processor @ 1.60Ghz
-4GB RAM
While it's an older system, we bought it new recently from tigerdirect. Guessing it was overstock. It's perfect for our simple needs on this workstation as far as power goes. Just need to resolve the BSOD issue. BTW, the other unit that is exactly the same does not have any problems.I have an exact match to this system, so I'm going to swap the hard disks between the functioning system and the one with BSOD problems. Once I note where the BSOD ends up, I'll have a better idea whether it's h/w or s/w. I'll post the information, but it is doing a BSOD every couple of days, so it may be a bit.
My problem is on a Media Center machine where I recently upgraded Motherboard and processor. I have the following setup on the machine:
MB: Asus P8H77-MLE
CPU: Intel i3 2120
2x2 GB Kingston ram
OCZ Agility 3 SSD 120 GB
1,5 TB WD Caviar Green
Asus P7131 Tuner
TERRATEC Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity
Hauppauge! WinTV-NOVA-T-Stick-Diversity
Hauppauge! Smart CI USB
My previous setup was with a AMD 240e. I use Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus and have firewall turned on. The Media Center machine is on for 24/7 on sleep mode for recordings or turned on for showing recordings. Since the upgrade I have BSOD most times after it is turned on after sleep. The STOP occurs 4-5 minutes after the wake up either the wake up is initiated from a recording or from user. I even see BSOD occur in the middle of the night where I have no recordings or other activity. I have made several new install and tried to exclude the SSD and install a 32 bit Win7 - but the BSOD still occurs 4-5 min after awake.
I just started playing Perfect World International and it was all working good till 2 days ago Then when im playing it crashes after like 10 minutes Then i have to shut down my pc I turn on my pc and i get blue screen with the message BAD_POOL_HEADER It restarts my pc and gives me blue screen with the message MEMORY_MANAGEMENT it restarts my pc AGAIN and it works normally but it all starts over when i try to play Perfect World International for like 10 minutes i have tried to reinstall but it didn't work?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI started testing windows 7 RTM on a couple of PCs at home to see if I could make the transition. Basically I have 3 PCs, one dev PC downstairs, wifes upstairs, and a home theatre PC that serves the house.
I have had no problems upgrading the downstairs and upstairs PC but I'm at my wits end on the media PC (which specs are in my profile)
The media PC has been running rock solid for about 2 years on vista x64, but I wanted to move it to Windows 7 based on my evaluation and the new WMC. Things looked good, however I keep this PC on all the time since it serves stuff to other PCs and does things like removing commercials over night etc. Anyways at about 8am in the morning it just halted, no blue screen, no activity just halted. Need to do a hard power off. Anyways here are the things I have done so far to troubleshoot. All have lead to a lockup at some point or another:
1) Upgraded the MB bios to latest
2) Turned off on board audio (use ATIs), turned off 1394, serial, parrellel, secondary SATA chipset
3) Took out 2 dimms (run at 2gB)
4) Thinking it could be heat (but had no temp evidence to support it), opened the case and put a fan on the components.
5) Upgraded the Intel Matrix Manager to latest release
6) Tried tweaking some voltages on memory
Its just the weirdest thing, but I'm use to seeing a bluescreen or an error like that and with this I have nothing to really go on.
All my attempts have sort of left me at a loss, not really sure what component to really concentrate on. I'm thinking memory but I'm not sure.
My system is in my profile but its basically a
Q6600
P35 Chipset with 4GB RAM(4x1GB)
4 500GB HDs (1 RAID 0, 1 RAID 5)
ATI HD 4800
Since I was running stable with vista x64 I can't really come up with why I'm not running stable with Windows 7. Could it really be hardware if I was running fine before?? Does Windows 7 access memory differently? It leads me to believe its drivers, but I'm not running really anything extravagant. If anyone has any suggestions or methods to try let me know.
I am experiencing issues with my ASUS graphics card and my Intel HD display driver. Whenever I am playing a videogame or doing something that is graphics intensive, my display freezes and I either have to reboot my machine or sometimes the display unfreezes and I am allowed to resume my activities. I originally had graphics driver 295.73, but I upgraded to version 296.10 when it came out. I still had the same issue when I upgraded my driver so I rolled back to version 295.73. I kept bouncing back and forth between the two drivers and I even tried going into safe mode to install the drivers. Twice while I was using AutoCAD and playing a videogame, the display became distorted and showed pixelated colors.
I installed the 301.24 driver when it came out on May 22nd, but the problem occurred again while I was playing a game and while I was in AutoCAD. In the rare instances that my display froze and unfroze, I received a windows notification from the windows event log stating that my driver 295.73, 296.10, or 301.24 failed. I have performed numerous diagnostics and stress tests using Ultimate Boot CD. My memory tests have checked out fine and so have my hdd and ssd tests. The only thing that sticks out is that my southbridge temperature, my CPUTIN according to HWMonitor, is at a constant 60 degrees. It never changes or fluctuates.
iv been playin call ov duty 4 4 ages, then all of a sudded i had corrupted file/memory 81355,so i went n bought new ram which fixed that now all i get is constant lag?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI get BSOD's on a regular basis, with different error codes. Whenever it does happen I usually have two BSOD's within a few days, then no BSOD's for months and then again two within a few days etcetera. I've followed the instructions of this forum, I placed the system health report within the compressed folder which I uploaded.
I don't know if it has any relevance, but the last few days I also had problems with Windows Media Centre, WMC detected itself that it didn't work porperly. Symptoms: freezing of picture, not getting behind a certain time of the videobuffer. It had no problem with recording, just with playing live tv. Those BSOD's however happen both when WMC is running and when it's not running.

Well a few weeks ago I recieved a blue screen of death, my computer restarted so I ignored this problem. But it happened a few more times. It happened once today. After I restarted, the pc was stuck loading at the desktop so I had to restart again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently put together a new computer and installed Windows 7 on it. Everything seems to work fine, except when I resume using the computer after it goes to sleep, I get a BSOD. When I wake the computer up, it shows me the log-in screen, but when I click on my user profile to log in a blue screen appears. Also, it only seems to happen when the computer enters sleep mode on its own. If I put it into sleep mode, it wakes up with no problems.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOver the last month I have been having problems with my computer. About 2 weeks after I installed a new piece of hardware (an ATI TV Wonder 650 pcie to be precise) my keyboard started acting funny. Sometimes it would randomly turn off. Other times it would randomly type slashes. After about 2 days of that I started getting blue screens when using flash player. Things gradually got worse until I couldn't even access a file without a blue screen. Throughout that time I attempted to figure out the problem, but couldn't.
Today I finally reinstalled Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Things were going rather well, except that windows was having trouble recognizing the tv tuner card, but everything was running well regardless. I left the house with my computer running for about an hour and when I returned my computer had blue-screened and restarted itself. I took out the tuner card hoping it was the problem, but a while later the computer again blue screened while doing a restart.
My laptop is crashing quite frequently and has been happening several times a day for a few months now. After doing a virus check and removing programs and updating drivers, it did not solve the problem, so I decided to back up all my files and reinstall windows hoping that it would resolve the problem, but it hasn't.

[BSOD] Blue screen error :PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA in windows 7
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a WD 320Gb 3.5inch hard drive that was originally bought as an external drive in an enclosure. A few months ago, while booting, my computer would go through blue screens one after another if the external hard drive was switched on from the enclosure when the computer was started. I never really did anything about that, just left it off and turned it on when i needed it. Mind you, it and the computer still seemed to work fine.
Now i have decided to keep it internally. So, as soon as i booted up after connecting up the same drive, i'm going through these exact same blue screens again. I'm not 100% sure if that is the cause but signs point to it.
Here's the blue screen info:
The error message is:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
and the stop info is:
STOP: 0x0000000A (0x000000B0, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x82250B04)
and finally, here's the picture i took of the blue screen, a bit is cut of but i know it says "IRQL" on the left hand side.
I am getting the blue screen error.but it is not significant. happens anytime. sometims pc works 24 hours without error. somtimes it comes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRight about the time we got the virus out I started to get regular system freezes and BSODs at random times throughout the day. I'm not sure if it's something we did, if the virus messed something up, or if it's some unrelated issue. It's not the memory since I tested it last night and there weren't any errors. It can happen at any time. I haven't been playing any games and the only game I ever do play on this laptop is minecraft. I do play some Hulu and Netflix videos, but these crashes and lockups don't only occur when I'm watching a video. I can simply be browsing the web or working on my webpage and I will get the BSOD or the system will freeze.[CODE]
