I have a problem with my Razer DeathAdder since I started using Windows 7 on my computer.
Last time, when I used Windows XP I hadn't had this kind of problem...
alright, so when I specify macro assignment on Button 4 and 5 of my Razer DeathAdder (the 2 buttons that u press with your thumb), my razer starts not working in Warcraft III game.
It works if I use notepad, but not in warcraft game..
I am using Firmware ver 1.27 and Driver ver 1.09...
I am logged in as administrator in my windows.
If anyone had experienced this problem, and it was solved.
How do you go about installing the drivers in compatibility mode? I'm buying the deathadder tomorrow and I know that it comes with a disk to install the drivers from but I've heard they work better while under windows xp sp3 compatability mode. How do you install under compatability mode from the cd? Right click the cd and chose compatability mode?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am getting a Razer Deathadder 3500 DPI Gaming Mouse for Christmas from amazon.com. I am really excited about it but heard it had driver and firmware issues that could totally break the mouse. What should I do when I receive the mouse? Should I use the CD Drivers, plug in the mouse and then update them from razerzone.com? Should I install the drivers, plug in the mouse, then install the firmware? Should I install the CD, plug in the mouse then install the drivers and firmware from razerzone? I have heard that you should install the drivers and then the firmware. DON'T Want this mouse to break the first day. Oh and I don't even know if it comes with a CD
View 5 Replies View RelatedAt first I thought it was just a problem with my mouse but my roommate who has the same mouse is having the same issue. For some reason the scroll-wheel on this mouse is not responding properly. When I scroll up or down it sometimes skips the wrong direction (I.e. if i scroll down it will go up about half the time making it very imprecise and take twice as long). This has only started happening since I've had Windows 7 installed (my roommate is also using Windows 7)
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue with Windows 7 and the Razer Deathadder mouse. It's pretty annoying and I'm almost at the point where I'm just going to buy something else.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently acquired a Win 7 PC. I installed a Razer Lycosa keyboard and found out quickly that the "show desktop" shortcut keys (Windows key +D) don't work. I also noticed if I happen to have a search box open, it will enter a D when I try to use the shortcut. This keyboard has worked fine on a XP machine. I also dowloaded the driver from the Razer site and installed it with no change.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought the Razer Lycosa tonight and plugged it in looking forward to using it but upon loading the computer my bios has gone so slow i see each letter as if it's being typed out and cannot load windows.I have plugged in another keyboard and managed to open my BIOS (blue menu bit). I'm not technical really I just liked the look of the keyboard. I think it's a software related issue?Above all I need my computer back working but has anyone come across this before?I noticed I had some windows updates recently and also read a similar thread of which I can no longer find on this web site.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI haven't been able to get the Vista 64 drivers to work for my Razer Barracuda AC-1 sound card. I didn't know about the driver signing conflict, and tried to install. When the OS kicked it out, I tried to find a way to disable driver signing. While I appear to have stopped the check, uninstalling and installing the drivers is still not working. I seem to have the drivers permanently flagged by Win 7 as unsigned.
Does anyone have any recommendations for trying to get my card working?
I'm happy to say my Razer Death Adder Mouse software (just loaded) works fine in Windows 7 RC1 build 7100 installed in XP SP3 compat mode (love this mouse )

Anyone knows when razer is releasing new win seven drivers?
I recently just bought a Razer Naga 2012 for my comp. Should I have gotten the death adder instead? I play bf3, mw3, skyrim, gta iv, cod4, minecraft, sniper elite v2, and more Or do you think I went well with the Naga because of the extra buttons and possibilities?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI own a Barracuda AC-1 as well as a HP-1 headset. I had this set up in Windows XP 32bit and got it working brilliantly? However, I recently purchased Windows 7 64bit Home Premium. I installed it this weekend but I have been having trouble setting up the soundcard and headphones to get the same result as I get in Windows XP. I have installed the Windows 7 64bit (Compatible) driver. This time, however, there is no Barracuda AC-1 Control Panel (green and black screen) which normally allows me to make specific changes to the audio. I have only been able to select and test the speakers within Windows 7 Playback Devices. I have played with Quadraphonic, 5.1 and 7.1 settings and still have been unable to achieve the same result as achieved in Windows XP. In fact, if I play some music it only plays through the front two channels as I tested turning down the front channel volume on the headphone volume controller and this turned off all sound.how I can achieve the same result as achived within XP where I have a AC-1 Control Panel (green and black screen) and achieve full sound through all channels.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo every since I switched from window xp to window 7, my razer barracuda sound card driver does not detect 5.1 speakers. The option to change the DB for each speakers is not there anymore. Is this because the driver for window 7 is not out? Or is it window 7 in general and I need to change some settings. Please let me know what it is! :]

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy razer mouse button 5 (side button) don't work on win 7... i installed the razer driver (1.00) ... any idea ?
EDIT : NVM , i was in WINDOWS UPDATE , then there was a facilitative update for the razer mice, now all work fine
So I purchased a Razer Naga because I loved the idea of 12 buttons right on the side for my thumb and since I work at home and pretty much just sleep, eat, and work around this computer I only put it on Sleep Mode. But when I moved my mouse around the next day it wouldn't start up. So I unplugged it and took it back got another one. Same problem occurred. Check to see if it would wake the computer from standby and it was checked. So then I moved on to updating the Firmware. Problem still occurred. So I'm wondering is this Razer's fault or perhaps my Motherboard not being power up enough? I do have a 5 year old power supply on my high end computer that's 550 watts due to my 1000 watt dying.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI own an older Razer Diamondback mouse back from my 2005 build. It has always behaved a little strangely in that it would sometimes not power on when the computer boots up, forcing me to replug it into its USB slot. This behavior persisted through my May 2010 build. Just the other day, however, I noticed that I got a BSOD after replugging the mouse. The culprit was razerlow.sys, a reference to a Razer Diamondback driver. And just this morning, it happened again. (I am including the full error below.)I have not updated my Diamondback driver before this BSOD occurred. Since the BSOD, I uninstalled the driver/software and installed the latest driver from May of this year, but this BSOD occurred again this morning after this update. The only other times I've experienced BSODs are with ATI drivers 10.5-10.11 (I've been on 10.4 until this year), so maybe my recent update to 11.6 has something to do with this? I have made no changes to my hardware, drivers (except ATI), etc. between the last replugging that did not cause a BSOD and the one that did. This error only happens when replugging the mouse when it doesn't boot up. If the mouse boots up and I replug it, the error does not occur. I also just switched USB slots and for whatever reason a Windows pop-up stated that the device is being installed, when it must have been installed the whole time.

I've tried my mouse on another computer, it works flawlessly. But it seems like my computer is hating my mouse, it will suddenly freeze with no reason, i have to plug it out and back in to get it back to work but for maybe for few seconds to few minutes, it might freeze again. When i removed all razer driver, my mouse goes back to normal, but why do i have to use without Razer Synapse while i'm having a razer mouse? wtf?

So I just installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on my Sony Vaio VGN-FZ240E Laptop. Everything installed okay and worked just fine until I restarted it for the first time to update my touchpad drivers. After I restarted, my keyboard would not function and Sony provides no drivers for it on their website. Sony also makes it clear that they do not support a Windows 7 upgrade on my model(which is slightly ridiculous, but whatever...).
It's an Intel Core 2 duo, so I know it's 64-bit capable and everything WAS working the first time I installed it. I have no clue what to do, but my laptop keyboard is slightly useless, which poses a big problem, lol. If there is anyone out there with advice, I would greatly appreciate it!
What Keyboard do you like to use, do you have a favourite ?, I use a Logitech G15 on my main Computer and a Chicony KU 0418 on my second Computer, i use these two Computers the most and all in all i prefer the G15, so what do you use ?

My laptop seems to have problems with most USB devices. It is running Win 7 professional 64 bit. Firstly it will only take a HP external keyboard. I have tried a Microsoft KB and a Kensington KB and neither would work. A standard mouse will work OK. Then I tried to use a Plantronic BUA200 BT dongle. Had one working after about 2 days of fiddling, then got a new one and it sits with a yellow triangle saying it needs a driver, but can't find any. The odd thing is the dongle will still pair with the headset. So I bought a USB headset today and gets the same thing. Windows tries to install it, but says it fails to find the drivers. Have run Windows update twice recently, so that is all up to date. USB flash drives seem to be OK.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got my Windows 7 upgrade kit in the mail today. When I got to the Compatibility Report, it told me this:

"These programs might not work properly after the upgrade. We recommend uninstalling these programs before upgrading. Cancel the upgrade, open Control Panel, and search for "uninstall a program". I'm afraid to continue the upgrade because I don't know what's going to happen or how it's going to affect the programs and devices. Should I just go ahead and uninstall everything listed in the second message? And how do I update the driver for the Keyboard Filter? I don't really know what I'm doing.
