Terminate The Installation - Blackberry Desktop Software

I believe has to do with my Windows Installer. I've noticed that whenever I turn on my computer, this pop-up message from Windows Installer comes up on the boot up as Windows is done loading all of my programs. Also, this pop-up message comes up when I try to install certain programs, such as Blackberry Desktop Software, and then immediately terminates the install from there on out. I'm running Windows XP SP 2 and I get an error message whenever i connect my blackberry curve to the computer. if the usb device is stopped, it will go away, but other than that it won't disappear after clicking cancel. if it helps, I installed the roxio media manager only yesterday, when the error first came up. I just loaded a game on my pc and when i went to play it i got this error message

The message I cannot get rid of is:- the instruction at "0x019c52el" referenced memory at "0x01fbfa38". The memory could not be read.Click on OK to terminate the program. I keep on clicking OK and each time the message returns but each time with different reference Nos,I have run my AVG antivirus and spyware, but no joy.I have to drag the error off screen to lose it, but still there.

Close internet explorer on XP pro. The instruction at 0x020c3795 referenced memory at 0x01a5ad58 . This memory could not be read . click on OK to terminate the program. when i click ok nothing happens and problem occurs again next time.

My husbands PC won't boot.the welcome (but without the welcome messege) and then the following error occurs"The Application failed to initialize properly (0x0000142) click OK to terminate program"We have no idea what this could be (the only recent changes made to the PC is a wireless connection, which was set up almost 2 weeks ago, so i am thinking that this isn't connected to the problem now?)....or how it has happened. My desktop cannot boot up. I tried to reinstall windows XP.My BIOS (setup) can recognize the hard drive. but when I use OS CD reinstall XP, after loading files, chose continue install XP, I got error message, cannot find hard drive. the only option is F3 to quit installation. and my hard drive had click sound now..I doubt hard drive had some problem. I had did chkdsk from recovery console, but only 52% complete, chkdsk utility exit with "some part cannot recovered" message. why BIOS can see hard drive, but installation software cannot

I decided to get rid of my "Symantec Antivirus" program, but I couldn't find a way to uninstall it, so I deleted the program folder (with included files) and the related shortcuts and left it up to my registry cleaners to get the rest. However, whenever I right-click on an icon or the desktop, it gives me a couple of Systemac Antivirus installation windows that I have to cancel out of before I get my right-click menu. My registry cleaners, anti-spyware, and anti-virus programs can't find anything. Searching for "Symantec" provides no results. How do I fix this?

I open the cd drive (for one of the CDs), double click on setup.exe, and get the following annoying message:
"The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application."
However, I also have the option of pressing ignore. When I do, it does the exact same thing as close So I really don't have a choice of opening the program. I really would like to use these CDs.
I have tried using the windows compatibilaty tool, but still the same thing happened. How should I get them to work? Also, old files I download from the internet also have this problem.

I've lately had some problems with my win-xp (home) following installation/ un-installation of daemon tools that corrupted some registry files. After an unsuccesfull repair-instalation of xp, i re-installed xp onto the secondary partition of my hard drive (d:, the original instalation being on c. I was intending to format the c: drive, then instal a copy of xp-pro i have onto it
finally moving the files i want to keep back from the d: drive onto the c: drive.The problem i'm now having is on formatting i recieve the error message 'system partition is not allowed to be formatted', as it is the primary partition. Can i go about formatting this drive in partitions and proceed with the re-install without having to remove the files i have on the d: drive? How might i go about this?

I started up the computer, watched the BIOS detect the RAM, hard drive, etc, and then was greeted by a blank screen instead of the Windows boot screen. It proceeded though, and after a few seconds flashed to another black screen, this time displaying the cursor. I'm guessing this is the logon screen, but nothing displays but the cursor. (Note that the video card and monitor are both fine...I tried swapping them out just in case.)

I am trying to install SP3 on a Windows XP Home (currently SP2). The installation is hung on "Finishing Installation - Performing cleanup". I downloaded the installer from the MS Download center (it didn't appear in Windows Update). Is it safe to turn off the computer (since I can't close the installer), or should I let it sit for a while longer (it's been hanging for a few hours)?

I remember few days ago.. my kaspersky identified some system file as a trojan.. so it probably a misunderstanding when i was installing system mechanic. it got deleted.. and i have this automatic option to delete them after they are put in backup in kaspersky.
now whenever i open my pc, my desktop and taskbar and start menu,etc goes away after a few seconds! Now i rely on the task manager..

Several unwanted desktop icons appeared recently (I think they come via Search2000 when IE is used). They won't right-click for deletion, nor will they allow themselves to be drop-dragged to the recycle bin. They don't appear in the desktop icon list when using the desktop cleanup feature.

When I have either firefox browser or IE6 up and when I minimize my browser or exit out of it, my whole screen goes blank. Every thing from my desktop items and my taskbar disappears for a second or 2. The only thing on my desktop that doesn't go blank is my desktop picture.

Turned on other computer this morning. The desktop wallpaper showed. There were no icons or taskbar. I right click on the desktop and nothing happens. I am unable to change desktop wallpaper going through properties then desktop. I right click on desktop, select properties, click on desktop tab i then go to try and browse wallpapers but am unable as the box and scroll are frozen. I also have a problem when i type into run. When my computer was turned on this morning the desktop shortcuts on my desktop will not open any programs. Non shortcuts such as my computer or outlook express open normally. I have recreated all shortcuts and the new shortcuts still won't open. I have tried the obvious of restarting the computer and I have run my antivirus programs (symantec,spy bot and adaware) w/o anything being found. Can any one give me any ideas of what may fix this issue?
