I have many problems with my computer, its a dell computer running windows xp.I have internet explorer 7 service pack 2 installed. This just started after I started deleting some programs, trying to get rid of the sonic activation module that kept popping up.Anyway, when I start my computer I get this windows installer poppin up saying preparing to install, this doesnt go away and cant install.Next I go to my email and the delete button wont work, either by checking items off or just pressing delete. This is a charter.net email.Next thing is I lost mozilla so went to install this, pressed on the download button and a window tried to come up but it goes away and cant download programs, this happens on every site I try to download anything.Next problem, anything I try to print will not print using the file print button, or using the right click, print option.next problem is when shutting down computer i get this message: 0xuc91519d referencing memory 0x0008000c, memory could not be read.

In Regedit go to:HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerChange the value of the string "Download Directory" to the new path you want to assign as IE's Default Download directory i.e. "D:" has been assigned as my new download directory.
I've sent email to Hotmail over this & posted in Microsoft forum but got no useful help from either. Perhaps someone here has a clue:This is a new problem over about the last 2 months (not a problem before):On Windows XP, Internet Explorer 7 (though happened also with Internet Explorer 6 before I upgraded):Every time I open Hotmail via Internet Explorer, I sign in with username and password, it comes up that username and/or password is incorrect (even though it IS correct). I then sign on a second time, and log in successfully. If I clear all cookies and Temp internet files, I can sign on the first time I try after that, but if I then close Internet Explorer and reopen & try again, or open a second Internet explorer window without closing the first, the problem reappears.
OS is Windows XP. The computer is 6 years old & have never had problems. Recently I'm unable to access internet Explorer. The white page appears and the "connecting" message...and there it stays. Also, I'm unable to download .net versions 2.0 through 3.5, which appears to prevent me from downloading other programs. One tech tried to assist me remotely & ultimately suggested
My windows automatic updates notifier wants me to download Service Pack 3. I have heard of problems arising from Service Pack 3 (I have XP). Should I ignore it or should I download it?
How do I get the dialoge box to not close automatically after a download is complete? I have to minimize my browser, and open my desktop folder called Downloads to click on the downloaded item.
I submitted a thread a few days ago (Error messages for the Internet explorer). After everything was done, the computer was running great! I went to the Microsoft site to download critical updates. I downloaded 28 of them with no problems. Restated and everything was fine. I went to download SP2 and it installed fine. But, I could not get the explorer to connect with the Internet. I disabled the firewall thinking that was the problem. I looked at everything I could think of with no success. So I uninstalled it. It uninstalled smoothly. The computer was still running great. Turned the computer off. The next time the computer was turned on, it ran great. No errors or freezes. The computer was on for a couple of hours and then I shut the computer off. About 7 hours later, I turned the computer on and it sounded like it was starting up
Every time I need to download a file from my e-mail or even programms from the internet I always get the box that ask me to run, save or cancel, I press on Run it dowloads no problems and then another box appears that says it is searching and it just keeps on searching and never fully downloads my programms or files. i have Windows Xp and my browser is intenet explorer, if that is of importance.

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. I had Internet Explorer 7, and for about a month I would get a "Error: Operation Aborted" every now and then and I would have to open a new window, so Friday morning I downloaded Internet Explorer 8 Beta to see if it would remove the problem. It didn't, so I tried Firefox, but I found both IE 8 and Firefox to be annoying, so I decided to remove them both and go back to IE 7, but this caused a whole different problem. I think that I might have done something wrong while removing the programs because now IE doesn't work at all. Now whenever I click on IE, the IE screen will flash for about a second and then disappear.
I have a windows XP.could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Many times, and very quickly, my internet browser will shut down with almost the exact same error message. The "bbzvcelz" part always changes even if it is the same file. This problem has not lasted very long, my computer is 4-5 years old, and I have run Norton antivirus many times to eradicate the problem.
I joined the cable for my Internet connection because it wouldn't tie up my phone line when I was online.Since doing so I find things I'm trying to download, say Stationary for example.I keep getting this Screen looking thing with a bkue band down one side and a red circle with a red line through it at the bottom. In order to download, I have to right click and of course, nothing turns out and won't show up when I download.

I'm attempting to help a friend who is not very computer capable. She has Win XP Pro, SP 2, and I believe IE 6. She has been getting a bunch of error messages (IE has encountered a problem and must close). I don't have access to her comp, but wondered if anyone knew of a possible reason. I suggested that she d/l IE 7, however, everytime she tried, she got the same message and was kicked to the "send/don't send" box for the Microsoft "problem" reporting and then to desktop.
I tried to dowload some codecs to watch a movie (without success), my computer is running very badly. It always freezes and I have to reboot or it responds very very slowly. The only hint I have is a Windows type error message which pops-up at almost each boot kdyow.exe - Application Error exception Breakpoint A breakpoint has been reached.(0x80000003) occured in the application at location 0x00411ccc.Whether I choose either one of the option, it always come back and my computer is having a very hard time running. Did I catch a virus of some sort ? I searched the Internet and the breakpoint thing seems to be frequent, as well as the 0x80000003 but nothing about the 0x00411ccc?
