Windows 8 Blue Screen Error When Laptop Screen Dims
Nov 7, 2012I get a blue screen error of "driverirql_not_less_equal" when my laptop monitor dims.
Specs:
OS: Windows 8 Professional (64 bit)
Intel i7 2640M
8 Gb Ram
1T HD

May 24, 2014My dell inspiron n5010 running on Windows 8, today all of a sudden started showing some grains on the display.Soon after it happened, it showed me a message which says
"Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restarts. were just collecting some error info, and then well restart for you (100% complete)".
The system restarted by itself and it started running system repair. The system repair screen is also grainy. After the repairing is done, it restarted showing Windows 8 logo(that too with grainy display).But nothing really happens after that and it its stuck. So I decided to switch it off and turn it back ON after sometimes. I did that and the PC booted with no issues with the display perfectly fine. But the same issue is repeating again and again and I will have to shut down the system for some time and then again turn it back ON to make it run normal.

Sep 15, 2014My new laptop is crashing multiple times every day. It freezes, reboots itself or I get BSoD. I use it mostly for playing League of Legends and watching videos on Youtube , but it crashes on everything.
I tried to reinstall Windows 8.1 (OS I had when I bought laptop), reinstall all drivers, install new drivers but its still crashing. Also tried to run it in safe mode but it crashed there too.

May 7, 2014My laptop keeps crashing with the error Random BSOD, Driver_IRQL_Not_less_or_equal tcpip.sys, and looking through it with blue screen view, I've noticed that each one has something different for the primary reason.

Laptop Was Freezing And Screen Went Blue?
Jul 16, 2014My laptop has been fine since the last episode but today it was freezing and the screen went blue and it needed to shut down. I let it do it's thing and it referenced -- kernal_data _inpage_error and since then it has been good for a few minutes but as soon as I attempt to multitask everything freezes for 3-5 mins and I can't do a thing. It is like it needs to catch up. get my laptop back in speedy order As I move over to a new tab that is taking some time to load I notice is says waiting for cache.....on the bottom... then it locked up -- just for maybe a minute.Both Google Chrome and IE give me the "Not Responding"

Also got an error that said my system denied write access to host files. If any hijacked domains are in this file hijack this may not be able to fix this...then it tells me to edit the file -- wasn't sure if I should yet so I did not.

I have one SSD 120gb in the C:/ which it host the operating system and some minnor programs, in a HDD which is my D:/ drive there I have my games.

Feb 3, 2014I have been getting this error "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL(NETIO.SYS)" for a few days now. This happens when I use a torrent service like utorrent. How do I fix this?
I used MCPR tool for removing McAfee from my computer, I removed Norton Internet Security and now I only have Windows Defender, but I still get the error.

Sometimes it will not show up until a half and hour, sometimes it starts in 15-20 min. It is just really random and it just restarts my computer inconveniently.

Also When i use SFC/Scannow on Command Prompt I am told " Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Detailes are included in the CBS.Log windirLogsCBSCBS.log. Fir example C:WindowsLogsCBSCBS.log. Note that logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios.

Jan 30, 2014Since Yesterday I've gotten the Window's 8 Blue screen saying the Error "MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE REQUESTS" now i got this multiple times yesterday, even got the "BAD_POOL_HEADER" Searched around and found out this was probably a Driver Error and updated my Drivers. Only my Video Card needed an update and after Installing the latest driver and restarting my Computer everything seemed fixed. But today i got the same IRP Error again.
I have an Busted up USB port and thought that maybe the Driver was confused about it and made the error so i Deactivated the specific driver to that Port, But after getting the same IRP error and restarted the comp again i got the "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" error at startup
Now my I comp started normally and I'm waiting for the next Error so I don't know what do to. I found out that there's some error Logs (C:/windows/minidump) but I don't know a program that'll make them readable.

Nov 14, 2013I recently bought a Samsung EVO 840 120 gb SSD and did a clean install of Windows 8.1 Pro on it. Also formatted my other HDD's. And after that I started to experience at random times the complete freeze of windows and sometimes blue screen of death with "clock watchdog timeout" message. They usually happens when I unpacking an archive, during file copy, downloading big files, installing mods in nexus mod manager for skyrim or sometimes just in very random events. I noticed that usually when this happens hdd activity led on my pc case blinks continuously. When this freeze or BSOD happens I need to manually reset my computer.
(Also most of the archives I download from the internet I get crc errors for most when I try to unpack them, so I have redownload it again :/)

May 3, 2014I've recently purchased an MSI Dragon Edition. It started off the bat with top notch performance, no fps drops, no nothing, just pure perfection. Up until one day, it decided to completely crash on me, it got stuck on the loading BIOS screen and refused to redirect me to the log in page where i could access my desktop. After taking it to maintenance and formatting it from scratch, I've started noticing some subtle differences in comparison to the way it used to perform, performance drop, fps drop in game, slower powering on time, takes longer to shut down, not recognizing certain USB input such as my hard drive (not all the time).
About a week ago, while playing a game, my laptop crashed to the blue screen, with the error code displayed at the bottom telling me that the issue was "driver power state failure", after doing some research about the blue screen issue, people on other forums were discussing how the user should perform an SFD scan check from the CMD prompt.
After Scanning, my prompt informed me that I had multiple issues regarding my software files, "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."
From the Scan, there were in total 27 errors to report as shown below. I'm also currently fully, thoroughly scanning my laptop for any viruses using Avast! Antivirus, hoping it might resolve my issue.

When Select Photos Tile On Screen Another Black Screen Appear With Blue Square Icon
Jul 10, 2014Just had this new laptop running windows 8 and its an Acer.When I select the photos tile on the screen it goes to another screen which is black with a blue square icon and underneath it tells me that there are no files or folders in this view.There are photos in my picture folder as I just put then in.But if I go to the other method and select the My picture folder the photos are there.
