Feb 23, 2009I haven't been able to get the Vista 64 drivers to work for my Razer Barracuda AC-1 sound card. I didn't know about the driver signing conflict, and tried to install. When the OS kicked it out, I tried to find a way to disable driver signing. While I appear to have stopped the check, uninstalling and installing the drivers is still not working. I seem to have the drivers permanently flagged by Win 7 as unsigned.
Does anyone have any recommendations for trying to get my card working?
Razer Deathadder + Lachesis
Aug 9, 2009I have both these mice and currently running windows 7 build 7600. anyways i can get both mice to work in windows although while in a game (warcraft 3) neither games let the side buttons work. the side buttons work to what i program them to in windows but when i start war3 the buttons don't work at all.
btw the lachesis seems also to be not tracking properly in war3 cursor stops working for like 2 secs or its jumpy so i running the adder which seems to be fine except for the buttons not working in games. really wish i could get teh lachesis to work properly though adder is too slow. any help or any similar problems?
Razer DeathAdder Problem
Nov 7, 2009I have a problem with my Razer DeathAdder since I started using Windows 7 on my computer.
Last time, when I used Windows XP I hadn't had this kind of problem...
alright, so when I specify macro assignment on Button 4 and 5 of my Razer DeathAdder (the 2 buttons that u press with your thumb), my razer starts not working in Warcraft III game.
It works if I use notepad, but not in warcraft game..
I am using Firmware ver 1.27 and Driver ver 1.09...
I am logged in as administrator in my windows.
If anyone had experienced this problem, and it was solved.
Razer Spectre Not Recognized?
Apr 20, 2012I just bought the SC2 spectre gaming mouse and i downloaded the driver and the mouse is not recognized when i try to configure it. i have it plugged into my usb drive and the lights all come on but the mouse does not work still. i have to use my old mouse?

Dec 9, 2012I've recently acquired a Win 7 PC. I installed a Razer Lycosa keyboard and found out quickly that the "show desktop" shortcut keys (Windows key +D) don't work. I also noticed if I happen to have a search box open, it will enter a D when I try to use the shortcut. This keyboard has worked fine on a XP machine. I also dowloaded the driver from the Razer site and installed it with no change.

I'm buying the deathadder tomorrow and I know that it comes with a disk to install the drivers from but I've heard they work better while under windows xp sp3 compatability mode. Sep 16, 2010I own a Barracuda AC-1 as well as a HP-1 headset. I had this set up in Windows XP 32bit and got it working brilliantly?However, I recently purchased Windows 7 64bit Home Premium. I installed it this weekend but I have been having trouble setting up the soundcard and headphones to get the same result as I get in Windows XP. I have installed the Windows 7 64bit (Compatible) driver. This time, however, there is no Barracuda AC-1 Control Panel (green and black screen) which normally allows me to make specific changes to the audio. I have only been able to select and test the speakers within Windows 7 Playback Devices. I have played with Quadraphonic, 5.1 and 7.1 settings and still have been unable to achieve the same result as achieved in Windows XP. In fact, if I play some music it only plays through the front two channels as I tested turning down the front channel volume on the headphone volume controller and this turned off all sound.how I can achieve the same result as achived within XP where I have a AC-1 Control Panel (green and black screen) and achieve full sound through all channels.

I am really excited about it but heard it had driver and firmware issues that could totally break the mouse. What should I do when I receive the mouse? Razer Deathadder Scroll Wheel Problem
Apr 20, 2009At first I thought it was just a problem with my mouse but my roommate who has the same mouse is having the same issue. For some reason the scroll-wheel on this mouse is not responding properly. When I scroll up or down it sometimes skips the wrong direction (I.e. if i scroll down it will go up about half the time making it very imprecise and take twice as long). This has only started happening since I've had Windows 7 installed (my roommate is also using Windows 7)
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue with Windows 7 and the Razer Deathadder mouse. It's pretty annoying and I'm almost at the point where I'm just going to buy something else.
Razer Naga Does Not Work After Sleep Mode
Jan 28, 2012So I purchased a Razer Naga because I loved the idea of 12 buttons right on the side for my thumb and since I work at home and pretty much just sleep, eat, and work around this computer I only put it on Sleep Mode. But when I moved my mouse around the next day it wouldn't start up. So I unplugged it and took it back got another one. Same problem occurred. Check to see if it would wake the computer from standby and it was checked. So then I moved on to updating the Firmware. Problem still occurred. So I'm wondering is this Razer's fault or perhaps my Motherboard not being power up enough? I do have a 5 year old power supply on my high end computer that's 550 watts due to my 1000 watt dying.

Dec 23, 2011I bought the Razer Lycosa tonight and plugged it in looking forward to using it but upon loading the computer my bios has gone so slow i see each letter as if it's being typed out and cannot load windows.I have plugged in another keyboard and managed to open my BIOS (blue menu bit). I'm not technical really I just liked the look of the keyboard. Jul 2, 2011I own an older Razer Diamondback mouse back from my 2005 build. It has always behaved a little strangely in that it would sometimes not power on when the computer boots up, forcing me to replug it into its USB slot. This behavior persisted through my May 2010 build. Just the other day, however, I noticed that I got a BSOD after replugging the mouse. The culprit was razerlow.sys, a reference to a Razer Diamondback driver. And just this morning, it happened again. (I am including the full error below.)I have not updated my Diamondback driver before this BSOD occurred. Since the BSOD, I uninstalled the driver/software and installed the latest driver from May of this year, but this BSOD occurred again this morning after this update. The only other times I've experienced BSODs are with ATI drivers 10.5-10.11 (I've been on 10.4 until this year), so maybe my recent update to 11.6 has something to do with this? I have made no changes to my hardware, drivers (except ATI), etc. between the last replugging that did not cause a BSOD and the one that did.This error only happens when replugging the mouse when it doesn't boot up. If the mouse boots up and I replug it, the error does not occur. I also just switched USB slots and for whatever reason a Windows pop-up stated that the device is being installed, when it must have been installed the whole time.

Fix A Black Screen Of Death?
Nov 30, 2011Yesterday I was watching a movie on VLC media player when my whole laptop started freezing randomly, and I had to wait 1 minute until it unfroze, and after that it was slow as sh*t and I couldn't even restart it, it would stay stuck on my desktop wallpaper. Then I just got impatient and removed my laptop battery and unplugged the AC cord. Then I restarted my laptop and I couldn't get passed the BIOS, it just showed a black screen with no cursor or anything.
I tried pressing F8 to enter safe mode but the safe mode screen doesn't appear. I also tried doing a system restore from my BIOS but it would just give me an error saying that the restore point was corrupted. Also, I did drop my laptop about 30 mins before this happened, but it wasn't even a 1 foot drop and it was on carpet, but I'm guessing by this that something inside the laptop got dislocated or something. And yes it was the only time I've dropped it. Also, when you let the black screen on for about 15 mins it goes into System Repair but that doesn't do anything at all.
I wouldn't mind just taking it to the shop and completely reinstalling Windows, but I have about 10gb of music and I seriously don't want to lose it. Yes I know I should have backed it up but I've never had a problem before so I didn't expect this.
Can't Log In Blue Screen Of Death
Apr 1, 2012I was just searching the internet- probably on facebook 2 past Friday when (I think) I opened a new tab on Firefox, and everything closed and shut down. Now, it had shut down like this before a couple days before.. However, this time a blue screen of death appeared right after I went into normal mode after the restart.
I tried it in safe mode.. I am able to get in to the log in screen.. then the waiting screen.. then the BSOD. I've heard that it's supposed to tell you what the problem is, but I still don't know what it is. I have some pictures below. They're pretty bad though because I only see it for a second before it disappears.
I've tried diagnostics and repair.. Restoring to 2 weeks ago- spring break. Taking out my "new" devises (memory drives and graphics card) that I installed more than 3 months ago and replacing the memory with the ones it came with. The only thing that I THINK I haven't tried is command prompt (which probably won't help because I don't know how to use it) and the restore to factory setting. I have clicked on it, and it has given me an error (pictures follow.) F2-F8-F12- pressed them all.
Black Screen Of Death?
Jan 30, 2013I hope this is the correct section to put this in. For the past 4 days, I have been trying to fix my computer but I am stumped. My computer is running Windows 7 Professical 32 bit. On Sunday night, I turn on my computer. It starts up like normal, until screen where it asks if I want to boot into Startup Repair (Recommended) or Start Windows Normally. I think nothing of it and just start it normally. After I select that, it reboots and goes back to that boot screen. Naturally, I just let it run Startup Repair. I let it run overnight and in the morning I find my computer with a black screen and movable cursor. I didn't think much of it, so I rebooted and the black screen persists. I look up possible solutions for this (I later found out this problem is called the a Black Screen of Death or KSOD) but have failed to discover a solution.

Jun 28, 2009The full details of my system before anyone can help.The computer is an Intel core 2 duo 6600 2.40 Ghz with 2 meg ram. Nvidia Gforce 8600 GT graphics card. I have no onboard VGA graphics just the Gforce, and I am not sure if I have DVI display the monitor just connects with the normal socket.
The hard drive I am installing to is a 80Gig SATA and I formatted it before starting with the windows 7 RC boot dvd so it is a clean install. I downloaded the installation file and burn the image with Nero on a slow speed.When I boot from the DVD all works ok and the computer restarts a few times, and then just a black screen.
After several attempts i did manage to get as far as inputting the serial number and windows 7 started up it then connected to the internet and downloaded some updates and then restarted and i was back to the black sreen, i could at that time boot into safe mode but i was not able to connect to the internet and download new video drivers.
Then after foollowing some advice i did another install, I tried a reinstall and now I can’t get as far as the serial number. I can’t understand this as I did have it running just the once even if it was in safe mode. I have run the Windows 7 RC upgrade advisor and that says my computer is ok to run Windows 7 including the Gforce card.

Jan 5, 2013I have a Dell Inspiron and whenever I turn my pc on a blue screen flashes and says Windows Cannot Load.. It goes directly to Startup Repair. However, That does not fix the issue.I tried a Recovery Disk for Windows 7 iso and that does not work either.. It started rebooting back to the factory settings but when it completed, and restarted, the blue screen of death was still around.I tried Command Prompt with Scandsk/ f I believe and that did not work at first because it was write protected.. I found a way past that and nothing. At one point it said boot memtest.exe is missing or corrupt.Right now I got into a Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool.. I have no idea how I did but its checking for memory problems. The only way I got to this was by pressing the down button when booting with windows recovery disk via dvd drive.. and when it stated press any button to boot. when I press down it gets to this.Is my hard drive fried? Can this be rectified?

Dec 22, 2011In the last few weeks I've had random Black Screens Of Death. It can happen (most of the time) while playing a game, but it has happened while the PC was idle (rare) and just now it happened as I was attempting to refresh the Win 7 performance index. Most of the time, the screen goes black (complete video signal loss) and I have to hard reset. On the rare occasion it will go black, then after a while crash and dump. The last minidump file I got is included here. It seems fairly obvious that the issue is video related but I can't tell if it's the ATI drivers or a 3rd party driver causing havok with them.I've been trying, with zero success, to get some Driver Verifier output. Once I set Driver Verifier to check the 3rd party drivers it bluescreens during the Windows 7 splash screen and then reboots and loops. What I did do was hit F8 during one of the loops and stopped it from rebooting on error so I could capture the detail of the bluescreen. It's as follows:

I can't tell if this issue is related to my black screen issue.I think the issue is driver related but can't prove it at this point and I'm having difficulty interpreting the addresses above.I've run memtest for a couple of hours and no errors came up.
