Mar 25, 2007When i'm on the internet, word, media player and basically every other program and I hit F1 for help (the yellow question mark thingy) the help doesn't work at all. It says:This program cannot display the webpage.You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address.Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.

Sep 5, 2005For a reason unknown to me, when I visit some webpages, instead of seeing some of the jpg or gif images that make up parts of a webpage I see the image box and a little red "x". Previously I have had no issues when I went to these pages, all the images would be visible. I have not intentionally changed any security settings, and dropping my firewall or Microsoft Antispyware does not seem to make a difference. I even dropped my security settings, but nothing. I have tried right clicking and then selecting "show
picture" but with no positive results.

Mar 1, 2008I have been getting this msg "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" when trying to connect to a web site (q8yat.net). I tried Firefox & IE7. I have access to all other websites? I used to have access to the web site previously but all of a sudden, no more access? can someone help me out plz?PS: I tried many things but didn't work ( no access when starting it in safe mode too)

Firewall Program Gone / Cannot Get Online
Aug 20, 2009Renewed my firewall(Zone alarm extreme) subscription. Downloaded an upgrade and thought(first mistake) it was done. I stepped away from my computer for awhile and my wife sits down to get online. IE8 doesnt pull up so she restarts the computer. NOW...the firewall program is nowhere to be found. Actually when I do a file search, it is an incomplete file. The program isnt in add/remove programs either. Also, IE doesnt allow me access to the internet. I'm using a laptop now through a router which my desktop(the one with the problem) uses. When Windows does a diagnostic test, it suggest that there is a problem with the cables. Theres nothing wrong with the cables. My system restore doesnt work either. Is there a back door to getting online I'm sure that since the Zone alarm wasnt complete, it shut something down.

Apr 29, 2007Recently I installed "Ulead Video Studio 9" program on my computer. But for some reason it did not install properly, it crashed half way. Clicking on the shortcut on the desktop does not initiate the program. I decided to uninstall the program by going into the Add/Remove folder of Windows XP. But from the Add/Remove folder, I was not able to uninstall the program. Its like 174.5 MB file sitting on my programs folder. Tried to use DOS delete command to delete files. But it looks like will take few months to clear all the files. I was able to delete some files by going into each menu/sub menu etc. It looked like a very tedious process. There are thousands of files for this program. Does anyone know any good program to remove/uninstall this program without damaging other programs?

May 12, 2006I was wondering if anybody can help me get rid of a number of program names i have sitting on my add/remove program, I try to remove them but when i do it tells me that the link does not exist and therefore i can't get rid of the name as i must have removed the offending programs manually instead of through the above program, as i should have.Is there a way of removing the wording, i have tried moving it into a removal program that i have, called emco move on boot, which is a drag and drop setup but i can't drag them across.
