I was scanning my computer using spyware sweeper and i saw it scanning all these files that i hadn't put on my computer so i saw where that file was which was C://documentsandsettings/admin/Complete, so i got all the way to admin but there was no Complete folder! so i clicked show hidden files but it still wasnt there! i think its taking alot of my memory.

It asks me if I want to unhide just the folder or all files and subfolders, I do all files and sub folders. View 3 Replies View RelatedNo matter what I do, when I change the properties of a single directory to either show or not show hidden files and folders, that property then changes in every single directory on the whole drive. I do not click on "Apply to All Folders", I just go to the directory of interest and change the button in Folder Options>View and press "OK". Is there a trick here? Basically I want some folders to show hidden folders, and others to not show them. Right now it's either all or nothing! Again, I am NOT pressing apply to all, which I know will apply all view settings to every folder.

After several tries I got a copy of FASTconv, a command line program, to extract the files. It has been a long time since I used a command line and the command is complex. I have set the command follows........ fastconv /V /S:source store /D:destination store /T:temp store /I left out the /I switch so all files in the Dir source store would be extracted. Same thing happens when I put in /I switch.I named the Dir. source store, destination store and temp store. When I run it I get instructions on usage and a command prompt What am I missing?

Thankyou for the help.But still have the issue of not being able to change the "FOLDER OPTIONS"/ "VIEW"/ "HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS" selection has both "DO NOT SHOW---" and "SHOW HIDDEN-" selected. If I select either one it will stay only as long as I do not close the Folder Options box. As soon as it is closed it will again default back to both hide and show.I cannot find any threads with this issue except the mention in the one thread about "INFOSTEALER" that I used to get me this far. View 8 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to get much information on wacko.gif Just built a new rig that is running XP x64 with latest drivers and updates, specs are below. Installed my otf's (openType fonts) and have tried 2 different type managers (Extensis Suitcase and FontAgent Pro 4) to get my fonts to activate and they are not activating.
This lead me to check the windows font folder and I noticed that any OTF in the folder was not showing up in my applications (photoshop etc). So I double click on the fonts and I am getting a "the requested file /path to font/ was not a valid font file" message. I installed the fonts directly from my cd so I know the fonts are valid.
Wwhen I start my computer up my Kazaa folder pops up along with all my regular start up programs. I had uninstalled Kazaa, but this folder keeps appearing at start up. Tried to change my normal startup to selective by checking it off, but it still shows up.
