It seems like just now I am not be able to print anything when i am on Internet explorer. I just to preview and/or print. No When I try to print it doesn't do anything if i try to preview it bring the preview page with noting in it. I can print any document or anything except when I'm on Internet explorer.

In my efforts I ended up with a blue screen with the claim that I have a "page fault in nonpaged area" and it instructs me to remove cache, shadowing and various other exercises that can't be done or are not relevant. There is also a series of changing causes similar, if not the same, as those reported by others that are having problems and are similarly titled in this forum area

All mail from this site has images blocked and most links not working, and I can't access the Web site in Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Netscape browsers suddenly. However, if I read my email or try to access the site on another computer, everything is fine. I remember clicking something having to do with the content on this page being "unsigned," but I haven't been able to find a way to fix the problem. When I've cleared cookies, history, cache, files, and unchecked all security everywhere, I sometimes can access the Web site until I close the browser and re-open it (even with no changes made), but the images and links are still blocked in my hotmail.

I change the name servers and they have propgated because I checked the DNS on a DNS report website and the domain name points to the new host. Everyone can connect to the new host and view my web site except for me. The only way I can connect and view my web site is if I go to it through a proxy. I tried flushing the cache. I tried clearing the temporary internet files and history. I tried disabling the negative caching through the registry. I tried restarting the dns client service.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy daughter's eMachines PC has XP. She was moving some photos from one folder to another. Now they won't preview or open. The thumbnail images do not show up either.In Properties they do not say "Read Only" or "Hidden" and it will not let me alter anything. It will say "Error Applying Attributes"-"Access is denied".I asked her what happened and she said she was prompted if she wanted to move these "Read Only" files and she clicked "Yes" because she said it has asked her before on some.It lists the titles and the size of the files. The other photos in the folder show their previews and thumbnails, but these just show the generic JEPG icon.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn WinXP, there are certain default right click menu associations on some file types, such as images, audio, video, etc. These can often interfere with your chosen default apps for handling these file types (such as ACDSee or others). Images are a prime example -- no matter what other app you install for manipulating images, the "Preview" option is always the default, which goes and runs the Windows Image and Fax Viewer. I finally found the solution to this.Any entry in the ContextMenuHandler key will override whatever you try and do, there's no easy way of telling it you want a different default option. This leaves us with deleting these keys as a final solution.As always, back up your registery before doing any changes.

The icon appears on my desktop with the page title and all, but when I double click it, it just opens up my browser and loads about:blank.In the shortcut file's properties, and then gives me the file's size, location,etc.but it doesn't list the URL anywhere. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a DOS based accounting system that I have used for years and I print to various printers on my network using the "NET USE" command. It has worked just fine until recently when it started taking 10 to 20 minutes to execute a "NET USE LPT1: /DELETE" command or to have a printout send to the printer.It seems that the print job is hanging up in my computer (DEL Inspirion 8200 WinXP) because the DOS application hangs up until it finally prints. I have just testing printing from a Windows application and it does the same thing. The printer that I am trying to print to is attached to a Win2000/Red Hat Linux dual-boot server and does the same thing no matter how the server is booted up.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a dell desktop p4 2.4ghz w/ 1 gig Ram. For the past month or so, I have been having printer freeze-ups. I have a HP1012 hooked driectly via USB, and 3 other networked printers (2 HP and a Brother laserfax printer). The weird parts - it will freeze randomly, and will freeze when printing to any of the printers!! I may go a week between freezes, or a day.
When it freezes, I can not bring up the "PRINTER and FAXES" in windows, and when I click on the printer icon in my time tray, nothing happens. I then must usually cntrl-alt-del to end whatever program was printing, then restart. When I try to restart, I always get an "Explorer can not close" message and must "end now", before it will turn off, and then it will take forever in the "Windows is shutting down" screen before it reboots.
