I did a error scan with HD Tune Pro on a 2TB WDEADS20 and it says that error at 63248 MB.
The health status says I have 16 unstable sectors. How can I find which file is damaged before backing up my files to another drive?
I don't see my optical drive on my computer window box. I uninstalled the driver for my optical drive and reinstalled it (HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50F). I still do not see the optical drive listed. In the device status window, under the general tab of the device manager window, is shown this message:
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"
When I uninstall and allowed the computer to find the driver online, the same failure is shown. The computer window box still doesn't show my optical drive.
I have established that I have a damaged or corrupted file in Windows 7. The file name is "Fltmgr.sys". How to get a new copy and replace it. I do have the OS disk. ?

The problem is, that the file it wants to open, is located in AppDataRoamingLOVEsfsdfr.exe if i go there, the file isnt there (neither is the LOVE folder, tho i can just type the destination). I do have show hidden files and folders on. Even if i go to CMD navigate to the folder, and type dir it doesnt show it.I however know the file exists, because opening the files via this path: C:Users {Username}AppData RoamingLOVEsfsdfr.exe gives me before mentioned popup.so, i tried removing the file via cmd. I tried DEL and it didn't work. It couldn't find the file.I am pretty sure the file exists, and its behaviour makes me suspicious. Any help on removeing it?

Now when I try to open any dialup connection I get the error: Cannot load the remote access connection manager service. Error 711: the operation could not finish because it could not start the remote access connection manager service in time. Please try the operation again. See attached image. i have a toshiba satellite laptop,running win7 home premium and 4 gigs of ram. when i try to boot up i get a black screen prompting that it couldnt find the winload.exe file....i dont have a copy of windows as this was preinstalled...i also cant get to safe mode ,but its not b.s.o.d...additionally it is only 3 months old ,so is there a way to contact microsoft and have them send me a copy of win 7..or ami just gonna have to buy the operating sys,and just cold install ?..ive tried various c/prompts,but if anyone has any i havent tried im willing to try anything...i dont care about the files on my laptop..i just want the computer i paid for.

Im not good with computers at all but I have Windows 7 and I played it on this computer before and I have a good computer so I know it's compatible.I put the Cd in and click the green launch Icon and the main menu comes up. I click install then it comes up with the four total wars and I check all of them and click next, and then when I get to the next page it asks me to put in disc 2 and select where I would like to install it. I put in the Cd and then pick where to install it (Default is the CD it is being installed from) I have tried my C drive and my external drive but neither works. A error message pops up and says Setup could not find a file or the specified path or disc. Please check that the proper disk is insert or specify new path.
