Reformatting Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit System - Process Initialization Failed

I have a system I have used for a while now and I actually reformatted a few months ago. The system has been working great with no problems but recently during a boot up I noticed an issue. Right when Windows begins its setup to take you to the login screen I noticed a bluescreen and a quick reboot. So I used F8 to boot from the last known good config, no change. I went and disabled the automatic reboot after a crash so I could read the error and it's the:
"Process1_initialization_failed" error.
I looked around for that error and found this: Fix: STOP 0x0000006B PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED Blue Screen | The Windows Club
However, when I tried to get into the C: to remove that file, it said "Access Denied" and locked me out. I have yet to be able to get into the system since. To make matters worse I gave up and decided to just reformat the drive and start fresh. However, when I load up my Windows Installation DVD it is noticeably slow, it takes 5-10 minutes to go from step to step. So I got to the "Install" button screen, clicked it and it says "Setup is starting..." and then...nothing. It just stays on that screen for a long time, I gave it 30 minutes last night. So I'm unable to even reformat.
I have a laptop which has stopped running since yesterday evening and gives me this error on a dialog box due to which I am not able to logon to the system. When I restart my machine, it gives me 4 options i.e.
Safe Mode Safe Mode with Networks Safe Mode using command prompt Logon normally
I tried all 4 of them if atleast any of these allows me to login, but none worked. I referred to the solutions and fixes available on the internet, but all of them says that I need to press F8, enter into a safe mode and operate the issue from there. But even pressing F8 doesn't make any change.
I just did a clean install of windows 7 ultimate and I got this error before it booted into the desktop and my computer restarted and then logged into the desktop and all is working fine at the moment I've checked my logs and nothing is been reported there should I be woried or will it be ok
I recently received a new ASUS Eee PC running Windows 7 Starter. It started fine the first 3 or 4 times I have tried to use it, but now, I am receiving this error message: "Interactive logon process initialization has failed. Please consult the event log for more details". I get the same message in safe mode, and the Repair Your Computer and Last Known Good Configuration options do not work. The computer has not created a system restore point, and I could not burn a system image due to lack of a burner (I have an external one on order).
I have a PC that dual boots both XP and 7. Yesterday, I restarted my computer to go from 7 to XP to play a game, all fine and dandy so far. When I came back onto windows 7, the Windows intro logo loads, disappears as usual, but instead of loading by desktop, I get :
"Interactive logon process initialization has failed. Please consult the event log for more details."
So I decided to go check my event log. I booted on XP, went to G:WindowsSystem32winevtLogs, copied the file : Application.evtx to my USB key, and opened it up on another Win 7 system to check it out. I thought I could find the error, but I can't get any logs out of the event log. The last entry being a month ago for some reason. I want to avoid formatting my Win 7 partition at all costs. Also :
- Safe mode doesn't work - System restore doesn't work - System repair doesn't work.
I've tried almost everything so far. I do in fact have complete access to my G: partition, which is my Windows 7 partition.
BSOD: The session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000000, 0x00000000) I'm getting this on a shop system running Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit. The last thing I did was shutdown before going home and I believe it installed an update then shutdown, so I'm suspecting the update caused the problem.
I can't get into the F8 Safe Mode screen to try Last known good configuration so I think I'll try a System Restore from the install DVD. Does that sound like a good approach?
I don't have the specs with me but I think it's a 2.8Ghz Dual core Intel with 4GB RAM and two SATA drives. It's been running fine for about a year.
I have a HP Mini netbook with Windows 7 starter and when it boots up, the screen goes black, but flickers, and puts the computer into a sleep mode, where the power button light starts to blink. Sometimes the screen flickers enought so you can see a faint faded error message but the mouse cursor is unresponsive. When I press (not hold) the power switch, sometimes the display will turn on for 2-3 seconds but the mouse cursor/keyboard is still usually unresponsive. There's sometimes a error message that appears when the display is temporarily on that reads:"Interactive logon process initialization has failed"but the screen goes blank before anything can be clicked...The computer starts fine in safe mode, and with a minimal boot(sysconfig), but chkdsk, windows memory diagnostic, and startup repair are unable to find any issues.I recently booted into safe mode and uninstalled the display drivers via device manager, rebooted and it worked fine, I thought I fixed it, but when I shut down windows, windows finished installing updates and the problem started right back up again.
"interactive logon process initialization has failed. Please consult the event log for more details" I have been google-ing for hours, with lots of mixed answers. It seems like a very popular problem but no direct step-by-step answer to fixing it? I am not a guru, but have medium level knowledge if someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction!
I can access F8 and startup repair (no effect/no issues found)
When I try to boot my HP Compaq laptop I get this message in a dialog box. This computer has been overheating and either powers down itself or we power it down.
Anyone got a clue how to fix it??already searched for it using google..but couldnt get a step by step solution.. i got the system repair disc created from another computer..
I have a Toshiba Laptop which generate this message 'Logon Process Initialization Failure' Interactive logon process initialization has failed please consult the event log for more details' after I ran a AVAST Boot Virus scan. However I could not reached the logon sreen to continue on to get to my destop. I am stuck.

I have a Dell Inspiron n5010 for about two years. I downloaded a large-file game recently, but when I realized that it made my computer freeze, I uninstalled. After that, my laptop suddenly shut down and rebooted, but it automatically went to Startup Repair. I tried to do System Restore, Dell Datasafe Restore, Safe Mode, Last Known Good Configuration, and all options on F8 screen options. I have a hp 4 month old laptop. I used it yesterday, turned it off, when I turned it back on 4 hours later, it gave me a message that it needed to do a chkdisk, so it ran that, then started in what looks like safemode. It gave me an error message that says "Windows Socket Initialization Failed". I did a little research and tried to do a system restore, there are no restore points found. i just went out buy a brand new gaming computer. Take about 2 hours to hook the thing up and press the power button and expect the greatest, but to my dismay I receive the error "Interactive Login Process Initialization failed". I WAS in 64 bit mode but had a system failure and had to reinstall.Since then I haven't been able to install in 64 bit mode. No matter what I try it always installs the 32 bit version.I've even re-partitioned my hard drive in order to get a completely fresh install. But nothing seems to work.Windows "knows" my system in 64 bit capable. In the Control Panel - View basic info about your computer it shows my processor as "AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ 2.4 GHz".Is there a way coerce a 64 bit install?
So I am planning to upgrade into Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I just wanna know what are the system requirements for it? at the moment I have Windows 7 32bit Home Premium, 2GB RAM, and Pentium (R) Dual-Core CPU 2.60 GHz (going to upgrade the CPU soon.)
The above failure has occured ("logon process initialization failure" ). what happend before:
- CPU over heated error upon startup -- cleaned computer --cleaned & applied new thermal paste (old stuff was dry) --- outcome: CPU over heat error upon startup --Did a BIOS repair and update --Did a Windows update
i just crashed som1 64 bit lennovo laptop while i opperate a 32 bit pc dont have any windows system with me,it wont start on safe mode,and system repair has failed many times.the laptop was running on low battry and it shut itself,when i tryed to reboot it,it automaticly went to system repair which failed
When I reboot the laptop to install Windows XP, it goes well. But when it comes to the page where you can Select, Delete or Create a partition, the laptop's system drive is not showing. The page only shows the USB drive as my drive C, because it is my priority right? So now, I cannot reformat the laptop because the system drive of the laptop is not showing. What and where is the problem? Is it the bootable USB? or there is another way to make a downgrade? or the problem is my system drive?
So a while back I was watching a video and a pop up appeared and I it asked me if I wanted to download something and I clicked no. But that same pop up continuously appeared and I accidentally clicked yes. The computer froze so I forced shut down and whrn I tried to turn it on again, the BSOD appeared. It turned off a second time and then when it restared, the safe mode window appeared and I ran that and it tried to fix the problem but now whenever I try to get on, there is a black screen with a window that says" interactive logon process has failed. I have a problem with my DVD drive. When a DVD begins to burn I get an error, "Burn Process Failed". There is no firmware upgrade for my DVD player, what is the cause.
My PC is set up for dual booting...first OS installed is Windows XP sp3 and the second is Windows 7 Ultimate x32. Both are installed on separate hard drives. I want to reformat the drive with Windows 7 on it and do a clean install of itctions on how to do this? For some reason I can't get the PC to boot up with the DVD disc instead of the hard drives, and I don't know much about the BIOS to mess around in there.
i will be building a new PC soon and I want to use my old HD in the new PC which has Win 7 32bit installed and working fine. The new PC is a 64 bit machine so I will need to move to the 64bit version of Win 7 which came with the 32bit on another dvd.So my question is, What do I need to know before I start the process of going to 64bit Win 7?

This laptop is only 3 weeks old. I ran sfc scan on my old computer (about 5 years old), expecting many corrupt files but it showed no damaged files.
Can I upgrade from Windows ultimate 32bit ver 6.1 ( build 7600) to windows 7 ultimate 64bit edition and keep all of my installed programs and files ?[meaning not having them moved to a new folder called windows.old]
I had an old thread on Windows 7 running really unreliable on my system, and after speaking with a Sony support person today, I've found out that Sony does not support Windows 7 on my system. It's a bummer but, at any rate, I'm trying to put Windows XP back on the system.I've downloaded the Windows XP Professional with SP3 from MSDN student website.I have the ISO burned to a disc, and I boot the computer from CD drive.After the initial setup, it ask to start windows and press enter.I do so, and I says to select the drive I wish to reformat.There are four slots, all of which say "No drive found" Whenever you press ANY button, I get a BSOD.Any reason as to why it doesn't recognize any drives, or why I can't get any further into the process without it crashing?
I just loaded windows went as far as accepting key code #'s and it went to update registry and it crashed. After waiting to see if was going to reboot five minutes I rebooted and it starts with wanting an option to start windows and it will run to the start of the logo build and crashes and restarts the cycle of windows startup options ???
