A photo editing programme that was fine in XP has overlapping instruction bars and small pale text in some areas to the point of being illegible. I've just down loaded another one and it is similar. Could this be some sort of formatting problem? XL customer files were really bad but I finally got on top of that by formatting.
View 15 RepliesI have been using Thunderbird for my e-mail account. Somehow, Thunderbird was updated to 10.0. Now my e-mail texts are so small that I can barely read them. I downloaded an application that allowed me to increase the size of the fonts in the listing. However, the messages are still small. I tried setting the options to a larger font but that did not work. Two questions: Is there some way to increase the size of the text in both the email list and the messages. Two, can I just remove the new version and download an earlier version of Thunderbird. I don't know what version I was using, but I was perfectly satisfied with it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have my display setting so that my desk top icons are just right but when I open programs the text is almost too small to see, especially in Incredimail the email list is very small but when I open an email file the text is fine as I can enlarge it from a drop down pannel. I have windows7 and my monitor is 23.5" Samsung. Everything else is ok just the very small text is driving me mad.

I have Windows 7 64bit and use pale moon 15.2.1 as my main browser.When I compose an email in hotmail and paste a link,it doesn't show as a link, just the link text, so my recipient cannot click on it to go to the link.If I use IE9 it works, in older versions of pale moon it worked?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Windows 7 64 bit gives me "not responding" every few minutes. It is not a hardware problem because this VelociRaptor had on XP Pro for years and the Vertex is still running XP.seriously suspect it is a memory problem because early in the morning it will go for about 30 minutes before the first crash and then it gets progressively worse until every 20 or 30 seconds it gives "not responding" which always corrects itself (after the screen goes pale) and then you hear a lot of hard drive activity.There are no processes using excessive CPU or memory when this happens. This is a downloaded version and I built the ISO and upgraded XP. I have tried another upgrade DVD but that crashes during install.
View 9 Replies View RelatedOk this is wierd I have a client using Office 2007 pro and some of her docs that she recently updated and the problem is when she prints the docs text that she deleted is printing over the top of new text she inserted into the doc.
Now when you have said doc open in WORD the deleted text is not there in any view and does NOT show in "print preview".
I opened said doc with WORDPAD and the deleted text shows up at the bottom so its still in the word doc somewhere imbedded so it prints over the top of the actual text in the doc.
I had windows vista 32 bit earlier. Then I got windows 7 professional upgrade in trial period. I didn't notice how it happened. Of course it must be my mistake. Now when i boot from windows 7 it shows 64 bit and in vista it shows 32 bit. The system asks before booting which one to choose. It's today only that I have installed but I am not facing any problem as such except that i need a product key within 30 days. Should i leave as it is or uninstall vista somehow. Would i be able to reboot my system using the 32 bit vista CD?

If you do a search in Windows XP, you get a bunch of fields. You can pick to search for text INSIDE the particular sub folder structure.
I have found this feature in Windows 7, but it is different. I have tried using wild cards but it does not seem to work properly.
How do I insert my pictures inside the text or beside the text so it won't use so much space?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAll of the sudden, when I want to copy and paste something in the same document, the formatted text (whether that be a certain font or bold) does not transfer over to the pasted text. For instance, if I wanted to copy the following bolded word word and then paste it anywhere else in the document, I now get this: word (without the bold). This applies to other cutting and pasting problems: this applies to other fonts and formatting (bold, my Greek font, etc).One more example: before today, if I wanted to cut a text out of my New Testament Greek program right in the middle of a paragraph, the Greek font (or whatever font) would paste normally no matter what font the target MS Word text was in.

Now every single time I start watching a new video file it starts out in a little windowed box like 3 inches by 3 inches and I have to expand it out by dragging it out.I reloaded my pc and now it wont keep the size I like it at, is there is a option or something Im missing? I could try copying the ntuser.dat but fear I will still have issues with paths, and other defaults that will cause the same problem I had originally.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI installed Win 7RC 32 onto a 160 GB hard disk which I partitioned. I allocated about 25 GB to C: system, and formatted the rest on to a D: drive for data. I've found that this may have been a mistake, as getting program installations to default over to D: are problematic (and not recommended by Microsoft, as per some previous threads I've read here).
And so I am running out of C space, and have several programs "manually" installed over to D. Quite frankly this is a pain, and I am about ready to throw in the towel and just try to extend the C drive. But maybe there is a way to avoid?
My question is this: what's my best approach to correct all this? Specifically, I'd like (if it is possible) for all my libraries/directories to default to D: so that I can readily reinstall Windows 7 (or downgrade) the C: System drive should it become necessary. This was my original goal and hope. I was able to have this with XP, although that was some time ago and I forgot the steps.
Anyone have an good suggestions for me, or should I just extend C: and give up this idea?
