Jul 4, 2010can I connect to tv through the optus cable, does it use up too much of the download space and does it clog the hard drive, am new to all this and love the help from this site.

I believe the problem might be with a corrupt file setupapi.log or Windows Image Aquisition. I have two such files and I do not know whether I am supposed to have two or not. Also, I am not sure if I can delete these files and where to get one to replace the two I have deleted.

Apr 8, 2006I shut down system restore and went into safe mode to clean out spyware,ect. In safe mode, spybot,i used ewiedo,smit,adware. i dont recall but i think spybot was the only program to find an item. When i rebooted in normal XP, i have been unable to connect IE6,Weatherbug,Widgets to my wireless connection. However Firefox is connecting pretty good,atlhough my wireless program is funny, its telling me there is no internet connection as i surf I tried 'internet options' such as resetting IE, i tried that scannow command. again, i dont have the system restore option to use. but also yahoo widgets are not connectiong nor weathebug.

Aug 6, 2008I'm setting up my friends home network. They have 2 PCs connected via ethernet and one laptop on wireless. The router is a wireless router / modem from 2wire. PC number 2 and the laptop both connect with no issues. PC number 1 is weird though. I can go to 192.168.1.254 and it opens up the router system page and I can go through and change and view settings. However when I try to go to any websites it immediately goes to "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." I have tried netscape and the iTunes store and nothing can connect to the web. I have linux ubuntu on a Live CD and I can boot from that and it connects to the internet just fine.

This is the only printer connected to this computer, and the only computer connected to this printer. Jun 16, 2005I have recently bought myself a Sony Ericsson K750i and after removing the USB cable from the phone or from the computer my computer just restarts for no apparent reason. I have tested my phone on other computers and they work perfectly fine. I was just wondering if anyone heard of this before and know what it could be. BTW: I have tried it in diagnostics mode and it still restarts. I have also tried it in SAFE MODE where it doesnt restart (but it doesnt find the device either :P)

Since then, I have noticed that neither my wireless nor my wired LAN connections appear in Network Connections. My connections work fine. I am using a wired LAN connection to send this. However, the connection does not appear in Windows Network Connections. According to what I've read, the connection should be automatically entered there.
