Images In My Pictures Folder Getting Dark (Tinted Brown)?
Mar 9, 2011I downloaded some microsoft updates and all the pictures in my picture file are tinted brown. Is there a cure?

Auto-Dim Dark Web Images?
Apr 28, 2011I recently built a new pc and installed seven as my os. I couldn't help but automatically notice that the screen dims to darker images... I have never had this problem before with my monitor. I knew it had to be a seven feature.. Yet I can't disable it... I've tried hardware device options and power saving options... This is a stupid feature... Why would you want to Dim the screen on an already dark image....I cannot play certain games because it gets way to dark to see anything.

I have also noticed that most of the images saved are from websites I have visited. There are hundreds and hundreds of these images stored in my Picture Library folders. I need to know how to remove them and how to stop the programme that's creating them in the first place.

Dec 15, 2011Yesterday i bought new grafic card geforce GT440 after my old 9800 GT stoped functioning normaly(memory failure). So here is the problem, when I start any program or do anything the computer the computer is functioning normally, but when I turn to desktop(which has black wallpaper) the monitor goes so dark that I can't see almost nothing. I tryed to find some power saving options in windows(win 7 pro, 64 bit) and on envidia control panel but i cannot find any cause for that dark screen. Even if I load a black page on my mozilla the monitor goes dark. As it cannot represent dark colors normally.

Drag & drop (left-click) moved the folders to become subfolders, but left the folder icons in the old location as well. When I try to delete them, I get an error message saying the folder doesn't exist at that location. OK, it shouldn't, but why can't I/how do I delete the (old) folder icons?

With Windows XP, the images would stay in order as I added them, but with Windows 7 they are always in order of the image name. Each time I come back to this folder, windows will take like 8 or 10 seconds to load them all. I don't think it rebuilds thumnails, which would take even much longer, no it seems it reloads and resorts.
Anyway to speed this up so it will load instantly ?

Nov 3, 2010In old windows, when you renamed a photo, it stayed in the same place in relation to all the other photos in the folder until you closed and then reopened the folder. Now in 7 and vista, as soon as you rename it, it gets reordered in the folder by name. It jumps away from its current position. With 250 photos in the folder, its hard to get it back.I need information on the photo to rename the next photo. Any way to make it stay in place till the folder is opened and closed? When I try to open the drive and access my files, Pic, Doc, etc. It says this folder is empty. How do I regain access to my files?
