When I access MSN MONEY I receive error message WINDOWS - NO DISK exception processing message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c I can cancel the error but it continually reappears as I search other pages. If I exit Internet Explorer and open it again and avoid MSN MONEY the error message does not appear.

Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c.Below the message, there are 3 buttons to choose from -> Cancel, Try Again and continue. When I click on any of these buttons another one pops-up with the same message. The only way to get rid of these is by exiting Media Center.

I am getting extremely annoyed with the message that keeps popping up every thirty seconds (see attachment). I don't know why it's searching for some removable media (I think) when my thumb drive is still inserted. I have been having similar problems since the stupid Geek Squad told me I needed a new hard drive and then named it the "H" drive for some reason; now from time-to-time when I try to run programs which (I think) used to be based off my C drive I'll get one of these or a C+++ runtime error window.How can I make this stop? I'm running Windows XP SP3. on an HP desktop. All help is appreciated, as this is a highly annoying problem right now.

Tried a restore to last known good restore point... made no difference. Should I just do a restore using Windows Disc or is there possibly something more sinister going on here?

Then it goes on like that, and the technical information: STOP: 0x00000024 (0x001902FE 0xF7CDE6DC 0xF7CDE3D8 0xF731BF81) It started happening after I ran the new AVG Free 8.0 virus scanner. So maybe that's the problem? So far I haven't been able to even run in safe mode to disable it.

I have Mcafee's virus scan running all of the time and I leave on the machine always. After I reboot it may take hours for it to happen again but it always happens. I saw something similar on another thread about removing programs from the startup file, but I was unable to find the msconfig file.

Now I have everything up and running anew and have made all the Windows updates and it's all honky dory. However, I just went to the Disk Managent Console with the intention of re-assigning drive letter for my storage partitions (not the one that contains Windows) and ran into a problem.I have a partition set up on my main hard disk to use exclusively for Window's pagefile. I have not yet set up Windows to put the pagefile there. This is the next partition after the primary partition that contains the OS. I wanted to set the drive letter of this partition to Z: to get it out of the way in Windows Explorer.

The computer justwill not boot at all., it gets to the ME Logo and th escreene just goes black. I can satrt it in safe mode, but i cannot restore it to an earlier date, no mater which date i choose, i just get the mnessage can not restore. I want to, reformat and install XP home, but the CD ROM does not show in my computer and it does not see the disk when i put it in. So I boot the new system using the hard drive and OS that came with it and installed my old drive as a slave. When I try to access the documents and settings folder on the old hard drive so I can pull over the favorites, documents, etc. to my new drive it says access denied. The username and password on my new system are the as on the old one. Any ideas on how to get access to that folder?

Clicking on ok cancells the whole cut/copy operation, which can leave you wondering what has or has not been moved and requires trawling through source and target location. With Explorer I end up hitting cancel about 10 times and it takes about 30 seconds and it asks me for a CD I don't have, I hit cancel some more, and then Explorer finally loads. With Word and Excel, I just hit cancel once, and then Word and Excel never do load.

View 12 Replies View RelatedRecently my son sent home 3 CDs with photos from his travels in South America.2 work fine, the third one cannot be read on my PC, however I can see the photos on my DVD (not computer) player. DVD lists 110 jpg files, 2 photos seem damaged and the slideshow gets stuck on them, but I can restart the slideshow from good photos. he sent many disks up to now, I burn CDs for photo storage on regular basis,this is the first time I experienced this kind of problem .
When I try to right click on the disk to open it in Explorer my PC shows empty disk. I tried to open the disk from different applications like ACDSee 5, copy the disk using Roxio Easy CD creator to no avail

When I bring up utilities for system restore, it shows drive I as the system drive instead of drive C.I can sort of understand why this might happen because I installed a new 200 gig drive 5 months ago and made my old C drive I. My system tells me that C is my boot drive and I am not having any real problems except with restore. Looks like something is wrong in restor's database.
