Jan 26, 2011I'm Running Windows 7(64bit)Each time I boot into Windows 7 Prem (64) a open window apears requesting my username at the top of the open window to specify a a program to open it?I've clicked on note pad and I get the following information that apears, each time though it requests, or looks for a program to use to open.

Cannot Open 'choose A File' Window In Any Ocasion
Mar 11, 2012I cant open the window to choose the files to upload to a website;I Cant open that same windo to choose the fileto open with a program (ex: im on paint and i cant open the "choose a file" window to open and edit a photo)and i cant open that same window in any other program :that started to happen after a registry defrag/cleaning, any sugestion?

Jan 22, 2011yesterday i made a clean installation of windows 7 in my notebook but i'm not able to play any video file in wmp 12 . i can play the mp3s though it worked fine before i reinstalled the OS whenever i try to open a video file it says wmp has stopped working and gets closed
I've tried reinstalling the player, i've repaired it using Fix WMP , i've cleaned up the registries using ccleaner but no luck yet..
"File Open" Window Doesn't Display Correctly
Mar 25, 2010I have a problem running Patran 2007 in Windows 7, the program seems to run fine, and I am able to open data bases and work on them. The problem comes in when I want to either save the database, open a new database or just open a current database. For each of these functions a new smaller window pops up so I can navigate to the correct file or path to click on it or whatever.
Initially the window opens as I would expect, but as soon as I move the mouse or try to use the keyboard to navigate, the window goes blank and I can do nothing with it. Strangely, using the compatibility setting to open the program in a 640x480 display, they do seem to work fine, but because of the small resolution, I cannot actually see the part of the window where the files are - so that also doesn't help me.
It seems as though there is something between Patran and Windows that one of them don't like, but it baffles me that everything else works fine. If any one else has had the same problem, maybe with a different program even, let me know what you did to resolve it. Otherwise any advise would be useful.
Adding 'open In New Window' To Search Results, & Opening In New Window?
Feb 16, 2012Whenever I search in Windows 7, I want to have the ability to open found folders in a new window. If I r-click, that option is not there. Is there a way to add this to Windows 7?
Also: When I go to 'open file location', the file's folder opens in the same window - highly annoying. In Vista, it opens in a new window. Anyway to change this behvior in Windows 7 to act like Vista, so the file opens in a new window?

Media Player - How To Change Default Window Size
May 18, 2009Whenever I play a video file (.wmv, mpg, etc) or audio (.mp3), MP starts out at the last size it "remembered." But when it opens the file and starts playing it, the window gets really small, like a default size and makes it difficult and annoying to re-size it to an appropriate size. Most annoying is MP becomes smaller such that the volume control on it disappears to just being a toggle for mute. Is there any way to change the default size of MP?
