"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Most likely causes:You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address. What you can try: Diagnose Connection Problems "" I diagnosed Connection Problems and this came up:Windows cannot connect to the internet using HTTP port (80), HTTPS port (443), and FTP port (21). It suggests that my firewall is at fault.

I have many problems with my computer, its a dell computer running windows xp.I have internet explorer 7 service pack 2 installed. This just started after I started deleting some programs, trying to get rid of the sonic activation module that kept popping up.Anyway, when I start my computer I get this windows installer poppin up saying preparing to install, this doesnt go away and cant install.Next I go to my email and the delete button wont work, either by checking items off or just pressing delete. This is a charter.net email.Next thing is I lost mozilla so went to install this, pressed on the download button and a window tried to come up but it goes away and cant download programs, this happens on every site I try to download anything.Next problem, anything I try to print will not print using the file print button, or using the right click, print option.next problem is when shutting down computer i get this message: 0xuc91519d referencing memory 0x0008000c, memory could not be read.

For a reason unknown to me, when I visit some webpages, instead of seeing some of the jpg or gif images that make up parts of a webpage I see the image box and a little red "x". Previously I have had no issues when I went to these pages, all the images would be visible. I have not intentionally changed any security settings, and dropping my firewall or Microsoft Antispyware does not seem to make a difference. I even dropped my security settings, but nothing. I have tried right clicking and then selecting "show
picture" but with no positive results.

I use Google as my home page and lately I been having intermittent problems with it. When I open my internet explorer, it says "Internet Explorer cannot display page". It's not my internet connect because if I type in an address other than my home page in the URL bar it will open. My AOL works too. After hitting the home button a few times, my home page, Google will open. But after awhile surfing the net, when I hit the home button, I get that message again that it can't display page. Right now as I type this, I hit the home page button and it says cannot display page so I hit the back arrow and I come back to this page and I can continue typing and I can send this thread. What's wrong with my home page "Google"?

Both Firefox and Internet Explorer are not displaying correctly. Background images do not appear at all, and some foreground images simply do not load - they don't appear at all, even as an indication that loading the image has failed. Oddly, though, there's still a blank space the size of the picture in most cases. However, there's no way to select the picture or the area where the picture would be.
some sites with style-related features do not display correctly - web-based email and forums with borders, for example (Gmail is for all intents and purposes in black and white). Internet Explorer takes the problem a step further - it increases the text size to ludicrous proportions, so that even a small chunk of text takes up several pages. I have also noticed a similar problem in semi-online programs - using McAfee VirusScan, for example (which updates through a web service) results in text that is simply too large to fit into the window, rendering the program unusable.

I badly need your support. Day before yesterday (01-Aug-06) night I upgraded the yahoo toolbar and used their norton anti spy to scan. Then I shut down the system and started to work the next day. Every thing is perfectly ok except for one thing. In Windows Explorer, on any folder or drive if I double click or open I get a crash. If I do explore then there is no problem.

Getting this error message all the time: Internet explorer has encountered a problem and will shut down, blah, blah, blah. send report-don't send report. Sometimes it closes all the tabs I have opened, sometimes only part of the page comes up or it does recover but I keep getting the message. I often have to start all over and it's so frustrating and irritating. I'm using windows XP.
