Computer Outputs A "beep Beep" Sound 1/3 Times Wallpaper Changes?
Jul 31, 2012
As the title says my PC outputs a "beep beep" sound out external speakers. It is extremely annoying. I haven't the slightest clue why it does this. Its kindof i higher pitch beep beep. all my specs are on my profile.
Computer freezes suddenly making a beep sound (loop),none of the keyboards or mouse commands work.Sometimes it doesn't even freeze and suddenly shut off.Its two years i have been using my computer, until now no such problem had occured. In between there was BSOD but it went automatically. After shutdown when i start the computer,it doesnt start in a single attempt, the cpu light goes on and off ,then i have to again switch it on and maybe it will start
Just recently, on waking up from Sleep by moving mouse, a three-second beep in the computer sounds, as the computer wakes correctly. How do I remove that sound; how might it have begun so unexpectedly?I recently did a repair from the Windows back-up.
First of all i have an ASUS P6X58D Premium motherboard and three days ago updated to 24GB of Ram.Suddenly while i was relaxing on my pc a few hours ago, a beeping sound that lasted for about 1-2 seconds started coming from the speakers. I instantly got worried as this is the first time it happened. I looked up google for "beeb sound", and i found out that this is some form of coding representing errors....but these sounds should not come from the motherboard instead of the speakers????
my packard bell easynote lj65 will keep making beep sound until it gets to window environment, when i trouble shoot, i found out that the keyboard is actually the problem, then i disconnect the internal keyboard and attached external USB keyboard and it works perfectly. then, when i couple it back and power it on, the power indication light will be on but nothing will be displayed on the screen.
I was trying to research but couldn't find anything on. While I'm typing, there's a very short beep that's coming from the computer with every keypress. Not only that but I no longer am able to hit to press to keys in a row.
when i playing games like dota sometimes my computer beeps once and cause my keyboard and mouse to stuck so im forced to restart my comp . Sometimes once beep then stuck keyboard and mouse but after a few seconds the keyboard and mouse will work again without restarting my comp.
Every time i want to use the computers sound it starts making a horrible beep sound, very high pitch. I tried using the sound settings but nothing, if i disable the mic then i cannot hear anything i want to play on netflix. i cant use skype or any other program designed to use sound without hearing this beep.
Every time I click a link or whatever on a page, I hear a strange 'beep' sound inside my computer. Sometimes when I'm clicking into a webpage that has to load a lot of scripts or images, I hear multiple beeping until the page is loaded.
I have a Compaq 615 running Windows 7. Recently, I have heard a beeping sound that isnt too disimiliar to the BIOS beeps on start up. However, this can be heard when the OS is running.
There is no set pattern to the beeps. It can occasionally be 2-3 beeps very close together but is mostly just one beep. It is starting to worry me a little.
Here are a list of things I've done to try and resolve already:
Remove an USB devices that have been plugged in Clean the keyboard with compressed air incase this was caused by a stuck key Ran system check Cleaned up the C-Drive Ran a HDD check from booting up Checked eventvwr
Its only been happening since this new computer (win7 pro) was installed.. They have another computer with the same software/hardware configuration running in another studio that doesn't make the beeping sound.
whenever i shutdown my pc the last thing i hear is the hdd come to a loud beep noise for a second. the noise is in this video at 1:13... he says its the hdd emergency shutdown.inside a notebook hard drive - Internet
how can i fix this problem? i ran some sort of hdd check and it said it was ok. the drive i have is the western digital, blue, 500gb, 7200rpm.here is someone with a different hdd model number but the exact same problem... windows 7 and hard drive shutdown problem - hard-disks - storage
OK,I turn it on...lights flash on the key I see the big E symbol hear the normal beep and then It just stops...and a lil blinker in the top right corner of screen..SEEMS ONLY the F12 key works..no F8,10.....I tried a new monitor..same thing
I recently re-installed win 7 on my dell studio 1454 laptop which I purchased 1.5yrs ago. and today while listening to music via VLC a strange screen just like tv static came up with a long beep.
My Specs: (acc. to speccy) Dell Studio 1545 Laptop Windows 7 x64 Intel Core i3 350M @ 2.27GHz 4GB DDR3 RAM @ 532MHz Motherboard - Dell Inc. 0133D9 (CPU 1) GPU - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5450
I was playing Syndicate on PC, and then suddenly, the game froze along with the sound. I could not alt tab, or ctl alt del. So I shut down the laptop using the power button. Then onwards, every time I start/restart it beeps numerous times and then the HP logo is seen, then it beeps numerous times again and then asks "Choose operating system". I click windows 7 on that screen and then it starts and works fine. I have started and restarted, and the number of beep codes are numerous and dont have an exact count every time. On one start it might be 11 beeps and on another it might be 8 beeps. I am on HP G70 120, and I am on Windows 7 32 Bit. The only operating system I am using is Windows 7.
Re: Toshiba laptop...my computer has been fine until recently...i'm using a wirelss mouse and keyboard...i have tried two different keyboards and am still getting the same annoying things...every single time I open a "search" box or go to type in an address bar...the letter "h" starts randomly and repeadedly typing itself. I cannot backspace quick enough at times to keep it from appearing. Also...I keep hearing the annoying "default beep" (windows ding). What are the chances that both keyboards I've used are faulty?? Probably not. If I have a virus or malware...any and all removal tools are just not picking up on it.
For the last three months my computer has been playing the default been whenever I move my mouse. Anytime it beeps and I'm currently on a writing bar or program it will write a long string of q's every time it beeps. I have no idea how to stop it switched mice keyboards tried installing and reinstalling drivers and nothing works.
The only way I can get my computer to start is to cut, then restore power. Then I get the beep, and the Windows introduction graphics start showing up.Then the machine abruptly shuts down and the green led blinks 3 sec on, 3 sec off. The next time I cut and restore power,I may get a screen that offers to "restore". That option may or may not work.If it does work, the computer finally boots and acts normally.Or I might get a screen giving me the option to repair or start normally.Choosing to start normally usually works. What do I need to do?
I took out my wireless card to clean off the extra dust, when I replaced it back into my mother board I found that I no longer receive signal from my Graphic's card to my monitor. I also noticed that during my computers normal booting up process there was no "beep" like the computer normally gives as to loads windows 7.
So when I turn on my pc my monitor says there is no signal. My monitor is hooked up to my graphics card instead of the mother board. (I have yet to find the cord that plugs into the mother board, I've misplaced it.) When I boot the system up the fan runs and it makes every noise it should except the beep just before loading the OS.
I just got a beautiful new laptop for Christmas (HP Pavilion g7 1260ca). Every time I start it up, it starts in "Windows Boot Manager" and makes me select Windows 7 as my operating system. That's annoying in it's self (why won't it just start on it's own! It's not like I'm running another operation system as well!) but what's even worse, as the text is appearing on the screen, a loud obnoxious beep sounds with each word that appears! I checked to make sure no keys are stuck, so it's not that. Once I choose Windows 7, I'm able to sign in with no problem.
I like to play games with headphones on so I can hear voice chat and in game sounds, but I also like to listen to music. It would be a ton easier for me if I could play my music thats on my computer through my speakers, and still listen to game and such in the headphones. I have not been able to find any way to use multiple jacks on my computer in the way Id like to.
- intel Q9550 quad - DP45sg motherboard (which use IDT HD audio drivers) - 4 gig corsair ram - ATI HD4890
audio and video drivers are updated to lastest version.I had no problem with XP, but when I installed Windows 7 (64bits), I started to get a wierd bug.At random times, the computer seems to freeze for about a second then get back to normal. Everything freezes, mouse, graphic and if there's sound playing, it seems like it's repeating the same sound at incredible speed until the lag ends. Here's a mp3 to show you what kind of sound the lag makes :Lag sound I really don't have a clue what it can be. I've tried multiple things. I've updated audio and video drivers. I've search around forums to find similar problems. Couldn't find anything.
for the last few days my computer has started to hang at random times. It could be 1 min or 15 min after start up and does not look to be linked to any 1 program. when it happens the computer will slow down for a min then I just get the round circle icon and nothing works, I cant even do Ctr Alt Del. I have done AVG scan and Superantispyware and all was fine apart from tracking cookies. I have also taken most unused programs out of MSCONFIG startup and still no luck.I will try and run the SysInfo tool and Hijackthis on the computwer now and post the results (Im using a different computer to post this)When it starts to slow Task manager, if i have it open in time, shows nothing strange cpu between 0% and 20%
Using windows 7 and just got this computer like a month ago, was a custom build so i'm sure it's something simple i am just not good with these[CODE]It ONLY happens when i play diablo 3, i asked on another forum and they suggested i had a broken stick of ram. My computer is more than sufficient to run diablo 3 and this just started happening recently
Recently i have been having extremely high ping rates to any website i try to ping. Normally i run ping [URL] -t well my results constantly run over 100ms ping times while all of the rest of the computers on my network run around 40ms ping time. I have determined that it must have something to do with my computer. Here is a list of everything i have tried:
-Reinstall network card drivers (had no effect)
-Scan my computer with msert, Security essentials, spybot S&D (no results)
-Plugging a different computer into the same network cable (other computer worked fine)
-Boot in safe mode (had no effect, still getting bad ping times)
I ran Hijackthis and here are the results:

I also noticed my zonealarm z100g router keeps popping up this in its log:
