May 24, 2008I have Windows XP Pro sp2 and use Internet Explorer 7.
In Internet Explorer, on the address bar, you can click the down arrow at the right end of the bar and this causes a Drop Down List to appear, that shows URLs you've recently typed in and gone to. Can this list be cleared and if so how and is the information completely gone even though you can't see it?
Clearing Out Old Operating System Update Data?
Aug 23, 2007I have a windows 2000 server, which is quickly running out of room. There must be almost a gig worth of update and hotfix install/uninstall files and info.
Can I remove these files safely and recover the info? Do I need to disable system restore before doing this?

Nov 10, 2009I have an odd issue where every time I delete my Internet Explorer 7 browser history, my Run box history is also deleted at reboot. If I do not delete IE7's history, Run history stays at reboot.I have searched quite a bit for a solution but just can't find any working solution and why my XP is doing this.I have another computer with XP Pro SP3 also and it doesn't behave in that manner at all.I have tried the solution HERE to no avail. Clean Serch Results History
Dec 31, 2005I am cleaning out my computer and trying to deleet lots of junk.The only thing i cant clear out is the stupid giant, long list of serch results i have typed in the yahoo search bar.I ran ace utilities and stuff like that to clean out history, and other junk, but i cant get rid of all the diff things ive typed in the yahoo search bar.I've went under internet options on the menu up to top.Cleared my cookies, history, tempory internet folder but it wont go away.
