I've seen the option before, but i can't seem to find it now. Where do I go to edit things like "ask for password when returning from hibernate" and things like that? Also does any know if you can change the slide show settings (like the length of time of the slides)? if so where?

Does anyone know how I can Make a Powerpoint slide show with video, And be able to email it to someone, and when they open it up view it with the video I am able to view it here with video on my computer, but when I email it, they only see it as a slide show

But then i got GAIN from i think some codec i got online, and then my cpu usage used to jump up to 100% quite frequently. I attempted to look online as to how to remove GAIN from my computer,It has some changes to the registry which i did without making backup of it. So now my login screen will not appear i can not get into any mode, i.e. safe mode i cant restore my computer (even though i dont want to) because system restore is off

When I tried to change it back, I DID NOT HAVE THE OPTION! What disturbed me the most was that I had no internet connection. I checked the internet properties and my network settings were in blank. I checked the moden, and the "DSL" light was off. I don't want to imagine I have to reinstall Windows (XP); I've installed some software I (bought) downloaded and don't want to lose it. What can be wrong with my PC? I remember last time I turn it off was fine.

So I deleted most of them, but kept show desktop and outlook express. I would love an icon on the desktop that I could click when I arrive at work that would start IE and Firefox, change their proxy settings to 'On' and then close the programs. Every time he loaded the game, it was illegible. Just USB driver, modem is connected by the USB cable and sometimes I can hear this sound in winXP that its disconnected and connected again(the sound you get when you unplug/plug in a USB device). After a while of plugging /unplugging, my internet connection just disappears. I'd like to change it to one of my accounts if possible, (I primarily use a university based webmail account), and if I can't change it to anything but hotmail or msn then I would like to remove it.

two new computers a router and networked the home. I have the host computer and my children are each on wireless as clients. Both children can access internet, but only 1 can access printer. I actually figured out the problem that's huge as I'm a network idiot. My son's computer (can't use printer) is using my old computer with MY name on it. I am on the new computer with MY name on it. So when he tries to access the printer it doesn't know where to go. I have windows xp HOME and from what I see I can't change the name on his computer the folder immediately under documents & settings). I followed instructions to copy from one folder to another (ie, Mine to his) using a 3rd administrator account. I could copy any account but mine.

Now I can't boot up (cold or warm) without using the original disk. Can I just go into setup and change boot settings without re-installing.Is there anything else I should know before I attempt to fix this problem?
