Cannot find 'file ///C:/Program%20files%20(x86)/Wajam/IE/res/wajam.html' make sure the path or internet address is correct. This just started this morning for every internet address I try to access.
I am using 350 GB hard disk. C: is 100 which I am fine with.D: is 250 GB. (Though it is showing as 229 GB). I have used 74 GB of space in it. But "My computer" is showing as 7.8 GB free. I am unable to find what happened to another 160 GB. I did not find a way to identify which program/file is using this space?
I don't know where this error hs_err_pid came from.I closed down explorer and there were all this notepad messages on my desktop and I can't get rid of them. Researching, I know this is a Java thing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. My windows update is fully updated.I've run 3 virus programs.I notice this was addressed for someone using XP but what of Windows 7? My add/remove program file only contines the program Java (TM) update 29. Nothing else is listed as far as Java is concerned.I've run cleaner programs and these did not take care of the problem. Every time I restart my machine these errors immediate pop up at start up.
Some application(s) on my computer is modifying of MP3 files. When I look at the time and date, on a mp3 folder that I haven't modified in months or years, it shows the current date and the last time it was modified.
This issue is messing up my local and online backup because it is backing up the same files over and over because something is modifying my folder/files.Is there a way to find out which program in modifying my mp3's? I am using Itunes 10 on Windows 7.
The issue here is all my programs would freeze and I was like wth is going on? So after it happened a couple of times, I finally figured out what was going on. The system was using cpu power ranging from 20 to 50 percent and my ram was using roughly 20 to 32 percent. The weird thing about this is my computer cpu usually is around 2-5 percent and ram is around 5-12 percent when doing normal day activities.I have a vortex 120 gb and I have it updated to the latest software. My hypothesis is that there is a system defragging working in the background because I see my hard drive space going up and down. It'll go down 20gb and go back up. Sometimes goes down a lot sometimes not that much.I have three programs and I've tried closing all three.
Bitdefender-no auto defrag Iobit advance system care- I turned auto defrag off but even it the settings it's already checkmark not to defrag ssd tuneuputilites- turned off auto defrag also and same thing as earlier, there's already a checkmark to not defrag ssd edit(forgot to mention that I turned system auto defrag off also)I ran antivirus scan and malware scan already with no luck.So here's where the big mystery comes into play. Even though there is cpu usage and ram usage when I go to windows task manager, I can't find anything that shows it's using ram and cpu even though it is.Very annoying with everything freezing. Even if I restart it still continues.
just wondering if it is possible to find out if a certain program was running on my computer at a given time. I'm not talking about a scheduled task, but I had a program running at night, woke up and it wasn't running, so is there a way to tell what time it was last running or stopped?

I have been trying to install a weather programme. I have had a lot of problems so un-installed it. When I try to manually delete a few remaining files I get a message that "Errorther instance of the program's .exe file is running. Program will be terminated." How do I find this to get rid of it? Nothing shows up outside of the programme files (x86) when I search.

After many different repair options, I've managed to get my network partially going again. My network is WLAN based.DHCP client will not start - error = "error 2, The system cannot find the file specified".I can ping 127.0.0.1, my gateway IP, my other PCs on the network but I still cannot ping localhost - error = "Ping request could not find the host localhost. Please check the name and try again".Just tried to update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it gave me the error : "PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (0, 0, DNS error)
If I try to install a driver and not all of the driver files are present, I will get the error message "The system cannot find the file specified." But the problem is that it doesn't actually tell me what file it can't find. There is a large empty space right underneath the error, as if something should be in that spot, but the file name is not listed there.(The above example is if you were to update the driver manually. Like if you were to click 'Update Driver', then 'Browse my computer for driver software', then 'Browse' to the directory with the INF file in it, and then click 'Next'.)In Windows XP, if you received the same error, it would show you the name of the missing file.
