Feb 22, 2011I have a Netgear WNR-2000v2 broadband router (for PPPoE connections such as iBurst). I am getting a 4MB/s ADSL line soon which comes with an ADSL modem (not wireless)Will i be able to connect the modem to my netgear router via Ethernet and then connect to the internet wirelessly?

Dec 3, 2012my pc was causing a lot of problems. i have a verizon wireless jetpack,with a netgear wireless adapter. I tried uninstalling netgear, then wanted to reinstall it. But I cant install it. It keeps saying no connectivity can b found. like there is a connection missing to the modem. A VW tech guuided me through the jetpack, everything was fine with that. What do I need to do?

Dec 25, 2012I have an annoying problem with my pc running Windows 7 Ultimate.Till I connected my pc(which is a desktop without wi fi adapter) to internet using a ethernet cable and a wi fi router I had no problems. After that, randomly, but especially when browsing the internet, the computer freezes and I must restart it.I have to mention the fact that if I connect my pc to internet using directly the cable from my ISP ( a pppoe dial-up connection) everything works fine.

Aug 18, 2009I have Windows 7 Pro (RTM) installed on a DELL Precision M65 laptop.
My LAN interface reports "Cable unplugged" although the cable is inserted and working.
I have no network connection through this interface.
the onboard NIC is a Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit adapter and the driver reports it is working correctly.
If i try to install the latest driver from Broadcom, Windows says I already have the latest driver installed!
Any Suggestions?

I uninstalled windows live mail from my computer & since then my computer is Verrrry slow. if I switch off my adsl the computer's speed is normal.All programs are "not Responsive" when i am connected to the internet..Please help. I ran a virus check (bitdefender ) no viruses were detetected.

When ADSL was OK, I got a active ADSL network there.

How To Use A ADSL Modem's Wifi With A Fiber Connection.
Aug 1, 2012I'm trying to achieve something which I think most might not have tried,starting with what I have
1.Type 2 adsl2+ cpe/iad modem-It has built in wifi.
2.A fiber internet connection.
3.A samsung smart tv with built in lan adapter (40 inch LED-no wifi but wifi ready)
Now the modem which I have mentioned above cannot be used with the fiber internet connection.So,it is just lying waste but I want to use my internet connection provided by my ISP through fiber connection with the modem so that I can use my modem's wifi and lan ports.What I have done was connected my laptop to my modem's wifi and also to my ISP's fiber connection so my laptop is connected to both the networks and now I have tried to establish a bridge connection between the lan connection and the wifi connection I was successful and I was also able to share my internet connection(as shown in my laptop) but when I have checked for the wifi internet connection it is not there(Checked on my mobile-one x and ipad).So is there any way so that I can do this...??Please don't suggest me to use a application like connectify or virtual router to share my fiber internet connection.Now there is a another thing that i have mentioned above my Samsung tv now I have connected one of my modem's lan connection to my tv and tried to use the all share application(my laptop is connected to the same modem through wifi) in my laptop I have found my tv and the laptop connected to the modem(Control PanelNetwork and InternetNetwork Map)but my tv is not at all recognizing my laptop and my laptop is also not finding my tv(in the allshare application).If my first problem of getting my internet to the modem's wifi is possible then I also want to try that for the modem's lan connection so that I can avoid the pain of buying a samsung wifi dongle which costs more than 10% of my tv's price.

Sep 9, 2012All PSU SATA power cables I've seen have only four connectors on each cable. Assuming the rail can handle the load and the wire used is large enough to avoid a voltage drop, is there any reason why there can't be more than four HDDs on a cable?
What I am wanting to do is run an SSD (boot/program) and six data drives (probably 2 TB WD Greens) on a single cable that I can make up (the PSU is a modular Corsair HX750; a bit oversized but that will cut down on heat and, hopefully, increase the life of the PSU) to cut down on cable clutter (the case I want to use is a bit tight; space to put it is a problem so it needs to be small). The original cables are made with 18 AWG wire. By using #14 AWG wire, the calculated voltage drop at the last HDD in the string (the SDD would be first) will actually be less than on the Corsair cable. The computer would read or write to no more than two of the HDDs (and the SDD) at any one time. There will also be two hot swap bays (3.5" and 2.5") in the computer (for making back ups) as well as an optical drive but each one of those three will get their own cable.
