i didnt know where to put this thread. Anyways, when i try to instal Call of Duty 2 on my windows 7 i get an error that says Library not registered, and i have to go to Task manager to close it. CoD2 is original, no cracked **** and i downloaded the evaluation copy of Windows 7 from microsoft.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI see a lot of complaints about games black screening. This has more than one form and one form of it is due to improper video drivers so we will put that aside.
I always get a black screen after launching COD5 however if you wait a few moments the black screen goes away and the game plays fine from that point forward.
Does anyone know the cause and/or a solution to the black screen issue?
I have installed the origonal COD - Game of the Year on a Windows 7 Pro 64bit based PC. The game plays great until I get to the "Soviet Union" missions. Then it exits stating "CODSP.exe has stopped responding". I've searched for answers and tried several suggestions like running as Administrator, Normal, and Safe Mode but no joyIt always stops when loading in the Soviets.....and always works fine up to that point. The CD is in like new condition. When Re-opening the program, the message "COD didn't shut down properly, would you like to run in Safe Mode" comes up.....The PC is Intel D975XBX MB, XFX GT7600 video card, Intel 3 GHz Pentium D. I'm in Single Player mode and have reinstalled COD twice without renaming files.

I have tried a few fixes like starting up in compatability mode and changing the sound to 44100 and 48k but they dont work. Occasionally when I play around enough it will work but next time I try to play it is back to crashing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have bought a Dell Inspiron N5110 recently in Feb 2012, with following specifications: i7 processor, 750 GB HDD, 4GB RAM, 1GB NVidia GT525M Graphics Card. It has Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1. I installed Intel Graphics driver and the nvidia graphics driver version given along with the laptop. (Version 268.30)
After installation in my Device manager there are two graphic cards shown:
1) Intel HD Graphics Family
2) NVIDIA GeForce GT 525 M
The NVIDIA GeForce shows as Code 43 error stating "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" in Device status. When I tried opening the NVIDIA control panel it says "You are currently not using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU". Then I installed Call of Duty - MW3 Game and the performance of the game is not so great. I visited nvidia website and searched for graphics driver updates and found the newer version (296.10).
I downloaded and installed it. This time the Code 43 error didn't happen and the control panel also is working. But after installing new driver, I tried playing the game again and this time the system gave the BSOD error. I tried changing the settings so that my game takes only the NVIDIA processor but still it gave BSOD error while modifying the settings in NVIDIA control panel.
Then I tried the following combinations and none worked:
1) Intel Graphics + NVIDIA old version - Code 43 error
2) Intel Graphics + NVIDIA new version - BSOD error
3) Intel Graphics Disabled + NVIDIA any version - Bad graphics with 800 X600 resolution. Game didn't even start.
4) Intel Graphics uninstalled + NVIDIA any version - Bad graphics with 800 X600 resolution. Game didn't even start.
Even my HD movies/half HD movies in my laptop stutter sometimes and I have no clue why it happens. My Laptop is still under warranty and I would like to know what should be the solution for my problem. Please find attached memory dump description folder as mentioned in the rules. I tried generating the performance report but it gave an error stating "error in generating the report".
Does anyone know if Win 7 XP mode (Pro or Ultimate) play the games Call of Duty 2, Phantasmagoria or Amber Journey Beyond?

So I went "Computer" right clicked the game "Open in new Window" than tried to install it by "Run as Administrator" on Setup. When I go to create a new Library it reads the following error message: "Unable to create the new file 'New Library.library-ms' File System Error: (16389)." Not only is the library no longer accessible, but I cannot access any of the Music, Pictures or Documents from the Start Menu.I am only able to access the folders using the search bar by selecting "User Name" from the drop down box, then suddenly everything's there. It will not allow me to drag/drop anything into the Library folder or even create a new one.

I use my computer for logging amateur radio contacts and e-mail primarily.I uninstalled a program yesterday that I guess I shouldn't have. It was Roxio.After doing this I tried to open one of the logging programs. These programs are used for logging contacts,controling and following my radio as well as my antenna rotor, puts me on telnet and it even sends morse code fom the Function keys.Anyway when trying to open the program I ger an 'error 39' Component MScomm32.osx or one of it's dependencies is missing or unregistered.I had the same problem with another file and after spending over 60 bucks, I got it fixed... but they would only answer that one question and I couldn't follow up with other problems.Another program I use exhibits basically the same problem but it is MSINET.ocx.

Reinstall2 - rmorsm.dll not registeredI did a SFC /scannow as stated in SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker and although it found and repaired some errors, none were of the 2 I mentioned above, and they reappeared also after doing the SFC scan.I even did several scans, but the problem still occurs.Googling either of these 2 error messages only yields: Missing Files but no side effects, which led me to the SFC scan in the 1st place, which solved the problem for him, but persist for me.
