I recently just bought a Razer Naga 2012 for my comp. Should I have gotten the death adder instead? I play bf3, mw3, skyrim, gta iv, cod4, minecraft, sniper elite v2, and more Or do you think I went well with the Naga because of the extra buttons and possibilities?
So I purchased a Razer Naga because I loved the idea of 12 buttons right on the side for my thumb and since I work at home and pretty much just sleep, eat, and work around this computer I only put it on Sleep Mode. But when I moved my mouse around the next day it wouldn't start up. So I unplugged it and took it back got another one. Same problem occurred. Check to see if it would wake the computer from standby and it was checked. So then I moved on to updating the Firmware. Problem still occurred. So I'm wondering is this Razer's fault or perhaps my Motherboard not being power up enough? I do have a 5 year old power supply on my high end computer that's 550 watts due to my 1000 watt dying.
I bought the Razer Lycosa tonight and plugged it in looking forward to using it but upon loading the computer my bios has gone so slow i see each letter as if it's being typed out and cannot load windows.I have plugged in another keyboard and managed to open my BIOS (blue menu bit). I'm not technical really I just liked the look of the keyboard. I think it's a software related issue?Above all I need my computer back working but has anyone come across this before?I noticed I had some windows updates recently and also read a similar thread of which I can no longer find on this web site.
Twice in the last week the computer has locked up and required me to reset it whilst playing Football Manager 2012. There is actually no BSoD shown the game just freezes up completely until I press the reset button. I can't remember any BSoD before when using Windows 7.Most of the computer is 3-4 years old, and I can't remember when I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on it probably over 18 months ago when I got a new Graphics Card. The only new hardware in the last few months is a new Razer mouse to replace a faulty ROCCAT mouse, nothing else has changed. Temperatures don't seem to be a big problem and Memtest didn't find any problems, but I haven't had time to run Memtest for more then 3 passes or get inside the case to look at the hardware.
I haven't been able to get the Vista 64 drivers to work for my Razer Barracuda AC-1 sound card. I didn't know about the driver signing conflict, and tried to install. When the OS kicked it out, I tried to find a way to disable driver signing. While I appear to have stopped the check, uninstalling and installing the drivers is still not working. I seem to have the drivers permanently flagged by Win 7 as unsigned.
Does anyone have any recommendations for trying to get my card working?
I'm happy to say my Razer Death Adder Mouse software (just loaded) works fine in Windows 7 RC1 build 7100 installed in XP SP3 compat mode (love this mouse )
I have both these mice and currently running windows 7 build 7600. anyways i can get both mice to work in windows although while in a game (warcraft 3) neither games let the side buttons work. the side buttons work to what i program them to in windows but when i start war3 the buttons don't work at all.
btw the lachesis seems also to be not tracking properly in war3 cursor stops working for like 2 secs or its jumpy so i running the adder which seems to be fine except for the buttons not working in games. really wish i could get teh lachesis to work properly though adder is too slow. any help or any similar problems?
I have a problem with my Razer DeathAdder since I started using Windows 7 on my computer.
Last time, when I used Windows XP I hadn't had this kind of problem...
alright, so when I specify macro assignment on Button 4 and 5 of my Razer DeathAdder (the 2 buttons that u press with your thumb), my razer starts not working in Warcraft III game.
It works if I use notepad, but not in warcraft game..
I am using Firmware ver 1.27 and Driver ver 1.09...
I am logged in as administrator in my windows.
If anyone had experienced this problem, and it was solved.
I just bought the SC2 spectre gaming mouse and i downloaded the driver and the mouse is not recognized when i try to configure it. i have it plugged into my usb drive and the lights all come on but the mouse does not work still. i have to use my old mouse?
I've recently acquired a Win 7 PC. I installed a Razer Lycosa keyboard and found out quickly that the "show desktop" shortcut keys (Windows key +D) don't work. I also noticed if I happen to have a search box open, it will enter a D when I try to use the shortcut. This keyboard has worked fine on a XP machine. I also dowloaded the driver from the Razer site and installed it with no change.
How do you go about installing the drivers in compatibility mode? I'm buying the deathadder tomorrow and I know that it comes with a disk to install the drivers from but I've heard they work better while under windows xp sp3 compatability mode. How do you install under compatability mode from the cd? Right click the cd and chose compatability mode?
I own a Barracuda AC-1 as well as a HP-1 headset. I had this set up in Windows XP 32bit and got it working brilliantly? However, I recently purchased Windows 7 64bit Home Premium. I installed it this weekend but I have been having trouble setting up the soundcard and headphones to get the same result as I get in Windows XP. I have installed the Windows 7 64bit (Compatible) driver. This time, however, there is no Barracuda AC-1 Control Panel (green and black screen) which normally allows me to make specific changes to the audio. I have only been able to select and test the speakers within Windows 7 Playback Devices. I have played with Quadraphonic, 5.1 and 7.1 settings and still have been unable to achieve the same result as achieved in Windows XP. In fact, if I play some music it only plays through the front two channels as I tested turning down the front channel volume on the headphone volume controller and this turned off all sound.how I can achieve the same result as achived within XP where I have a AC-1 Control Panel (green and black screen) and achieve full sound through all channels.
So every since I switched from window xp to window 7, my razer barracuda sound card driver does not detect 5.1 speakers. The option to change the DB for each speakers is not there anymore. Is this because the driver for window 7 is not out? Or is it window 7 in general and I need to change some settings. Please let me know what it is! :]
I am having some weird issues with my mouse I can't drag and drop for the love of god, when I do it double click the application or something drop it and choose a new anchor point.I have reinstall drivers, plug it out delete the driver and plug it on another usb port
I am getting a Razer Deathadder 3500 DPI Gaming Mouse for Christmas from amazon.com. I am really excited about it but heard it had driver and firmware issues that could totally break the mouse. What should I do when I receive the mouse? Should I use the CD Drivers, plug in the mouse and then update them from razerzone.com? Should I install the drivers, plug in the mouse, then install the firmware? Should I install the CD, plug in the mouse then install the drivers and firmware from razerzone? I have heard that you should install the drivers and then the firmware. DON'T Want this mouse to break the first day. Oh and I don't even know if it comes with a CD
At first I thought it was just a problem with my mouse but my roommate who has the same mouse is having the same issue. For some reason the scroll-wheel on this mouse is not responding properly. When I scroll up or down it sometimes skips the wrong direction (I.e. if i scroll down it will go up about half the time making it very imprecise and take twice as long). This has only started happening since I've had Windows 7 installed (my roommate is also using Windows 7)
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue with Windows 7 and the Razer Deathadder mouse. It's pretty annoying and I'm almost at the point where I'm just going to buy something else.
I own an older Razer Diamondback mouse back from my 2005 build. It has always behaved a little strangely in that it would sometimes not power on when the computer boots up, forcing me to replug it into its USB slot. This behavior persisted through my May 2010 build. Just the other day, however, I noticed that I got a BSOD after replugging the mouse. The culprit was razerlow.sys, a reference to a Razer Diamondback driver. And just this morning, it happened again. (I am including the full error below.)I have not updated my Diamondback driver before this BSOD occurred. Since the BSOD, I uninstalled the driver/software and installed the latest driver from May of this year, but this BSOD occurred again this morning after this update. The only other times I've experienced BSODs are with ATI drivers 10.5-10.11 (I've been on 10.4 until this year), so maybe my recent update to 11.6 has something to do with this? I have made no changes to my hardware, drivers (except ATI), etc. between the last replugging that did not cause a BSOD and the one that did. This error only happens when replugging the mouse when it doesn't boot up. If the mouse boots up and I replug it, the error does not occur. I also just switched USB slots and for whatever reason a Windows pop-up stated that the device is being installed, when it must have been installed the whole time.

Running Windows 7 64bit, and for the past few weeks I cannot download anything or use firefox/internet explorer. My problem began when I wanted to watch Thursday Night Footbal, and stupid me downloaded a single file that was a bad torrrent software. I accepted the one bad piece of garbage torrent software, and then a whole list unwanted and unauthorized software were rolled out and executed on my laptop. These unwanted software incuded 'Babylon:Translate Toolbar" among other useless pieces of bad software. The moment I hit the dreaded open and run, I knew there was a serious problem and I should have neve done that.
I have run several scans in their updated state when I was able to download updated viruse definitions for: Norton, Windows Security Essentials, Spybot, and something on the microsoft website. Spybot and Win Sec Essentials both found some garbage. Malware and a no less than 2 Trojans. I deleted both, but that was just the beginning of my problems. Because from that point forward, I slowly lost my ability to download anything.I can open FF/IE, but cannot connect to a webpage. when I type something it the URL I get hourglass and "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" I received a similiar warning in FF.
I spent a few days trying to uninstall a whole lot of unused programs and anything i viewed as unessential, including Firefox, ComcastSpyware, anything "Real" or Yahoo or MS Live/Messenger. The only way i'm able to communicated no is through the 64bit version of IE. Anyway, i wanted to download Norton Virus Removal tool yesterday, and have come to the point now where I cannot download anything. This is by far the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my 10 years and 4 computer life span. I'm considering a clean reformatting and starting anew, but i don't have the windows disks I got with this computer that is now 3 years old.perhaps even a way to bypass this virus, redirect, or unwanted firewall that is preventing me from downloading or surfing the web. Or B) Provide instructions on how to do a comlete drive wipe and arrive at a clean disk reformatting excercise without any windows disks.
Note: I do not want to avoid a system restore of any kind, as I've found those to be more problematic in some cases. I have not doneany system restores in the three+ years i've had this machine.

Windows Defender. This program is turned off. If you are using another program that checks for harmful or unwanted software use the Action Center to check that program's status. If you would like to use this program click here to turn it on.I've tried so many things I'm running out of patience. There seems to be nothing in Action Center that is relevant and I can't uninstall Defender as there's no option so I went to Services and disabled it. Still I get the message. I've tried a Command Prompt that should have disabled it, but no luck. I went to the AVG forum which is definitely not user friendly. I rang the free phone number only to find that a) I couldn't hear the operator and she couldn't hear me and b) it's only the phone call that's free - the service isn't.
I used to installed TuneUp Utilities 2012, and use its program disabler.. When i uninstalled it, a few program cant be started@used again.. Some of the program are Google Chromes and Daemon Tools Lite..
PC TuneUp Utilities 2011/2012 TuneUp Utilities 2012 So what you all think about this software on WINDOWS 7 all versions. Is it worth installing.Won't it hurt the registry or any other kind of weak point in Windows 7?
as me may know Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete is a cloud bases security protector...can it be used offline? I've been KIS 2012 user for many years before and I love it so much. But when I see Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete...
