I've searched the numbers but came up with nothing. The runtime 216 error worried me since it usually is a virus so I ran two scans(antivir-which I normally use and symatec) both show the pc is clean. The boxes only occur when the last window is closed. The first box is an explorer application error 0x018638ae reference memory 0x0197cca4 memory could not be read. After that box is closed the runtime error 216 at 018638AE pops up.
My computer keeps coming up with a message saying Runtime Error 217 and iexplore.exe application error. It says : The instruction at 0x300a2074 referenced memory at 0x065a8e24.The memory could not be read read.Click on OK to terminate the program. My Computer is running Windows XP Media Center.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if people had any suggestions about the following problem I have.I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop (couple of years old now) and it has Windows XP Media Centre Edition installed on it. I has been running perfectly fine all of this time until very recently.I started it up and selected Windows XP on the boot loader (I have dual boot installation with SUSE 10 but I have not used this for at least a year), and noticed something odd. The initial bios screen at the beginning of bootup had vertical stripes down the page over the top of the dell logo. When the windows XP loading logo appears, I get similar striping. After a few seconds the computer halts to the BSOD and gives the PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA error and halts.I have managed to boot up into windows safe mode, with no problem, and interestingly the vertical stripes are not evident here.Firstly I thought it might be a graphics card issue, so I downloaded the latest drivers from NVIDIA and installed them in safe mode, however this has not had any effect. After this,
when I try to install Windows, at the main downloading screen, it gives me a Fatal Error: Access Denied. I tried 3 Windows XP disks, too! Any help?
for some odd reason, the am/pm portion of the time displayed in the task bar, emails, imessengers, etc has changed to "??????" (6 question marks). I can correct using time/regional settings, but it returns upon rebooting. Windows XP Media Center.
