View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I try to install a driver and not all of the driver files are present, I will get the error message "The system cannot find the file specified." But the problem is that it doesn't actually tell me what file it can't find. There is a large empty space right underneath the error, as if something should be in that spot, but the file name is not listed there.(The above example is if you were to update the driver manually. Like if you were to click 'Update Driver', then 'Browse my computer for driver software', then 'Browse' to the directory with the INF file in it, and then click 'Next'.)In Windows XP, if you received the same error, it would show you the name of the missing file.

View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery time i boot my pc, it asks me if i want to run this .exe since its an unknown publisher (pretty standard). The problem is, that the file it wants to open, is located in AppDataRoamingLOVEsfsdfr.exe if i go there, the file isnt there (neither is the LOVE folder, tho i can just type the destination). I do have show hidden files and folders on. Even if i go to CMD navigate to the folder, and type dir it doesnt show it.I however know the file exists, because opening the files via this path: C:Users {Username}AppData RoamingLOVEsfsdfr.exe gives me before mentioned popup.so, i tried removing the file via cmd. I tried DEL and it didn't work. It couldn't find the file.I am pretty sure the file exists, and its behaviour makes me suspicious. Any help on removeing it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I bought this like a year ago and only had the basic Medieval installed (Without kingdoms) I got into it again and wanted to play it with kingdoms so I deleted Medieval and tried reinstalling it again. Im not good with computers at all but I have Windows 7 and I played it on this computer before and I have a good computer so I know it's compatible.I put the Cd in and click the green launch Icon and the main menu comes up. I click install then it comes up with the four total wars and I check all of them and click next, and then when I get to the next page it asks me to put in disc 2 and select where I would like to install it. I put in the Cd and then pick where to install it (Default is the CD it is being installed from) I have tried my C drive and my external drive but neither works. A error message pops up and says Setup could not find a file or the specified path or disc. Please check that the proper disk is insert or specify new path.

If the User Information for Office 2010(HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOfficeCommonUserInfo) equals the local admin default "UserInfo" then
go to ldap/active directory and, using the client's "logon name", find the client in ldap and use their "Display Name" as the value for the String "UserName" in HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOfficeCommonUserInfo I found this bit of code to get me started... but this code doesn't "call out to active directory"
reg add HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftOfficeCommonUserInfo /v UserName /d %username% /f
Where do i find some one to review my logfile after combi fix completes it process? anyone here who can do it ?
