Firewall A VNC Connection Error

I've installed a VNC client by Jaadu both on my win 7 64 system & my iPhone.
Everything went smoothly until I applied the FreeSSHd encryption program.
When I try to connect with the computer the iphone gets this error:
Connection Error:
connection refused. You may have a firewall blocking access. Please check your connection settings & try again.
Now FreeSSHd has forums, but for some reason I get get past the challenge textbox. I've tried several times with different browers. It just wont let me post a question there.
I've looked in the firewall section in the control panel, but I dont see anything about FreeSSHd to enable?
Any help or ideas?

Recently had a virus infection and noticed that the windows firewall service is missing. When trying to reset to recommended settings by using control panel received error code 0x80070424. Cannot access other computers or shared files/folders on home network. Saw a previous post dated 12-17 that appears to be the same problem.

I have install server application on one machine(64 bit win 7). it is basically for licensing purpose on local area network. In windows firewall setting i created inbound rule for listening connection request i.e UDP port 5000 and outbound rule for broadcasting purpose.scenario:-I am using 64 bit windows 7 professional and windows firewall is on. when client application try to connect to server, it connect successfully but after 30-40 second connection to server lost and it lunch connection error and asking for reconnect.If i turn off firewall, every things are going as per my expectation.Note:- above scenario is working fine on window XP.

Two BSOD in less than two minutes and now strangely I don't have any internet connection (the troubleshoot center says it's because of "the diagnostic policy service is not running") and the windows firewall is down and is impossible to run again (Windows Firewall can't change some of your settings, Error code 0x8007042c).
I'm uploading the two dmp files with this post using another computer.

when i surf the internet about 50% of the time i get the error "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". And when i hit the troubleshoot tab it states "security or firewall settings might be blocking connection"

I've tried both Comodo and ZA firewalls. I prefer either over Windows 7 built-in firewall. The problem I have is after installing either of these I have control issues with Network Discovery and File Sharing. More exactly, even though the system shows these two items are off and/or disabled (manually), Start> Computer> Network will start showing available computers to connect to, whereas, Windows 7 firewall will inform me that both items are turned off. I use a public WiFi so this is obviously not a good thing. How to deal with this 3rd party firewall/File Sharing issue? Is the fact that the 3rd party firewalls are blocking any connection attempts a sign that everything is okay? Or should I just stay with Windows 7 firewall?

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, now when i go to Control Panel and then to Windows Firewall I notice that it is turned off with box saying " update your Firewall settings " use "recommended settings " so I click on it and then I get a message coming up saying " WINDOWS FIREWALL CAN'T CHANGE SOME OF YOUR SETTINGS. ERROR CODE - 0x80070424 " so I have no idea what I can do to get the firewall working properly so am hoping someone can please help me,

i m on the Lenovo T61 with Ultimate edition. now i got problem with Windows Firewall, as in the screenshot. then I cannot connect to the Internet thru WiFi at all. I got connected but Identify Internet sth, then Internet not work.
Though I repair windows but no luck, but if i reinstall it, it worked but just restarted few times, it happens again.
i m nearly crazy now as i love Windows 7 for nearly 1/2 already till now i encountered this issue.

i checked my firewall and it was off and so was windows defender and before that i couldn't download anything no matter what browser i use, i get error codes trying to turn the firewall and defender.so i scanned my PC with Microsoft safety scanner it it found hacktool win32/keygen it said that it was only partially removed,is there a way to remove it.

My PC has been infected by some kind of virus that keeps coming back even after my anti virus has removed it(persistent). how to remove the virus and I ran into one of bleepingcomps tuts. It told me to run combofix, so I run it. And after I reboot the virus is gone. But then I checked my firewall and it showed the error.
My Av is MSE. OS is Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit

I've recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Beta Build 7000 and I have Comodo Firewall 3.8.65951.477 64-Bit installed as my firewall. I get this problem that I can't solve at all .
When I click on " Run Diagnostics" I have this :
Indeed, I click "Yes" and this is what comes next :
PS : The Windows 7 Firewall is desactivated!
Anybody haves an idea on this problem, please ?

I am having problems getting firewall to stay running, when try to start get 1079 code, need this to run in order to install wireless program for HP printer. Tried many options including running malware and virus programs. Maybe need to reinstall drivers for this? Will that be a complete reinstall or can it be only the drivers for the firewall,,,is it a driver issue at all?

As of today, I am constantly getting a popup from the Internet Protection Firewall Alert saying I have serious threats and I keep saying "ignore". They say do you want to protect and get rid of the viruses and then they want me to buy something and I say no. But the popup still happen about every 2 minutes and it says JEMonster is found. I did run Super anitspyware yesterday, but that is all I've done. It did remove stuff from the registry. I can't even use the computer.

Recently I was trying to allow access to one of my programs in firewall, firewall says it needs to switch to default settings, so I click it, it shows "Windows Firewall can't change some of your settings. Error code 0x80070424. Ive looked for a long time trying to find a solution, and from what ive gathered, I have malware (that I might have got rid of) that might have deleted these (they do not exist in the services list), but I am not positive

Bought a new HP Pavilion dv7-6157cl and when I tried to connect to my wireless Netgear N750 ( WNDR4000 ), I got a Error 651. My Acer laptop connects just fineI went to device manager, then to network adapters and the only item listed is Realtek PCIE GBE family controller. No WiFi adapter is listed. I removed the back panel and a Ralink 5390gn 802.11 b/g/n Wifi adapter is installed. I'm thinking the adapter is inop.

Just installed 7068 on my friends laptop, but cant connect to the internet. Get an error 691 message (local area connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration)
Anyone know how to resolve this please. I use the same broadband connection now on my desktop without any problems. But when I connect the cable to his laptop I get this error!!

i'm using a broadband internet,it was working fine in windows XP and windows 7,But now,i re-installed windows 7,and re-installed the software and the driver of the broadband,then i got this error "Error 691: The remote connection was denied because the username and password combination you provided is not recognized, or the selected authentication protocol is not permitted on the remote access server"

I'm trying to connect to my home ssh server from work using putty so I can forward rdp and website connections. I've been having problems so decided to change the ports on my server to port 80 since it seems most other ports are blocked including port 443. When trying to connect I get the error incoming packet was garbled on decryption. Now I know the outgoing connection works fine as I've checked it in my router logs and it says packet accepted on port 80 from my work ip address. I just cant seem to get it past this point and this error is stopping the ssh tunnel from starting.

Well, i also have the Windows 7. I can connect with Ethernet without any problems. When i atepmt to connect using the wireless Belkin desktop card. i get this problem found by the Windows Network Diagnostics...(Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration) marked as 'not fixed'
So i contacted my ISP and once i told them i was running Windows 7, they no longer wanted to help me. (Frontier)
I have 3 PCs, 2 with Windows 7 and one with Vista.
1**My gaming PC(Windows 7) is connected via Ethernet and connection is fine.
2**My HP laptop (Win Vista) is connected via wireless, and is working fine.
3**My newest PC(Windows 7) was connected with Ethernet, but we cant deal with the wire hanging off the loft, so i got the Belikin wireless card. It installed fine, and sees my home wireless network, the password is correct, as well as the encryption, and security type.
But when trying to connect, i get a "Connecting to the network is tanking longer than usual" followed by a "the connection was unsuccessful"
I run the troubleshooter, and first it tells me to reset my router, which i have dine, and it doesnt help, so i go on to diagnose additional problems, and that is when i get the most important problem.....(Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration) marked as 'not fixed
I read a post by Esparko in this forum, with a very similar problem that was solved by SquonkSC..... Can anyone tell me what is wrong, and how i can fix this plz?

I am not 100% sure if i should be posting this here or not but ill just continue. Okay so i have a Dell infinion 15r-n5110 laptop. a couple days ago i dual booted up with fedora 17. i self partition the 1TB hd. i left the partition for windows 7 unscathed. ever since then windows 7 has not been able to ping my home broadband connection. i have personaly changed the DNS server to serveral addresses i have found on dozens of other forums but nothing helps me. i cant access a router to easy but i did at work finally today and even with the cable plugged in it will not ping in windows 7. however both wifi card and the wired connection work just fine in fedora. i am thinking its something to do with the boot processes not initalizing. i have downloaded and reinstalled the drivers off the intel website for the wifi netword device (Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 1030) and it still will not let me ping, i even went as so far as to turn off my firewall thinking it was a security issue and tryed to ping. still no luck. im hoping i have provided enough details and trial and errors for someone out there to give me something useful.

So i was browsing the internet casually, and all of a sudden my internet connection is lost ....OK, so i checked the modem connection, and all the available connections on my computer, and nothing, just error 651, I looked around and found its a bug, and someone said change the raspppoe.sys file to raspppoe_orig.sys and it will fix it, so i did, but still nothing. Please help, is there anyway around this?

I was planning on doing some college work during the weekend, but when I went to switch my laptop on it wouldn't connect to my hub. I have Windows 7 and my network connection symbol in the bottom right corner had a yellow star over it saying there wasn't limited access and the connection was unsuccessful. After restarting my hub and laptop, then trying a neighbours hub it was still unsuccessful. I have used the troubleshoot settings and the response says I have either a problem with the driver for the Wireless Network Connection adapter, or the Local Area Connection adapter. I am unsure on what this means and how to fix it

I want my computer to give out some wifi for mobile devices/other computers. The router is at the other side of the house so i don't get any connection down here. But my computer is wired.When I make an Ad Hoc network, it works. I have my Windows 7 Ultimate PC here and I can connect to my worksite via the built-in VPN software in windows 7 no problem whatsoever.
I've just built a second PC and installed Windows 7 Home Premium on it, it is sitting here right next to me on my same network and it refuses to connect via VPN.
Username and Password is OK, I've perfectly mirrored the VPN configuration between the two machines and one connects and the other won't.
I've tried turning off all of the windows firewalls on the problematic system with no success.
Everytime it get's to verifying username and password and then it stalls there and eventually comes back with a 619 error. I've checked the logging, but I can't see anything useful there (but maybe i don't know what to look for?).
