in my taskbar, i have a shortcut for my pictures folder. but when i minimize it, it minimize to the explorer folder. how i change it. i want to minimize it to his shortcut, not to the explorer. but i want to keep explorer shortcut too.

I used Ultimate Windows Tweaker, and checked "Disable window previews (thumbnails)", and it seemed to work, but now, the peskies are back.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and lately my Pictures folder is taking an age to open and frequently doesn't respond.Everything else seems to work fine and opens normally - it's just this one folder.

These duplicates are not copies; what you do to them affects their desktop counterparts. This means I cannot move, rename, or delete them without the desktop files being affected. Some websites have very annoying music or 'announcements' so I like to switch the sound off - now I can't without going via Control Panel.I have looked in Control panel and found System Icons - and the Sound label is shown as OFF. But the little arrow next to it to change the state is greyed out so I can't turn it back on.I tried the 'show all icons' under Notification Area Icons but the audio still doesn't show.

Then today I unpinned Firefox from there because I wanted to change the icon I was using. After deciding I didn't like it I tried to go back to the one I was using but when I pinned it back to the task bar this problem occurred:As you can see when I click on the silver Firefox icon, it opens up a new firefox icon (default icon) in a separate place, taking up unnecessary space. I can't figure out how to make it go back to the way it was where everything stayed within the silver icon.

When I right click on the taskbar and choose properties, the power icon is turned off and the button that allows you to turn it on is greyed out. On my xp laptop I can left click on the battery in the taskbar and choose always on, presentation, ect. My desktop has Windows 7 x64, and I can't enable the power icon on the taskbar (Its grayed out in the "turn system icons on or off" ).
